Introduction
Sometimes even the Unofficial Patches don't cover everything, or a mod you've installed has caused some messiness to occur in the final stages of the Dragonborn DLC's Main Questline.

One such notable bug occurs late in the quest and involves the world of Apocrypha having an impassable space between you and two essential parts of the quest needed to progress.

I'll try to keep spoilers minimal, even if it's not really necessary at this point in time.

You'll know you're in need of this particular guide if you reach a space in-game that looks like this.

Let's get to working around this then!
Console Commands to Use
Simply put, once you reach the aforementioned roadblock to your progress (if you haven't, lucky you!), you might think at first to use the console command "TCL" (which toggles collision and allows you to clip around) to cross that pit of.. whatever that goop is, to reach an important word wall on the other side. DON'T. You'll more than likely get stuck as you reach said wall this way.

Instead, follow along and use these commands in order via the Console (you know, the one you access with ~ on the keyboard):

player.teachword 0401df95

This will teach you the word that is on that wall over there.

Next you'll need to enter this into the Console, as well...

setstage dlc2mq06 250

This will progress the quest forward in such a way that it registers you having read the word wall. Now you can use it's resulting shout to commandeer a Dragon to do your bidding, which is the only way you're gonna reach Miraak up on that summit there in the middle.

At this point, make sure to exit the console so the Dragon that appears gets to moving around. Aim at and shout at this Dragon to get him to land.

Heads up though, he'll only have a small space at the mouth of this rough space to land in, so give him some room by backing down into the room before it. He'll be kinda jittery, and may push your player character into the floor if you're not careful. Try to get on board as quickly as possible in this time.

If you get stuck in the floor (or worse, in the goop below it) there's still some hope, as you can use "TCL in the Console to make your way not only back to surface level but also at a spot where you can "Activate" the Dragon to ride it.

Once you've got your dragon mount settled, make sure to open the Console again and deactivate the "TCL" command if you have used it.

Conclusion
Having experienced this several times in my playthroughs (still not sure what causes it, either), I decided to compile this guide, and share the method with other players. If it's helped you, that's the part that matters.

Thank you for reading, and good luck beating ol' Miraak!

thanks, this helped me out. From what I read, this bug is caused by using the SSEdit autoclean on the Dragonborn esm
