How to CHEAT in Cookie Clicker & Basic commands

This guide will tell you how to CHEAT by modifying the local file.
This guide also will teach you how to use the console.
This is my first time to write a guide, Please forgive me for any shortcomings

How to launch the console

Remember to backup your game first

1.Find start.js
The location of the file ↓
X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cookie Clicker\resources\app

2.Open 'start.js' with any text editor (windows text document will do)
Use ctrl+F and search Find the following text
let DEV=0;//display menu and js console
Modify 0 to 1

3.save this file.

4.Rstart the Game
press CTRL+SHIFT+I on your keyboard to summon the dev control panel

5.Click Console


if you play this game in your browser, just simply open your web console.

The Basic Code

WARNING: Any code you use may make your game into a 'Extremely dangerous area', if you do not understand the rules of this game, please do not use any commands!

You will get an Shadow Achievement while you cheat to give yourself 1 cookie

Example:Game.Earn(1000000)
To generate 1 million cookies.

Game.cookies = <amount>
To change cookie amount

Game.lumps = amount
To set Sugar Lumps Amount

Game.dragonLevel =<level>
To set dragon level

Game.santaLevel =<level>
To set santa level

Game.milkProgress=<amount>
To Change your milk progress

Game.Win= ('<achievement name>')
To unlock achievement

Game.computedMouseCps = <amount>
To change your Cps

Cheating without use the console

Tired of modifying your local file? Here's another way to help you upgrade your game experience.

Simply change your bakery name to "AndsSaysOpenSesame".

Seems like it only be available on the web version instead of the steam version

Anyway, enjoy the Dev tool!

Export your save to the web version. Then import it to the steam version. Honestly, some of the achievements in this game are so fucking ridiculous I could never blame someone for cheating them in. Mathematician and Base 10 personally pissed me off

after testing i found out the Dev tool is only available on web version of this game somehow. It cant be used in the steam version

The game earn 1 doesn't work but infinity (and cancel) & sugar lumps does.
I couldn't have the Game.RuinTheFun though :( Too bad

I try to do Game.Earn (1) and it doesnt work? Ive trying removing the space too and changing the numbers but it just says undefined?

And just so you know, as it's not stated in the guide, to return the game to it's normal state, just return to the files and change DEV back to 0 and save. Have fun playing!

I broke the game by ascending. After I had ascended (with infinity cookies enabled) it would not let me buy any upgrades even after manually clicking. Kinda thought it funny too.
