Ultrawide Skyrim

Description
Skyrim's interface fix to corretly accomodate 21:9 aspect ratio resolutions.

I purposefully made it so that the interface looks and behaves exactly the same as the original one.

The mod does not setup the resolution itself. You still need to do it yourself, either through SkyrimPrefs.ini edit (changing "iSize H" and "iSize W" variables), through GeForce Experience or some other way that I'm not familiar with.

Mod has a custom ini file, that changes FOV and some interface variables to best replicate the look of original interface in 21:9 aspect ratio. I used 86.68 FOV, cause it makes elements of interface (like 3D view of items in inventory, lockpicking minigame, etc.) to scale to exact same proportions as with 16:9 aspect ratio. Be aware that changing those FOV values can mess up mentioned views and you will then need to figure out proper ini settings by yourself.

There is an alternative ini setup for those who like to play with original FOV. The instructions to use it are in ini file itself.

For the new FOV to kick in on existing save, after enabling the mod and loading the game, you'll need to enter map through cross menu (the one with magic, skills, inventory, map) and then leave it. After that just save your game and any future save should default to the new FOV.

Does mod add mouse acceleration to the menus? I might be wrong but I think it feels worse. I have bMouseAcceleration=0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini. Thanks for the mod! :steamthumbsup:

Sorry, but no. It's a lot of work, as every swf/svg needs to be adjusted by hand, and I don't even have any means to test it at this resolution.

@Toni
Only original version of Skyrim supports Steam Workshop, so this mod here will be available only for 2011's version. I've made an Special Edition version that's available here [www.nexusmods.com], though there may be some small issues that occured after Anniversary Edition update (I'm kinda waiting with updating it after Bethesda finishes patching the game).

does this work with Skyrim SE and Anniversary Edition?
I am asking because I subscribed to this mod here on Steam, but it does not appear as available when i start the game and go to mods. Maybe I am missing something that everyone else knows though...
