How to play the game in VR Alpha Mode

VR in Tower Unite ?

The developers have added VR support (alpha) to the game as a new launch option. But it will not let you join a game server because it does not have any menu. So how do you join a game server?

First Step! Connect Your VR HMD

Of course, you have to connect your VR to SteamVR before opening the game.

Open the Steam Legacy Broswer

1. The legacy browser is at the View Tab of Steam Client. Select Servers
2. Select Tower Unite in Filter

Launch the game

Launch the game in VR Alpha mode.
Once you see it is loading, Ctrl + Alt to the server broswer and select a server to join and double click to connect.

In Game Controls

1. Hold Left Trigger = Run Mode
2. Click Right Trigger = Interact
3. Left Analog = Walk
4. Right Analog = Turning

There maybe more controls i don't aware, you guys may contribute here too.
The game seems to stuck if you interact with npc that will popup a dialog, so you should avoid interacting until the developers further improve the VR Mode.

I'm having the same problem. When I select a server, the join window opens and then just instantly closes. I can't interact with the join game window at all. Am I missing something here

I'm very glad they were lying when they claimed no VR support plans. I don't care if it takes forever, this game + vr would be the only metaverse we need
