Feeling overwhelmed by the size of Brynn? Well I'm lost too, but I'll make sure that you know where the important locations are.

Small Announcement
This guide is a little bit outdated mechanically. I plan to remake it into a completely new traveler's guide to Aldor. With every possible information pertaining to what this guide currently provide with new info in regard to: Caravans, Followers, New Contract Mechanics, Rep perks, and the new settlement event mechanics.

Keep updated in the following week cause I'm still trying to enjoy playing this new update
Introduction
I made this guide solely because I got lost for a long time at Brynn, not because it's huge but rather because majority of the locations are inaccesible and I had a hard time discerning places I can and can't go to.

Just like the game, I'll be adding more contents to this guide periodically. I do plan to upgrade this guide to cover the entirety of Aldor ("Traveler's Guide to Aldor" coming 2023) once Brynn became completely finished. Check this guide again after minor or major update. There may be new things I added.

About Reputations.
There are 3 tiers of Positive reputation (found in the Journal Tab) you can get from each individual settlement or factions. Starting from Benevolence at 3000, Amity at 5000, and Respect at 7000. Some merchant's won't sell their better stuff until at least amity and their best will only be sold at Respect. Examples are the Alchemist at Brynn who starts selling Specialized mage apparels at Amity, and Specialized mage staves at Respect.
Brynn NW: Mint Square
This area is directly south of where Verren parks the carriage, so it's gonna be the first thing you see.

Vir Krenn's Printing House
Where leaftlets, bounties, and news made. It is the first thing you'll find when entering brynn so you cannot miss it. He sells & buy books at a fair price, if you need some lower tier skill, I'd suggest seeking the individual trainers or look for the librarian in Mannshire.
Sells: Treatises (up to tier 2)
Buys: Also Treatises & some other Books

Trading House of the Azure Threads
Right where the elves gets segregated into ala Windhelm is the Trading house selling Exotic Imports from Jacinth. The goods are overpriced, but it is going to be the only place where you can find unique equipment you wouldn't otherwise find elsewhere.
Sells: Imported Goods & Equipments
Buys: None
Notable Items: Elven Mud, Elven Ice Wine, Ruby Sash, Jibean Cloak, Elven Brigadine, and Rare Weapons

House of Azure Threads (Soon™)
The actual Elven Guild on Brynn. A minor faction you can see in the tab so they would definitely have something important for you to do.

Brynn Cathedral
The Host's influences hasn't been as exagerrated as the rumor said. You can tell by a glance that they are wealthy. There isn't much to do here with a job seeker for now, but there will definitely be. Blessings from the Hieropant lasts twice as long than everywhere else, keep that in mind.

University
The University have some monks and scholars hanging around and a unique well that I bet you didn't even notice. This could be one of the major influence of Brynn resides at. The only use you'll find would be the well in between the University and the Cathedral, other than that would be chit chat with the academics.

Market Square
There are 5 different market stand for Fruit, Butchery, General Goods, Medicine, and Dairy. He will often sell mage gear and other rare equipment incase you haven't figured out how to buy things from the guild just downtown. Additionally, the concentration of shopkeeper and civilians makes this place the best place to ask for rumor.

Golden Grain Inn
The most Overpriced place to stay in Brynn, gathering of the unsavory folks such as Nobles, Merchants, and Envoys. Travelers (Especially mercenaries such as you) needs to be wary unless you are the type with too much money on hand. The best part about this inn beside the fact that it's the closest to the entrance is the free breakfast you get

Bank of Brynn
It's like an Inn but for you money. Exchange money for bills (10k worth of coins) or rent a vault (no refunds).

Silver League (Not available Yet)
Practically a Merchant's guild, they are one of the 3 big important people club in Brynn.
Brynn NE: Old Towers
This is where you'll be most of the time because it's where the stuff you actually need is located.

Armory Square
There is a quartermaster who will sell you armor and weapons (for now). The contract he provide pays out for 1000+ crowns which is nice. He also happen to sell arrows and bolts.
Sell: Weapon, Armor, Ammunition
Buy: None
Depending on how confident you are. I'd say that Brynn dungeons are designed for Level 10-12 at least. You can always go there as early as you can to bank on reputation as early as possible, it's not really forbidden but prepare to be frustrated.

Pawn Shop
The Pawnbroker will buy literally anything at a fairly unfair prices. Don't bother dealing with him unless he have an item you want. He will also sell marked up equipment at higher level than the quartermaster. He buys valuable for slightly less than the Jeweler and Merchants, and sells at a worse markup
Sell: Valuables, General Goods
Buy: Junk, Valuables, Anything

Watchtower Inn
After several threads complaining about having to go back to Mannshire to save, this Inn became the first location to be implemented. Do be aware that the food here is slightly overpriced but it still beats having to ride back to mannshire

Barracks
Not much of an interest for now. You'll be here often just cause the well is located here. There is a jail being added a bit sooner as a grim reminder that Crime mechanics is a thing now. Also, there's a Shrine for your non-Jogrim to pray at

Grocery
This place sells many types of base food and several exclusive meals that deals with morale. While what he sells are quite cheap (for Brynn) which is great for saving every bits of money. There is also a lady just outside of the store that sells lots of forage and vegetables

Bakery
Located in the lower left corner of the town. This store sells a large amount of baked goods, some of which are exclusive to this location. One of the food he has for sale is the bilberry pie which had been my long time favorite. Like every other store in Brynn, the selections are slightly overpriced but might be worth it in the long run.
Brynn SW: Guild Quarter
This is where all of the craftsmen work at. Every equipment trader is here from the smith, tailor, and carpenter. The managers, aka the Guild Baliffs would not sell anything to you until you grease their wheels and obtain a permission from the Quartermaster. However, the worker around will still do repairs for you.

Guild House
This is where the guy that everyone dislike lives in. There will probably some major questing here since you have a reputation scale with them.

Jewelry Shop
The only person in the Guild Quarter who isn't actually in the guild. Nice guy too. Try selling all of your treasure and jewelry here, he pays a bit better than the pawnkeep so be nicer to him in return.
Sell: Amulets, Rings, Gems
Buy: Jewelry, Gems, Valuables

Tailoring Workshop
The man in blue is in charge of the Tannery. You might want to keep your purse "Fat", just in case. Once, you got acquainted, Feel free to meet him in his office, just upstair, in the building he would stand behind. He'll be there at around 8 PM till midnight.
Sells: Backpack, Light & Medium Armor, Belts, Quivers
Buys: None
Prequisite: 2000 Gold; Alternative: 1000 Gold

Carpentry Workshop
Speak to the man in black for any of your need. He doesn't trust stranger so you'll gonna want to speak to his "friend" the quartermaster to be introduced. If he still doesn't wanna talk, try getting the Jeweler to "vouch" for you instead
Sells: Wooden Weapons, Shield, Bows, Crossbows, Ammunitions
Buys: None
Prequisite: Benevolence + Permission from the Quartermaster & a Ruby (Jewelry Workshop)

Smithing Workshop
The guy in green should be around, he's the one in charge. Get him a couple of stuff for a "picnic" and he'll humor you.
Sells: Metal Weapons, Heavy Armor, Helmets, Metal Belts
Buys: None
Prequisite: Elven Ice Wine (House of Azure Thread), Golden Candelabra, Golden Inkpot (Pawnshop). Alternative: Elven Ice Wine 3x

Three Pots Tavern
One of the four Inn of brynn, managed by a widow. The fee for a room is slightly cheaper than the Watchtower inn so put that one in mind (the foods in the other hand are just as pricey)
Brynn SE: Docks

Bathouse (Comming Soon)
Comes 3 in 1 with a barbershop, hot bath, and a <3.

Alchemical Emporium of Curious Goods
Where you could find potion strong enough to defeat a dragon. There is definitely something more about this city's local alchemist. The Alchemist provide almost all that a mage would need, starting from amity with Brynn.
Sells: Potion, Ingredients, Mage Equipment (Amity), Mage Staves (Respect)
Buys: None (If you have potions, sell it to the Quartermaster instead)
In front of the alchemist's shop is another General Goods merchant.

Close Harbor Tavern
Final 4th, and the cheapest inn, pretty much the same prices as regular village inn. The food and drinks however, had never been any cheaper :(

Fencer
A hidden place, known by less reputable type. A recommendation from the Rotten Willow Tavern will be required (get to at least benevolence with them). The vendor sells items at a much higher level than what you expect. Including late game heavy Armors. Additionally, you can pay for rumors and location of faraway dungeons.
Sells: Very high tier equipment (overpriced)
Buys: Anything (underpriced)

Dockside Market
Couple of Merchants here, each of them provide Imported goods from Jacinth, Fjall, and Nistria The trader you might encounter here changes from time to time between 4 different Merchants. don't expect all of them to be at the same place.
Check on them from time to time, they might have items you wouldn't otherwise find elsewhere, the Dwarven mechant for example sells two of the best light armor for your dodge/crit builds.
Sells:
  • Jibean Merchant: Elven goods, Rare Amulets (Jade, Maaf, Everflaming), Rare Elven Weapons
  • Fjall Merchant: Bear Pelts, Ambers, Rare Light Garments, Rare Dwarven Weapons
  • Skadian Merchant: Various Pelts, Rare Skadian Weapons & Medium Armor
  • Nistrian Merchant: Mirror Quilted Coat, Nistrian Flame Flask, Rare Nistrian Weapons
Buys: Also Varied
There is also a fish seller. He now sells crab and fishes. Would be useful later when they add cooking

The Docks
A small coastal dock, absolutely nothing else of interest here. You can admire the boats too if you want
Brynn Misc.
Aside from the 4 main districts, there are some minor areas of interest not so far from here.

Brynn Outskirt
Just north from Brynn is a stable. Caravans and especially Ol' Tott should be somewhere around there. He provides fast travel service and cheap bedrolls.

Abandoned Siege Camp
Remains of the Aldorian Succession war. The only non junk to find there would be the broken heater shield.
Roadside Stops
Here is where I'll list the newly added minor settlements, These location can be easily found by following roads. I really would recommend that you don't read this if you want to experience discovering these places by yourself. Almost all of the locations can be fast traveled to and from
Hover above any of the black bars to reveal the hidden content!

Oaken Barrel Brewery
Location Hint: Literally impossible to miss.
One of the first few roadside area you'll be familiarized with. Depending on how things ends, you may be able to trade with Kromm, the owner of the brewery by right clicking at him. The things he have for sale may surprise you. It's very common for player to pick up a couple of barrel on the way out to later sell it back and nearby inns on their way

Rotten Willow Tavern
Location Hint: Found by following the road just north of Mannshire.
Several Merchants of questionable reputation can be found here. The barkeep will buy any stolen item you want to fence. He also provide basic inn service. There is an Occult practitioner who will pay great amount of cash for contract item and some occult merchandise. He will also be buying any cursed items you have. Just across the table is also a drug dealer who sells all sort of drugs.

Ralph & Sons Inn
Location Hint: Found by following the road east from Oaken Barrel Brewery
A very comfy place to take a break, nothing sinister about this place. One of the trader is a carpenter who will sell you some low level stuff and ammo, another would sell you food.

Distant Homestead
Location Hint: Found on a crossroad south from Osbrok
There isn't much to do aside from a couple you can gossip with. There will probably be something to do here soon

SPOILER TERRITORY BELOW

Abbey of Holy Revelation
Location Hint: Somewhere on the road, west from the Distant homestead and East from Mannshire
A little bit of loots here and there. Half of the area seems to be unreachable and I'm just as impatient to know as you are.

Ransacked Homestead
Location Hint: Found on the road by following rumors from Mannshire
Where the rumored tailor lives, even better than the one in Osbrok. You'll want to walk all the way here just to see what this place has to offer

Abandoned Homestead
Location Hint: Way down the road on the west side of the map
Not much of interest here

Plagued Village
Location Hint: At the very bottom left corner on the map, furthest from all civilizations.
A final destination for once you ran out of things to do. There is a broken well containing a very interesting thing you don't want to miss.
Closing FAQ
I'm feeling rather optimistic that this guide will get increasingly more questions as the updates begin to roll in. So for now, I'll just make up my own questions to fill in this section.
Give this guide a Favorite if it helped you, it gives me dopamine. Rate this too however you like.
If you have any of your questions about the game, feel free to ask. I'll be happy to answer any of your questions, it doesn't have to be about Brynn.

Secret Locations (WIP)
Secret Areas can be found through rumors or from randomly stumbling into one. All of these location are found in the wilderness and have a wildly variable spawn position. It's going to be a spoiler for both old map and new map players.
While not all of these area are going to have unique loots, some still does and despite of that, I can assure you that it totally worth it just for the lore and sights.

Literally the most braindead guide ever. YOu have to have an IQ of potato to need a "guide" to Brynn...

Don't know if anyone pointed this out yet, but also: Remember where the town wells are at! The water from there is free, and you can fill more than waterskins!

Great guide! Helps me a lot when I started out.

I've just found out that the expensive Golden Grain Inn serves you free breakfast. Considering it's 50g per day / 300g per week, and its proximity to most stores I frequent, it's actually not a bad deal actually.

Aight, guess I'll just keep wandering the roads as has been my plan
