Also, I second user Skar last comment: the game gives you a plethora of relics to chose from in the end but they serve no purpose; After i beat the game there wasnt new game nor nothing of the sorts.
MY GUESS (and pretty much any other unanswered question regard this game) is that the Dev got sloppy, lazzy and insert other adjectives of the sort or just trolly (wich given the high difficulty of the game, and other bizarre scenarios like catching that damn elusive fish may be very well the case).
If anyone find out about that, I would love to know as well, but I have little to no hope as the game seems pretty much UNfinished or just trolly anyways.
I went back to the carnival after completing the Dark Maze and just hit A on the key tent, and it opened up. It has a Lost Egg inside, as well as a chest containing magic dust and a note reading "to my beloved"
The statues of the necromancer lie and the statues of Coco tell the truth, no need to guess which way to go!
It fell for me when I came out of my house after waking up at home on day 58. Since it seems to be tied to either being at the home camp map, or walking out of the house, the target date might even be a bit earlier, but probably not too much.
The only other thing I thought I should mention, is that, actually, I got the Golden Feathers I needed for notebook and Princess Starwen from the Carrion Crows in the Autumn Forest, with the Nature Shard on. I'm also playing as a Human, which, if I remember correctly, gets a +20% bonus to rare drops, so that may have affected things, and not just the shard's effect.
I've added the information you provided to appropriate spots in the guide- in the intro tutorial section and the side quests section for lost eggs.
Thank you very much!
On the screen with Chimera Castle, right at the entrance there is a fence on the left that looks like it goes all the way to the edge, but actually you can squeeze by it. There's plenty of basic stuffs nearby, valuable only to a fresh character, but in the far back, at the base of a tree next to the castle, there's a Lost Egg. It's hidden from view by a tall/large tree below it.
I have no idea how many hours I spent, but it's very rare. I was fishing at the starting location of the Nymbus Isles at bottom right. I also used powerbait. It was rain but not storm. I think that's pretty much it.
