Halo 3 Moa Statues

Intro

I'm not the only one finding these, there is a thread here if you wanna help others that are trying to find all the pesky moas :)


this guide from psychadelic adventurer has many more locations than this one, as it has 3 moas per level:

I'll add more of these locations when I find them, but apparently they are going to "refresh" weekly so I can only assume these will have a number of set locations that they will cycle through, only a matter of time till the community finds them all.

This little fella is hiding in a pipe overhead!

Crow's Nest

After leaving the first area, it's found under the weapon racks to the right of the main path.




When you go up the elevator and reach the jetpack brutes, at the top area in the control room there is another one near the cloaking pickups, between two weapon racks. Thanks to X for finding this one :)

Tsavo Highway

After passing the first dam, turn around and take a closer look!

There's another moa statue on the Crow's Nest. In the hangar room, if you go into the little tunnel area beneath the main hangar and walk all the way to the back, you can find it behind some crates.

I wonder if the newly released Halo 3 map editor has any insights on other statue spawn points? Potentially for the future.

@Gyrooo! there doesn't seem to be a greater unlockable, it's just for a weekly season point currently.
