0. Start playing

When you start playing Gometry Dash the best idea is to play the main levels of the game IN ORDER, the only condition is that you don't play the DEMON levels until you have passed all the other levels. Once you have passed all of them start with Clubstep, Theory of everything 2 and Deadlocked (Obviously you can ignore this, it's just my recommendation).

After completing the main levels you can play online levels. Here I can only tell you not to start playing hard demon levels, start with insanes or easy demons.

1. Tips

To be a good player you need to practice a lot. Here are some tips:

• Play levels in practice mode

This is an error because some of the begginers don't know this mode or think that is inneccesary. Is very important because yo can practice all the parts of the level without restarting the level.

• Try to play levels you like

In Geometry Dash there are a lot of levels but some of them are bad. You can find rated levels or most liked levels.
The most liked levels or most played levels aren't the best levels. These levels are famous because appear in the map packs or Gauntlets.

• Start post

Also you can play levels with start post in a copy of the level to start in a part that you want.
If you want to practise the last part and the level is XL, you can put a start post in that part.

2. FPS bypass

In Geometry Dash you can use more FPS using the mega hack but you need a good pc to be able to use more FPS. It's really useful for insane/extreme demons.
If you use noclip or another hack in a level, you will get banned from the leaderboards (not from the game)

3. what do I need?

PC

If you are going to play GD, you need a good PC to use FPS bypass and play the newest levels. Some of the new levels are very lagged because they have a lot of objects. With an old PC you can only play old levels or levels with a few objects.

Mouse

I recommen to play with a mouse because it is easier. Also you can play with a keyboard using the arrow or space bar.
First of all, you need a good mouse to play GD because you can click faster if you need to do spam

4. Motivation

If you die in the last spike of the level don't cry, start again fom the beggining. I have been playing Geometry Dash since 2015 in my mobile (6 years). After that in 2020 I bought the game on Steam.


Some of the people play GD until they pass all the levels of the game, but the best part of the game are the online levels. If you start playing GD first, complete the main levels, then the rest of the game.

Be patient. Obviously you won't be the best player playing only 5 hours, some people is better at videogames.

You can practice with challenges, if you are bad playing with the ship, you can find ship challenges
