All Endings (Main & Extra Chapters) [ENG]

This guide describes how to get all 54 endings (29 endings in Main Chapters and 25 endings in Extra Chapters) in this version of the game.

Chapter 1

True End (✯1)
1. Read the newspaper in Classroom 3-A.
2. Don't read all 5 Victim's Memoirs.
3. Escape from the black mist in the Infirmary.

Wrong End 1 (★2)
1. Don't enter Classroom 3-A / don't read the newspaper inside the classroom.
2. Escape from the black mist in the Infirmary.

Wrong End 2 (★3)
Allow the black mist to damage Naomi until her HP drops to 0.

Wrong End 3 (★4)
Read all 5 Victim's Memoirs. After the story events in Classroom 2-A, they appear in the following order:
- Classroom 1-A;
- Classroom 2-A;
- 2nd floor, near the 2F-3F eastern staircase;
- Classroom 5-A;
- Outside the Boys' Lavatory.

Chapter 2

True End (✯1)
Yui:
[Optional] At the lower part of Classroom 1-A, pick up the Power Stone and choose "Give it to Shinozaki".
Yoshiki and Ayumi:
1. Don't look into the eyes of the boy's ghost / don't let him catch Yoshiki and Ayumi.
2. Don't read all 5 Victim's Memoirs.
3. When Ayumi gets possessed for the 1st time, don't forget to pick her up at the Entranceway.
4. When Ayumi gets possessed for the 2nd time, go to the Girls' Lavatory (don't go to the stairs).

Wrong End 1 (★2)
Look into the eyes of the boy's ghost / let him catch Yoshiki and Ayumi.
Note: Power Stone saves you from this ending once, then shatters.

Wrong End 2 (★3)
1. When Ayumi gets possessed for the 1st time, don't talk to her at the Entranceway.
2. Activate two switches.

Wrong End 3 (★4)
When Ayumi gets possessed for the 2nd time, go to the stairs.
IMPORTANT: Power Stone prevents you from getting this ending altogether, even though it shatters after the first attempt. Either dispose of the Power Stone before going to the lavatories or don't pick it up at all.

Wrong End 4 (★5)
Read all 5 Victim's Memoirs. They appear in the following order:
- Next to a corpse outside of Classroom 4-A;
- At the Entranceway;
- Backroom in Classroom 1-A;
- Main Building 3F - East Hall;
- Main Building 2F - West Hall.
Note: Power Stone saves you from this ending once, then shatters.

Chapter 3

Note: You have to read the first two Victim's Memoirs in order to access most of the endings. ★2 is the only ending that doesn't have such requirement.

True End (✯1)
1. Take the Scented Beads from Yuka and don't look into the eyes of the boy's ghost.
2. Read only 2 out of 5 Victim's Memoirs.
3. Don't let the girl's ghost catch Yuka.
4. When Yuka decides that she has to hide, don't enter the Boys' Lavatory (doing so will get you locked inside and at ★3).
5. Don't walk on green goo before you get Blessed Shoes.

Wrong End 1 (★2)
Don't take the Scented Beads from Yuka and look into the eyes of the boy's ghost.

Wrong End 2 (★3)
Let the girl's ghost catch Yuka.

Wrong End 3 (★4)
Read all 5 Victim's Memoirs. They appear in the following order:
- Exit Classroom 2-A through the upper door, then go right;
- At the Entranceway;
- Inside the Boys' Lavatory;
- Second Wing: at the bottom of the western staircase;
- The room where Satoshi wakes up at the end of the chapter.

Wrong End 4 (★5)
Don't pick up Blessed Shoes and walk on green goo until the characters' HP drops to 0.

Chapter 4

True End (✯1)
Satoshi and Naomi:
1. Pick up Naomi's Cellphone on the stairs to the lavatories.
2. Save Naomi in the Girls' Lavatory (choose "Try to hold her up", "Hoist her up on shoulders", "Reach behind to unfasten").
3. Pick up Seiko's Cellphone near the red door.
4. After reuniting with Naomi, go to Classroom 5-A, collect the moving object (the Custodian Closet key) and use it on the red door.
Yoshiki and Ayumi:
1. Go to the Infirmary and pick up Cursed Doll.
2. Go to Classroom 2-A to reunite with Yoshiki.
3. Find all three tongues and give them to the corresponding ghosts. Without tongues, don't let the ghosts catch Yoshiki and Ayumi (Ryou Yoshizawa = boy, Tokiko Tsuji = headless girl, Yuki Kanno = one-eyed girl).
4. Don't let Ayumi drown in the pool and don't drain the water until Ayumi is rescued from the pool.

Wrong End 1 (★2)
Yoshiki and Ayumi: look in the eyes of the boy's ghost / let any of the girls' ghosts catch Yoshiki and Ayumi / give wrong tongue to any of the ghosts / choose to not give tongue to any of the ghosts.

Wrong End 2 (★3)
Satoshi:
1. [Optional] Pick up Naomi's Cellphone on the stairs to the lavatories.
2. Fail to save Naomi in the Girls' Lavatory.
3. Go to the supposed location of the corridor leading to the Second Wing.
4. [Optional] Pick up Seiko's Cellphone near the red door.
5. In Classroom 5-A, Satoshi must spot the moving object.
6. Go to the Infirmary and talk to Tohko.
7. Leave and reenter the Infirmary, then try to approach Tohko.
8. With no cellphones (or only one of them) in your inventory, answer anything to Tohko's question OR With both cellphones in your inventory, answer "Yes" to Tohko's question.

Wrong End 3 (★4)
Yoshiki: after receiving the Pump Room key near the pool, the time limit kicks in. Enter Pump Room and drain the water from the pool before time runs out.

Wrong End 4 (★5)
Yoshiki: after receiving the Pump Room key near the pool, the time limit kicks in. Wait until time runs out.

Extra End (★6)
The steps mostly match the Wrong End 2, except:
1. Naomi's Cellphone is required.
4. Seiko's Cellphone is required.
8. With both cellphones in your inventory, answer "No" to Tohko's question.

Chapter 5

Note: Unless you are going for ★3, I recommend against examining the anatomical model in the Science Lab. If you did it anyway, grab the key in the lower right corner of the Science Lab and use it to leave the room (all of that while avoiding the pursuers).

True End (✯1)
1. Don't let Kizami catch Yuka.
2. Yoshiki must agree to return to Heavenly Host with Ayumi.
3. IMPORTANT: don't let both parties meet on the third floor before you complete this step. Otherwise, you won't get a necessary event and the endings ✯1, ★2, ★5, ★6 and ★7 will become inaccessible. Now, onto the step...
Ayumi and Yoshiki: read all 5 Naho's Notes. They appear in the following order:
- Entranceway;
- 2F Center Hall;
- 1F West Hall;
- Science Lab (examine the bloody window to unlock the door);
- Classroom 1-A.
Once you do that, confront Naho in the Reference Room on the third floor. After the event, the Baby Statue gets added to your inventory.
4. Ayumi and Yoshiki: rendezvous with Satoshi's group on the third floor and give them the Baby Statue.
5. Satoshi, Naomi and Yuka: go to 2F through the rightmost door and activate the switch (in case you've skipped it, keep playing as Satoshi until you'll get forcefully switched to Ayumi: the same switch will appear on her path {1}). I won't mention this switch in other endings, just keep its existence in mind.
6. In the infamous bug pit, reach the end of the invisible maze within the time limit: 11 seconds! I recommend to drop a quicksave before passing through the very long corridor (below the red door).
7. At this point, Satoshi, Naomi and Yuka should have both the Marble and the Baby statues: use the statues to enter the Infirmary. On the way back, pick up the Black Cat Plushie. Only then proceed to the Second Wing.
8. Satoshi, Naomi and Yuka: pick up Sachiko's Tongue in the Principal's Office.
9. In the Abandoned Bomb Shelter, don't take Yuka to the lavatory (keep following the blood trail).
10. At the fork where the blood trail ends, go left.
11. During Sachiko's appeasement, give her only Sachiko's Tongue and Black Cat Plushie.
12. During Sachiko's appeasement, chant 6 times (for the seventh time choose "Don't chant").
13. Escape to the Second Wing before the bell tolls seven times (20 seconds before each toll, the total time limit is 2:20).

Extra End (★2)
The steps mostly match the True End, except:
9. In the Abandoned Bomb Shelter, take Yuka to the lavatory.
12. During Sachiko's appeasement, chant 5 times (for the sixth time choose "Don't chant").
13. Escape to the Second Wing before the bell tolls seven times.

Wrong End 1 (★3)
1. Don't let Kizami catch Yuka.
2. Yoshiki must agree to return to Heavenly Host with Ayumi.
Ayumi and Yoshiki:
3. Enter the Science Lab.
4. Examine the anatomical model.
5. Move to the lower part of the room and return to the exit.
6. Let one of the pursuers catch Ayumi and Yoshiki.

Wrong End 2 (★4)
1. Let Kizami catch Yuka.
2. All other endings are now inaccessible: continue through the chapter.
OR
1. Don't let Kizami catch Yuka.
2. Yoshiki must refuse to return to Heavenly Host with Ayumi.
3. All other endings are now inaccessible: continue through the chapter.

Wrong End 3 (★5)
The steps mostly match the True End, except:
9. In the Abandoned Bomb Shelter, either take or don't take Yuka to the lavatory.
10. At the fork where the blood trail ends, go left.
11. Satoshi, Yuka, Ayumi and Yoshiki: return to the fork where the blood trail ends and go right.

Wrong End 4 (★6)
During Sachiko's appeasement, fail to give her the correct items (give Naho’s Notebook and/or Mini-DV "Sin" Tape, don't give Sachiko's Tongue and/or Black Cat Plushie).

Wrong End 5 (★7)
During Sachiko's appeasement:
1. Give her only Sachiko's Tongue and Black Cat Plushie.
2. Chant not enough or too many times.
OR
Appease Sachiko correctly, but fail to escape to the Second Wing before the bell tolls seven times.

Wrong End 6 (★8)
1. Don't let Kizami catch Yuka.
2. Yoshiki must agree to return to Heavenly Host with Ayumi.
3. Ayumi and Yoshiki: don't read all 5 Naho's Notes.
4. Satoshi's group and Ayumi's group must meet on the third floor.
5. In the infamous bug pit, reach the end of the invisible maze within the time limit.
6. In the Abandoned Bomb Shelter, go left at the fork where the blood trail ends.

Wrong End 7 (★9)
In the infamous bug pit, fail to pass the invisible maze within the time limit.

Extra Chapter A (1-10)

Note: EX2-EX10 have only one ending.

Extra 1 - True End (✯1)
1. In the Boys' Lavatory, don't examine the first stall on the left and pick up Chihaya's Pouch.
2. Try to leave the lavatory, talk to the ghost, and only then go out.
3. Accept the ghost's request to find his glasses and hat.
4. When it's time to look for the hat, four red ghosts will appear on the third floor. You need to take the Infirmary key from the one who was at the lower right corner upon appearance. Don't touch the rest of the red ghosts.

Extra 1 – Wrong End 1 (★2)
When it's time to look for the hat, four red ghosts will appear on the third floor. The Infirmary key is in the possession of the one who was at the lower right corner upon appearance. Interact with any other ghost until the HP of Nana's group drops to 0.

Extra 1 – Wrong End 2 (★3)
In the Boys' Lavatory, examine the first stall on the left, pick up Chihaya's Pouch, then leave the lavatory.
OR
1. Don't examine the first stall on the left in the Boys' Lavatory and pick up Chihaya's Pouch.
2. Try to leave the lavatory, then either leave anyway without speaking to the ghost, or talk to the ghost but deny his request.

Extra 2 - Clear (✯4)

Extra 12 - True End (✯14)
1. At the Entranceway, don't let the girl's ghost catch Taguchi, walk through the three different spaces between the lockers {2} so that the note at the top right corner becomes bloody. Read the note and charge through the upper door.
2. In the Custodian's Closet, don't look into the eyes of the boy's ghost and go to the door above.
3. Check behind the door twice, then run away from Yoshikazu.

Extra 12 – Wrong End 1 (★15)
At the Entranceway, don't let the girl's ghost catch Taguchi, walk through the three different spaces between the lockers so that the note at the top right corner becomes bloody. Read the note and try to charge through the lower door.

Extra 12 – Wrong End 2 (★16)
At the Entranceway, let the girl's ghost catch Taguchi.

Extra 12 – Wrong End 3 (★17)
In the Custodian's Closet, look into the eyes of the boy's ghost.

Extra 12 – Wrong End 4 (★18)
1. In the Custodian's Closet, don't look into the eyes of the boy's ghost and go to the door above.
2. Check behind the door twice, then let Yoshikazu catch Taguchi.

Extra 13 – True End (✯19)
Choose "No".

Extra 13 – Wrong End 1 (★20)
Choose "Yes".

Extra 14 – Clear (✯21)

Extra Chapter C (15-16)

Note: EX16 has multiple endings, but only the True End counts towards the Ending List.

Extra 15 – True End (✯22)
1. Run away from the first wave of red ghosts on the third floor (run past them to the left and go to the second floor through the upper door).
2. Run away from the second wave of red ghosts on the second floor (go down).

Extra 15 – Wrong End 1 (★23)
Let any red ghost from the first wave (3F) catch Yoshiki.

Extra 15 – Wrong End 2 (★24)
Let any red ghost from the second wave (2F) catch Yoshiki.

Extra 16 – Clear (✯25)
1. When the time limit starts in Classroom 1-A, you'll notice two tables below the teacher's table: hide under the left table. {3}
2. Go through the Loose Board and take it with you.
3. In Classroom 2-A, pick up Ryoka's Student ID.
4. Enter Classroom 3-A and find the corpse in the bottom part of it.
5. When the time limit starts in the Girls' Lavatory, hide in the first stall on the left, then jump out of it when given the choice to do so.
6. Enter the Infirmary.

Naomi's Dream (Missable CG in Chapter 4)

1. Pick up Naomi's Cellphone on the stairs to the lavatories.
2. Save Naomi in the Girls' Lavatory.
3. Exit the Infirmary, return to the lavatories and examine Seiko's body.
4. Go to the supposed location of the corridor leading to the Second Wing.
5. Yoshiki and Ayumi: return the tongue to the boy's ghost.
6. Satoshi: pick up Seiko's Cellphone near the red door.
7. Return to the 2F East Hall: the Naomi's Dream event will start.
8. Answer anything to Seiko's request. Turning it down will end the dream immediately.

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

How do I unlock Chapter/Extra Chapter [insert number here]?

Just play through the chapters in order (CH1-CH5, EX1-EX16). Get all possible endings in a chapter before moving onto the next one.

I didn't get an achievement despite...

Stop right there. You came to the wrong place. This is the Endings guide. Its purpose is to help you complete your Ending List, not to get all achievements. There's only one thing I'll say on the matter: I personally didn't have issues with unlocking any of the achievements, but even if some of them are actually buggy, any complaints about it should be directed at the devs, not me.

Can I repost this outside of Steam?

As long as you give credit and (preferably) share a link to this guide, I don't mind. It's better to just share a link and don't repost the guide though. I occasionally update it, so any repost will eventually become obsolete.

"Naomi's Dream (Missable Event in Chapter 4)" - btw, if to try to visit Infirmary before picking up the cellphone, there will be another sub-event with its door closed and variants to leave or to open it by force.
Also, in Chapter 3, if you shout at Yuka in the class 2-A, she will be too scared to sleep at the Infirmary later and you won't see the scene with Yoshiki, can be also somewhat called a missable event.
