Need Steam to run the application
The Boom 3D Shortcut on your desktop is a "Steam" Shortcut, if you want to run this application without steam then create a shortcut directly on application's .exe file by browsing to the Install location of the app
Application won't run on Startup
If you want this app to run on Startup then you can add it to startup applications

For Windows 10
1. press the Windows logo key + R, type shell:startup , then select OK. This opens the Startup folder.

2. Copy and paste the shortcut to the Boom 3D app you created

For other OS just search how to add application for Startup on that OS
There is a Popping sound when opening the app
The popping sound you hear is actually the Feedback sound when the Boom Audio level is changed which will play when you open the app, you can disable it by:

1. Open the Boom 3D app
2. go to the upper left corner and click the ≡ Symbol
3. Go to Settings
4. Uncheck "Play feedback when boom audio is changed"
Best Setting
This depends on your own taste and maybe your Audio Device but for me
Basically i just enable the 3D Surround with slider in the middle and enable the WINDOWS Equalizer Preset and a surface headphone as a headset type

El programa no inicia, de un día a otro ha dejado de iniciar, la única solución es desinstalar, borrar la carpeta Boom3D de appdata/local, volver a instalar el producto y funciona, pero cada vez que reinicio windows sucede lo mismo.

The program does not open even though I set it to start automatically on Windows 10 startup. I tried the task scheduler as a second way, but it didn't work. Do you have a suggestion? Or do I have to open it myself by clicking on each system boot?

I have found this out long ago as well. There is indeed no difference when changing headphone type. But, Surface Headphone does indeed offer a slight boost in loudness/clarity (maybe treble?) over all the other options, at a low 5%. It is almost not noticeable, but if you playback the same audio multiple times, you can make out the slight difference. Overall, Surface Headphone is a tiny bit better because it raises the boost by a marginal amount, better than nothing.
