Skyrim: Furry Edition (Super Outdated)

Before we start let me first make one thing clear:

This project started out of curiosity and the goal to make a guide that wasn't made before anywhere. The mod (which inspired me to make this guide) is named "Yiffy Age of Skyrim". You can find it on LoversLab. If you follow this guide and get to the point installing "Yiffy Age of Skyrim", please leave a thumbs up! The mod turns all citizens (Yes .. all!) into anthropomorphic beings. Each race is displayed as a different breed!

I also want to add that I am not that much into the whole "Furry" thing, but on the other hand I have an open mind. Fact is that this really turns Skyrim into a complete different game and after many hours this is like some needed fresh air.

Goal of this guide is:

1. Making your game look gorgeous!
   
2. Adding a lot of more mature themed mods.
   
3. Turn Skyrim into an anthropomorphic Wonderland!

Introduction

For people who just want to have a beatiful game with a "normal" NPC overhaul and more, I made an extra "Graphics and Character Overhaul" Guide. Check that one out if you want to stay as vanilla as possible!

For people who never modded before or are new: Feel free to use the "Nexus Mod Manager". If you already know how to use Mod Organizer 2, use that one instead! Vortex is at this point not recommended!

For the NMM users: Most of the time overwrite any existing mod! If NMM asks for an overwrite just press: "Yes to all". The only mod that never should be overwritten is "Yiffy Age of Skyrim"! (Here you can press "No to Mod"!)

In the past I had bad experience posting links openly into Guides so if you are too lazy to Google for each mod I suggest you taking a look at my "Google-Docs"-Document, which can be found on my profile page info!

Because this game needs the Pre-AE update version there is now help! Check out the "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Downgrader Patch on" Nexus! Works like a charm and you are ready to mod!

Part 1: Fixes and Tools

For this guide you need a "Nexus" account and a "Loverslab" account. I am going to censor some modnames for the fact that they are not appropriated for the Community. Please refer to the "Google Docs" Document (Where you can also find direct links!)

If you already read my other guide about graphic overhaul, you might notice that some parts here are pretty much copy&paste.

1. SKSE
   Needs to be installed manually!
   Just drop all the files into your Skyrim Folder (Where the .exe is)

   It is important to read the description on the Nexus page! Just choose whatever texture size you like. But remember: The higher the resolution, the more the performance impact will be!
   
   For "Skyrim 2020": Please read the description page. The installation isn't complicated,
   but it is better if you decide what pack you want to take.

Part 3: ENB

For ENB I am using PI-CHO ENB - Konan Edition. The installation is fairly simple!

1. Download the latest ENB binary and copy the "d3d11.dll" and "decompiler_46e.dll" (inside the wrapper folder) to the Skyrim SE installation folder (where the .exe is).
   
2. Install "ENB Helper" and "Old Skyrim SE Shader Bundle to fix SSS in ENB on SSE 1.5.80"
   
3. Install ENBHelper.
   
4. Download Pi-CHO ENB and manually copy/paste the content of the folder into your Skyrim SE folder!
   
5. Check the following value in Skyrimprefs.ini. (Documents -> My Games -> Skyrim Special Edition
   bEnableImprovedSnow=0
   bToggleSparkles=0
   bSAO_CS_Enable=0
   bSAOEnable=0
   bUseTAA = 1
   bVolumetricLightingEnable = 1
   iVolumetricLightingQuality = 0 or 1 or 2 (choose according to your computer's
   performance low, Medium high)

• ENB Light
  Install what you like, but this one is really optional!

Part 4: Main Part

   Also download "Untranslated Plugins" from the "Optionals"!
   Check the following:
   Moonlight Tales: Do not install
   Optional Compatibility Patches: USSEP

   Download and Install in this order!:

   Choose what you like! Afterwards go to your Plugins and disable all SOS .esps!

   You don't need to do anything here. Just press "Next"!

If you are done, use "LOOT" to sort your mods!

Afterwards all you have to do is start your game and enjoy (Don't forget! You need to start the game now via the SKSE .exe!

Part 5: Relationships

One of my critical points ingame is that most relationships ingame (either love interestes or just friendly interactions) feel so cold and unpleasent. I tried to add some mods that will enhance your game in these regards.

   The standard animations of "XLab" are fine. You don't really need this, but it adds some spice to your "DokiDoki" time.

Ingame, you just have to go to your "Mod Manager" (Not the Bethesda one! Use the one that came with "SkyUI"!) and select "XLab". Aferwards you only have to press "Install". Close the menu and wait. The game will tell you when the installation is finished!

Hey i can not for the life of me get the mods to work properly. All i really want is Furry Age of Skyrim mod but it just wont work. I got in the game and the intro glitched out al of the place so i did alternate life mod and that fixed it but now my Character has no animations. He just T-poses and moves around. can you pleas help me?!
