Editing Game Sprites (OLD)

Have you ever wanted to change game sprites? Well now you can!!




At least Eversion game sprites.

One thing before we start

and then edit it in some sort of software that can load pcx files, if you dont have any such software download gimp)

Beginning Steps

So first look at this. Then start editing in Paint, Gimp, Whatever. Also L8 and L4 stand for Layer 8 And layer 4. One last thing to mention is 400040 Is a transparent color code for Eversion. When you get your sprites in the game(Which will be explained in next section)remember that you could have put your sprites a bit off. So always go back to edit!

Put your sprites In the game.

Now that you have finished making your Sprites. I will now show you how to put them in the game.

• First export the image to a .pcx
  Next name it player.pcx
  Then drag it into the main root directory
  Press Play!

Note: Do not change size of sprite image. it can only be a certain size to be in the game

ok you can actually edit sprites width and hit boxes and what not but im still mapping that at the moment when i have the time and ambition the old me used to have i will find that out
