Tactical Reloading

An empty magazine is a useless magazine.

What is Tactical Reloading?

(Didn't see a guide discussing this yet, so i'm making one.)

Tactical Reloading is the act of reloading your magazine fed weapon before it is empty. The technical explanation for real world weapons is that when a firearm's magazine is empty, the bolt/slide must be charged to load the first round into the chamber.


This is an example of pulling back the slide on a weapon.

That's neat, but what is the point?

Halo:infinite has different animations and reload speeds depending on if your magazine is partially empty or completely empty.

so basically you get faster reloads on certain magazine fed weapons

This only works for the following weapons:

• MA40 Assault Rifle
  
• BR75 Battle Rifle
  
• VK78 Commando
  
• MK50 Sidekick
  
• CQS48 Bulldog
  
• S7 Sniper Rifle
  
• Needler

There are even custom game (mode) settings for tactical reloading if you feel like messing with the reload speeds.





That's pretty much it.

and remember: Rocket jumping is physically impossible!

Can you explain how it works, mate? When and what do I need to press to get this tactical reload?

i qualify the needler as a magazine fed weapon because the entire weapon reloads it's entire clip/magazine at once.

also halo CE had tiny crystals for ammo pickups so i would assume those are being slotted out.

the options are only for custom games, this IS a thing in actual multiplayer. try it for yourself.
