Introduction
My recommendation is you play through the game your way as you want and use this guide as a reference when needed. Feel free to skim through it and just grab what you need. The quests and growth phases are really straight forward but you will probably want to check the Acts 1 and 2 for scroll locations.

What this guide is:
This will be a simple guide that points out everything you need to do to 100% this game. It will point out where secrets are and what you need to do to complete each area with high level walkthrough details so you can still have fun figuring out how to do things.

What this guide is not:
A step by step detailed guide that will hold your hand through the entire game with images or videos. I am sure there will be other guides for that.

Other Notes:
I will be playing on hard (Note that Hard mode gives the best XP for you and your Allies) so my combat tips and notes may change or be easier if you are playing on a lower setting. if this causes a problem let me know in the comments and I will adjust as needed. Note that you do not need to play it on a specific difficulty but if you plan to get all achievements playing on hard can help you be ready for special mode runs.

I will also be naming monsters and the like as I see fit. If a name appears on screen at some point I will try to use that one but for the regular enemies I will just be making up names that make sense for my brain. If I find official names in game I will update them.

The combat levels are designed to be played a few times to get the hang of where things are and want you need to watch out for. To that end my walkthrough will not be super detailed to the point of explaining every trap, monster, and item as figuring it out is part of the fun. If want a more detailed walkthrough this one isn't for you. I don't like posting screen shots or videos of boss fights as that ruins the excitement and fun for me when I play.
Starting Out and Tips
You can replay levels in this version so if you miss something you can come back and get it later. Also the scrolls no longer give you chances to cast spells but boost your HP and MP. You have MP you can use to cast spells now and it comes back. (in the original you had to use the scrolls to cast spells and once used it was gone). Feel free to cast freely.

In general, I will post tips and ideas at a high level. I do recommend playing on Hard if you are going for all of the trophies. This will maximize how quickly you and your allies level up (though you could do this late game if desired) and it helps you git gud.

Attack Phase Moves:
  • 3 attack forward thrust - If you attack three times and press the direction you are facing after the first two and hold for the third you will thrust forward and be invulnerable for a short bit.
  • Upper sword cut - hold up while attacking
  • Downward slam - while in the air hold down and attack
  • Duck - this reduces the damage you take and helps avoid things
  • Evade (back step) - jump back and become immune for a few frames. This is your bread and butter for avoiding things. I would highly recommend getting used to using this. This includes changing direction just to back step through things.
  • cast and evade - this is a little tricky but if you spam evade while casting, you can evade right at the end of the animation and take no damage; you can even hold the opposite direction and evade through enemies you were facing while casting. It takes a little practice but can be super helpful on bosses.

Growth Phase Moves
  • Attack - fires an arrow that will auto target enemies in a small area
  • charge attack - hold attack for a charged up attack that fires three arrows
  • Casting your rain and sun miracles will speed up or slow down (respectively) monster lair summoning

Attack phase Tips:
  • You should fight every little monster on the screen after the first time playing the first level (they drop crystals that will power you up and it makes a huge difference when facing the boss). So smash and kill everything.
  • Learn the move sets and how to quickly kill the monsters. Often being aggressive is best as attacks can prevent monsters from completing theirs so get in close without getting hit and spam attack.
  • The fireball spell is your friend. It does a LOT of damage and since your MP comes back after death or with pickups, feel free to use it fairly freely.
  • Once you reach max power level you will get a shield that lets you come back with half HP. You will probably want this for the boss so make sure you have it when you hit the last check point. If you lose it before the check point you will re-spawn without it.
  • The game will auto save at check points if you need to log off or take a break. You can use this to avoid a game over but it didn't save the scrolls I found correctly and was often inconsistent. Expect to need to replay the level if you load your game to a check point and need to find things.
  • If you are not going to use my guide, you can find most of the scrolls with a little effort put into exploring. There are only a few that can be tricky and only 1 I actually had a hard time finding and will point it out in the walkthrough. (it was late game)

Growth Phase Tips:
  • make sure you move over the same squares from different directions (up or down and left or right) so the roads go in all four directions. Sometimes you will need to and sometimes you won't.
  • Make sure you go back to the sky palace and save once in a while; you don't want to have to replay that last boss fight because you forgot to save.
  • keep an eye out for food and potions from your towns people that will also restore your HP and MP
  • You can amplify your miracles by hitting the miracle button again after you have selected one. You can do this twice for three tiers of effect (bigger area).
  • Killing enemies here is a must. It protects your towns people and gets your MP back
  • You can zoom in and out. You will need it for a quest or two and it could be nice to look closely at some things.

Settlement Siege Tips
  • You can build other fort buildings by going to build a fort and toggling (L1 and R1 with a game pad) to the others. It took me way to long to figure this out.
  • Don't be afraid to use your palisades and spells early. Items will spawn through out the siege granting you more
  • Move your hero (s) around to where he is needed most
  • It is okay if buildings get destroyed as long as you save the temple (or fail objective buildings)
  • Generally you will want to stack your gatehouses with towers that will damage things they stop.
  • It is impossible to fully protect your temple with defense structures so you will have to use spells and your heroes.
  • Durring sieges don't grab "pickups" until you need them. If you pick up food or potions while your buildings and angel are maxed HP and MP then they are wasted.

Most importantly, have fun!

Patch update notes:
I wrote this guide before several updates and changes and while I do try to keep it current, there may be things I missed.
  • some of the population requirements have been lowered (Aitos and Marahna)
  • The Marahna act 1 boss has been adjusted.
  • You can also now turn off the new combat moves to get closer to an old game feel (not recommended) but honestly, the new moves help the game move faster.
  • Angel outfits have been updated in cut scenes? (I didn't notice a difference)
  • You can now skip siege battles after finishing the game
  • Farming for monsters now requires you to hit a check point (scrolls seem to require you to kill the boss) (Thanks to Hunteil for pointing this out)
Fillmore Act 1
Character level = 1
Enemies:
Bird - Up attack and follow up swing. They will pause and dive down to you
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Orange Monkey - they jump at you. Evade and then attack three times
Wasps - easier to kill than birds but the slower speed could throw off your timing. They keep spawning form certain trees

Walk through
As soon as you start head left.

Scroll 1 - when the level starts go left and climb the tree

Continue to the right killing everything in your way. When you reach a place you can't jump up to be careful not to break the scroll statue and continue to the right.

Scroll 2 - you will walk under a elevated area that you cannot reach. be careful not to break the scroll statue and continue to the right a little ways. You will see a hill you can climb up and head back to the left with a log you can ride down to the area you couldn't reach.
** this is before you change screens

Change screens for a mini boss

Area 2
Mini Boss - Tree
Attacks:
fireballs - that shoot out in groups of threes
dropping pods - that spawn little monsters

Strategy:
Dodge the fireballs and use the up attack and follow up swings to hit the head. Then when the little bugs spawn, if you time it right, you can use a down slam to take them out. If you jump over the first fireball and start attacking right away you you can kill it before the second fireball

Once done, change screens for a check point

Area 3
Continue to the right until you ride a log down.

Scroll 3 - After the check point continue to the right until you ride a log down. Once on the floor head back left and you will find it in the underpass

Continue to the right and ride the tree statue over the spikes and be careful of the monsters. You can ride on the hands or the top. I find the top the safest to avoid the orange money at the end

On the next statue/tree ride on the top to get a MP scroll and to continue

Change screen for a check point

Boss fight - Centaurian (fix name)
Attacks:
Charge attack - he charges at you.
Lightning attack - he does lightning damage in a small area.

Strategy:
Use the platform to jump over him and attack him from behind while he performs his attach animations. If you time it right he wont hit you and you can do a good amount of damage to him. I found it best to stay on the far side of the platform from the boss in case he stopped moving to cast lightning giving me room to run and jump over him.

Congratulations! You have just finished your first level.
Fillmore Growth Phase
Enemies:
Skeleton Bats - One shot one kill and can carry away villagers
Blue Dragon - Two shots to kill and can shoot lightning to kill villagers and buildings

Walk Through
Follow the tutorial to help the village grow. Use your lightning miracle as you can to take out trees and help them grow further while using your arrows to take out monsters while they grow. I will list out the quests and events as they happen for me.

After a little time, the villagers will complain about monsters, once that happens you can guide them to take out the monster lair in the north west.

Monster Lair 1
Enemies:
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits
Blue goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Strategy:
Kill the monsters and attack the yellow orb nest to kill it as well. Continue to the right killing another yellow orb nest to spawn the real orb. Once it spawns things get a little hectic so I just jumped up and focused on it while dodging stuff as much as I could. Birds and other monsters started spawning quickly. I found that standing just to the left of the orb on the platform made this the easiest. I would jump attack and regular attack as needed to avoid being hit.

Continue growing and killing trees until you can learn how to build forts and follow the tutorial. Shortly after you can also start visiting your temple. This is also when the blue dragons will start spawning in the west and I had to put out some fires. (note that destroying the rocks in the south east don't seem to unlock anything in this version)

Quest - Foolish Mortals
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Philatas x 5
Description: Resolve your children's troubles
Use rain to put out the fires

Quest - a time for war
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x 2

Follow the tutorial and send your Philatas up to the north gate house and he will hold off the monsters and kill them. Save your lightning for groups of 3 or more. wait for entire groups to spawn to kill them all when possible

Quest - A Hero's Legend
Rewards: Faith +50
Description: Expose the Lair
I started building to the lair in the south to take that one out for this quest only to find out you have to take the one in the east. So Eastward!
Monster Lair 2
rewards: maximum fort increase to 4
Enemies:
Blue goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits
Super Baddies - charged up enemies seem to take way more hits to kill.
Strategy:
Note the purple orb nest took many more hits to kill. Once both are killed monsters spawn and you have to kill the real orb again. I took the time to kill the blue ans super brown goblin before starting on the orb. the skelly bats started spawning as well. This is also when I learned there is a timer so you have to work fast. [/spoiler]

Quest - A Blessing of the Harvest
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x2
Description: Collect three fruits when they show up
Accept the quest and collect the fruit as they spawn

Quest - The Strongest of Men
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x 4
Description: Settlement Siege
Settlement Siege 2
Strategy:
You can put all 4 of your forts in the south and west. Basically use your hero for small group and your lightning for bigger groups. My lightning didn't one shot the last groups but as long as you stack them up you should be okay. Don't be afraid to use palisades as well. I didn't have any block houses yet but that was more or less my mistake. Feel free to use 2 of each.

Quest - Cries from Within the wood
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x2
Description: Build 2 new block houses
You can build block houses by going to build a fort and toggling (L1 and R1 with a game pad) to block house. It took me way to long to figure this out.

Make your way to the monster layer in the south
Monster Lair 3
Rewards: Another fort

Blue goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Orange Monkey - they jump at you. Evade and then attack three times
Strategy:
Ride the tree and kill the yellow nests as you go. Watch out for the orange monkey and to kill the big Orb by stand to the right of it and up attack and down smash.

Quest - The Prudent Worry Not
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x2
Description: Build 6 or more workshops
This was done before I even got the quest. If you don't have this done try building out more or even leveling some houses and see if the towns people build more.

Achievement - One Angel Army
Kill 100 baddies
This unlocked for me here

This is also when I decided to start lightning bolting houses so they can build newer ones. Earthquake will also only target a small area now so lightning away. Either way don't worry about this to much for now.
Fillmore Growth Phase Part B
Quest - Discord
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x6 and Bridge building
Description: Settlement Siege
Settlement Siege 3
Strategy:
I placed one blockhouse to the NE of your temple and one to the SE. I placed my gates as close as I could to the north, west and south. I put the hero in the north since that gate wasn't covered by a blockhouse (there will be flyers).

Quest - Strife
Rewards: Faith +100 and Civ. Level +1
Description: Destroy the 4th layer

Monster Lair 4
Rewards: +1 fortification
Enemies:
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits
Blue goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Orange Monkey - they jump at you. Evade and then attack three times
Tree mini boss!

Strategy:
You have a little more time on this one so take the time to dodge and kill. work your way right killing the yellow and blue orb spawners and the tree. Once you kill the last yellow orb, kill the brown goblin that spawns on the same platform and work your way left. On the big Orb you want to stay to its left

Upgrade your fortifications and destroy old buildings and houses as often as you can to get everything up to level 3

Settlement Raid
While working on population and growth I got a my first Settlement Raid. these are not as scripted so just do what makes sense for you. Do have all of your fortifications upgraded. I had 3 of each building and left the west side unguarded.
Reward - 10 legendary chronicle for Philotas (The reward is always 10 legendary chronicles for the local hero unless otherwise stated)

Quest - A Hero's Birth
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x8
Description: Settlement Siege
Settlement Siege 4
Strategy:
I place the blockhouses to the NE, NW, and SW of the temple. I place the gates N, W, and S again all as close to the temple as possible. Just use your spells and move your hero as it makes sense and don't forget to sprinkle in the palisades

Quest - A Vision of Ruin
Rewards: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x10 AND your first spell: Radiant Fire

Settlement Siege 5
Strategy:
Same as Siege 4 for setup but once the boss comes out focus on him with your hero while keeping the minions away form your temple

I was at cap but just save up and turn this one in.

Quest - the Vow
Rewards: +250 faith and the Jewel of the King (lets you summon the local hero in other areas)
Description: Completed by finishing Act 2

End (after act 2) population - 362 (for now)
Fillmore Act 2
Character level = 2 (so close to 3)
Enemies:
Skelly Bat - they fly and sort of at you some times.
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Bone tower - it shoots fire at you and takes a couple hits to kill.
Brown goblin - with the daggers again
Rocks - Not really a bad guy but can drop crystals now so make sure you smash everything
Metroid crawlers - they crawl into you slowly so you feel dumb when they hit you
Red dagger bois - like the brown ones but can throw at an angle and take some extra hits

Walk through
Follow the path to the right and down. Note that monsters will now drop crystals that will power you up so you want those. You can also cast magic now. Once your at the bottom you can head left for HP then go right.

Go right through the water until you reach an area where you can jump up on some platforms. Climb those platforms to the top killing everything in your way.

Scroll 1 - When you reach the top gate (exit) in the first area, back track to the left a little bit and drop down then head right to get your first scroll.

Drop all the way back down and go right into the next dungeon area

Area 2

Continue on and drop down.

Scroll 2 - At the start of the second dungeon area when you first drop down, head left first to grab this one. (make sure you take the lower exit from area 1)

Follow the path and feel free to take forks for HP and MP statues until you come to a gate. If you see a ledge you can't reach, that is where you would have come in if you took the top gate earlier.

Area 3

Mini boss - Bone Dragon guy
Strategy:
he jumps at you and attacks a lot so be ready to back step while you fight him. Otherwise blast him with magic a few times and he is done.

check point

Area 4

In the next area you will quickly reach some platforms head down and to the right first.

Scroll 3 - After the check point head into the next area (area 4) and jump down and to the right for this one. Watch out for the spikes "hidden" in the boxes.

continue climbing up now but be careful as the traps in this area are devious. Watch for falling spikes and be extra careful when grabbing the second golden statue for MP or skip it if you don't need the MP. or get it from underneath

I maxed my crystals out just before the boss room.

Achievement - In glorious splendor, rejoice

Max your crystal gauge

Check point

Boss fight - Minotaurus
Attacks:
Axe throw - you have to duck under it and then jump over it.
Jump attack - He will jump up and slam down. if you are fast and run toward him you can get past him.

Boss Strategy:
Wait for him to finish screaming and blast him with magic. Try to stay closeish to him after that and get good at dodging his axe and jump attack; after a jump attack you an get some hits in if you are behind him. He will tire out once in a while too so you can land some good hits then as well. He will rage (scream again) later so don't try to hit him while screaming and you may want to save a few spells to finish him off faster once he rages. I didn't really notice much of a difference though.
Bloodpool Act 1
Charter level = 3

Enemies:
Hat Goblin - He throws rocks in an arch. easy to dodge.
Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back. (You normally cannot duck under them on the way out)
Orange bird - they fly a little faster than the earlier birds and don't dive at you but kind of zig-zag
Fish turtles - they will jump out of the water but are easy to kill

Walkthrough
Go to the right killing and smashing everything in your path and stay out of the water as it will drain your HP (but not kill you instantly). When you reach the first chance to climb up and head left feel free to take it for some more kills.

Continue all the way right

Scroll 1 -In the first area, once you can't go right any more (no more platforms) jump into the water and move a little left for this first scroll.

Now you can start climbing up and continue to the right then jump down. but DO NOT go to the next area just yet. Once on the bottom make your way left.

Scroll 2 - Once you make your way to the end of the first area head back left at the water level for this one.

Area 2

Once you reach the second area continue to the right killing and smashing. making your way up if you want some HP food. and continue to the right.

Once you can go up for the second time and back to the left do that. Take the highest path first then the middle path.

I achieved maximum power up around here.

Scroll 3 - in the second area when you can climb up and back track to the left you will find this one on the middle path. Be careful on the bridge as parts can fall.

Continue heading to the right until you come to the check point.

Check Point

Boss fight - Manticore
Attacks:
Shoots fireballs - that split into more fireballs
Jump attack - He will jump up high and land in the center or on the sides and then shoot several fire balls.
Pounce - He will jump around the stage rather quickly and it can be hard to dodge

Strategy:
Use the levels to your advantage and use your magic for damage here. I find the easiest time to damage him is when he lands on the top center. If you are at his back gravy, otherwise quickly jump down and come up the other side (or over him if your fast and close enough). Make sure you get him all on the screen and use your fireballs so they hit him multiple times. You should get two casts without issue. I also found it easier to dodge his pounce on the top by jumping. Lastly when he is on the sides I mostly just dodge or tried not to be on the same level if I couldn't be above or bellow him. You can also easily attack him from under him when the chance arises.
Bloodpool Growth Phase
Enemies:
Skeleton bats - One hit to kill an dis great MP fodder and can carry away people
Blue dragons - takes two hits to kill and casts dark lightning down to destroy things
Orange Demon - takes three hits to kill and casts fireballs down to destroy things and set crops on fire

Walkthrough
Quest - Chance Encounter
Reward - Faith +50
Objective: Drain 7 or more marshland tiles.
This one is self explanatory just use the sun miracle to dry up the marsh lands. If you power up the spell to level 3 you can actually hit all seven in one casting.

Quest - The Woman from Without
Rewards: Faith +50 and Bridge Building
Objective: Destroy the first monster spawner in the north west.

Monster Lair 1
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Red dagger goblin
Blue Goblin
Skelly Bat
Lizardman -

Strategy:
You have tons of time for this one so be careful. I started on the bottom right then worked my way up and to the left killing everything and dodging what I could. Then from the upper platform on the left side I killed the large orb spawner with magic fireballs from a distance.

Quest - River Marauders
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x2
Objective: Build 2 or more gatehouses
I built 2 gatehouses and two blockhouses

Quest - Magic
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x2
Objective: Endure the Horde's Assault

Settlement Siege 1
I placed one gate just NE of the temple and one just S. I then covered both with the blockhouses, one just N of the NE gate and one just W of the S gate. This worked really well for me. I used my caster hero in the north and old hero in the south and sprinkled in spells and palisades as needed.

Quest - Doubt
Rewards: Faith +50 and Civ. Level +1
Objective: Destroy the second lair

Monster Lair 2
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Red dagger goblin
Blue Goblin
Lizardman

Strategy:
work your way right with the killing and smashing then up and to the left. Once the big spawner spawns jump down (slam attack to kill a monster) to the left of it and hit it with a few fireballs until it is dead.

Quest - Bridge Repair
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x2
Objective: Build 5 or more workshops
I had this done once I started the quest but if you don't just keep building.

Quest - Runaway Teddy
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x4 and a Demonic Skull
Objective: Find Teddy
There is a cave entrance on the east side of the poisoned lake. Zoom in (using your trigger buttons) just west of the cave and place the Fresh Bread but be ready for the next siege before you do this.

Settlement Siege 2
You have to protect your Temple and an NPC this time
I left my setup the same as before but added one more of the blockhouses just NE of the temple. I left my caster hero down by the NPC and used my towers and spells to protect the temple until I could summon my second hero. Once I placed the second hero down by the NPC as well.
I ran out of MP near the end and had to move my heroes to the north to finish up

Quest - Food Stores
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x2
Objective: Gather 7 fruit from the fields
Just wait for fruit to spawn and pick it up but accept the quest so the fruit counts. Also I would let my self get hit as it seemed to help the spawn rate.

Quest - Trust
Rewards: Faith +100 and Fort Innovation - Magehouses
Objective: use the demonic skull on lair
Move to the liar in the SW and use the skull then get ready for battle

Monster Lair 3
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
BOSS - Manticore - Yeah you read that correctly

Strategy:
You can kill the yellow next to right as you start and then drop down and work your way left kill the second one and then use magic to destroy the spawner ignoring the boss. OR you can fight the boss using your magic to kill it for fun and then kill the spawner but you are not powered up so it will be a little harder than before. I used all of my magic and many attacks to bring it down but had plenty of time to kill the spawner.

Quest - The Castle
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x6
Objective: Endure the Horde's Assault
Get ready for the assault before accepting this one and note that if they destroy all of your fields you will lose.

Settlement Siege 3
You have to protect your Temple and your fields
I left my setup the same but added a mage tower near one of my fields and kept it as close as I could to the rest of my defenses. This will depend on where your fields are but use your heroes, palisades and spells to protect what you need to. Note that right away some flyers spawned from the east and move to attack fields. They also add magic resistant mobs that spawned in the north and went straight for my mage tower

I had to take some time here to grow and destroy all the old fields.
Bloodpool Growth Phase Part B
Quest - Resistance
Rewards: Faith +100 and Civ. Level +1 x6
Objective: Destroy the last layer
You can finally take out the last layer in the east

Monster Lair 4
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Red dagger goblin - Throws daggers and can throw them at an angle
Blue Goblin - runs at you to die
Blue Flying Goblin - new - he can fly and will try to drop down on you with his spear
Lizardman - - Throws his sword at you
Mini boss - SUPER Bone Dragon guy

Strategy:
use the platforms to destroy the yellow orb to your right and work your way to the right using the platforms to destroy everything on the top before dropping down. Kill the nests and monsters quickly and get ready for spawner. You don't have as much time as the others (still plenty though) so I ignored the mini-boss and blasted the spawner with fireballs from the platform directly to its right.

Make sure you build over where the last lair was when you get the chance. I also took the time to level all of my towers up to 3 before taking the next quest. Once you learn rice destroy fields as well

Quest - Strength in Sacrifice
Rewards: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x8
Objective: Finish the next siege

Settlement Siege 4
You have to protect your Temple and towers
One of each tower S of the temple and one of each to the NW of the temple with a blockhouse NE. The boss went straight for buildings and two shot them. Keep your caster in range of the boss (but don't get hit) at all times and pick up food in-between hits on buidings. It will be a close call either way. You can also use Philotas to tank a few hits. You have to watch out for monsters getting to your temple as well but I put down palisades to slow them down.

Quest - A new Reaper
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x2
Objective: Kill the monsters
Monsters will spawn in the east and you have to kill them with arrows

Quest - Faith and Fellowship
Rewards: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x10 and Penitent Ice
Objective: Finish the next siege

Settlement Raid
I was playing around and taking my time to rebuild and got a settlement raid.

Settlement Siege 5
You have to protect your Temple, Teddy and Magehouses
I left my setup unchanged (don't forget to rebuild) and moved my hero down to protect Teddy. I summoned my second hero in the north when I had the chance. This was much easier than the boss fight in Siege 4

Quest - Face of the Enemy
Rewards: Faith +150
Objective: have a population above 305
My population was at 502 by this point. I had destroyed everything and let it rebuild to level 3.

Quest - Torment's End
Rewards: Faith +250 and Jewel of the Warden
Objective: Finish Act 2

Population 502
Bloodpool Act 2
Charter level = 5

Enemies:
Statue - - shoots fire balls at you and takes a few hits
Skelly Bat - they fly and sort of at you some times.
Metroid crawlers - they crawl into you slowly so you feel dumb when they hit you
floating skulls - annoying and float around
Jelly - these red jellies jump around fast
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits
Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back.
Blue flying Goblin - They try to fly over you and drop down with a spear
flying skeletal cat - They move fast and lung at you while also having an attack with a strong reach. Evade then attack.

Walkthrough
Head right with the killing and smashing until you reach some moving platforms. Ride them all the way down first and head to the right. (if you see spikes blocking your path you are at the bottom)

Scroll 1 - Once you reach the first moving platforms on chains, head all the way to the bottom and to the left.

Once done head back to the platforms and ride them up and continue to the right until you have to drop down.

As you are working your way down keep an eye out for a golden statue that you will have to hug the left wall to get as you drop down. Then continue down and and eventually right into the next area.

Area 2:
Continue right until you reach the next area:

Check point

Area 3:
Continue heading right over the spikes and then down the stairs killing the statues on your way.

Scroll 2 - In the fourth area in the stairwell will the statues that shoot fireballs about halfway down behind one of the enemies.

Once at the bottom continue to the right fighting monsters and dodging traps until you can reach the next area.

Fourth area:
Continue to right until you are inside again and kill the cat monster. Once the gate opens up head inside.

Scroll 3 - After heading inside in the fourth area, kill the monsters and wait for the gate to open. once open head inside and all the way to the right.

Head back to the platform area just outside of the gate and start climbing up.

I maxed out my power while climbing up

In the top left of this area you will find an MP statue. Otherwise once at the top you can drop all the way back down and head to the right.

Check Point

Boss fight - Zeplin Wolf

Attacks:
Lighting - that will start at a wide arc and work its way to a smaller one underneath him.
Orbs - he will shoot out three orbs to a side
Teleport - when he teleport to a platform it will hurt if you are on it
Volcano Orbs - He shoots a bunch of orbs up that fall to the ground that you have to dodge.
lightning line - creates a horizontal line of lightning that crosses the entire arena
Super lightning - like the first lighting attack but also vertical lighting will hit areas farther away
Down kick - later in the fight he will kick down quickly and leave a lightning bomb
lightning bomb - after a down kick he will leave a "bomb" that will have a vertical lightning strike after a second

Strategy:
This boss has two phases. For the first phase you can use your fire balls to take him down quickly from a distance keeping in mind you will hover in the air when you cast them. Without magic you can wait for him to teleport to a platform and try to get a quick hit in before and after his attacks. Its tricky and on hard he does a lot of damage. After you 'kill' him he will turn into a wolf (now the name makes sense) and jump around the room. Honestly, I just stay close to him and attack him while dodging out of the way when he kicks. Try to stay under the platforms for this phase as he will land on them when he kicks.
Kasandora Act 1
Charter level = 5

Enemies:
Blue Spear Goblin - These blue goblins throw spears
Spiked vines - these large plants will poke up from the ground and once they sprout quickly shoot at you
Hat Goblin - He throws rocks in an arch. easy to dodge.
Fire demon - throws down fire from higher up
Blue Spear Goblin - These blue goblins throw spears
Falling - there are lots of chances to fall and lose HP in this level
vulture bugs - They will fly at you

Walkthrough
Start heading right and watch out for cactus as they can blend in to the back ground a little.

Feel free to climb up the first set of bones but When you get your first chance to jump up on to higher ground don't and instead continue to the right.

Scroll 1 - in the first area continue to the right and staying toward the bottom until you come across it.

After the scroll back track a little and climb up for more kills and continue to the right for the next area.

Area 2

continue right until you reach the first tower. You can go past it for a couple of kills and a MP statue. Once ready climb the first tower then continue right and climb the next set of 2 towers.

Climb all the way to the top and jump to the right

Scroll 2 - while climbing the 2nd and 3rd towers make sure you go all the way up and jump to the right to the next tower for this one.

carefully jump back down and continue to the right.

When you reach the next set of towers with bugs spawning bellow you carefully make your way down.

Scroll 3 - in the bottom on the east side of these towers (last set of towers in this area)

I reached full power here

climb back up and make your way to the right.

Check Point
Boss Fight - Dagoba
Attacks:
Spit bugs - Spits bugs up into the air
Claws - attacks from the outside in with claws that pop out of the ground
Jump - will jump up in the air and land to the side and rain bugs and attack from the side before moving back
gravity - the level will slowly pull you to the center where you will get hit if you touch the boss
reverse claws - attack from the inside out with the claws
Strategy:
I don't use magic for this fight as the delay while casting can cause problems but ice does do great damage. I attack it in the center and use back step through the claws to avoid them. I do the same things on the sides after jump. reverse claws can be hard to dodge but you can back step out of them if you are fast enough.
Kasandora Growth Phase

Description: guide the explorere to the glyphs
They are in the north west of the map. The bird with a rock in it. (remember this for later) Head west to the coast then north from your temple.

Quest - The Golden Fiend
Reward: Faith +50

Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
SUPER - flying skeletal cat - They move fast and lung at you while also having an attack with a strong reach. Evade then attack.

Strategy:
Kill the orb to your right and drop down. Kill the orb to your left and work your way right. Once you kill the last orb two super flying skeletal cats will drop down. I back-stepped and blasted them with a couple of fire balls before taking out the large orb with up attacks.

Quest - Pride in Craftsmanship
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x2
Description: Amass 300 resources
I more than had this when the quest started but if you need more just keep building out your city until you get it.

Quest - Heaven and EArth
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x2
Description: Finish the Siege

Settlement Siege 1
I set one gatehouse and blockhouse to the NE of the temple and 1 of each of the three to the E so the towers cover the gates. These are farther from the temple than I would likes so I used palisades where I could. This worked better than I expected as the attacks from the direct north, south and west were small and manageable with spells and my hero while the east and north east ones were bigger with flyers

Quest - Rain and Ruin
Reward: Faith +50 and Civ. Level + 1
Description: Destroy the next lair
Accept and move your city to the south east lair

Monster Lair 2
Reward: +1 forts
Enemies:
Spiked vines - these large plants that will quickly shoot stuff at you. Kill them fast
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back.
SUPER Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back.
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits

Strategy:
Drop down and to the left to kill the plant then work your way right killing orbs. Watch out for the super Lizardman and once ready climb up on the left side to kill the last small orb. Then I spammed fire ball at the large orb once appearred to kill it quickly

Quest - Dark Omen
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x2
Description: slake the thirst with rain
I cast a level 3 rain on the temple to catch everyone around it. I didn't get the chance to test a smaller cast.

I started leveling up everything to 2 via resources and property destruction

Quest - Monsters in the Dark
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x4
Description: Survive the Siege
Settlement Siege 2
This one will depend on where your resource buildings are but I I left the setup the same and added a mage tower to the NE so now to the NE and E I have one of each with a gatehouse flanked on either side with one arrow and one mage tower. When I can summon a second hero I go with Phil since he doesn't use magic and send him to the north when the magic resistant mobs start to spawn. The tornado spell did seem to hurt the floating skulls a good amount though and I definitely needed it.

Quest - Strange Compulsions
Reward: Faith +100
Description: take out the next Lair
Move to the next later. I took out the one in the NE

Monster Lair 3
Reward: +1 forts
Enemies:
Super bug boss - Yeah the bug boss but super version

Strategy:
Drop down and try to kill the boss if so desired making sure to leave the first orb alone as the second will be broken while fighting the boss. Otherwise move all the way to the right and break both orbs so you can kill the large orb. The large orb will move to a different location from time to time. I did kill the boss first but it didn't seem to make any difference

Quest - The Mercy of Gods
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x6
Description: Survive the Siege
Settlement Siege 2
I used the extra fort to build a mage house between my NE and E ones. The 'bell' didn't really seem to help much and I used Phil and spells again to take are of mobs that spawned or got behind my defenses. I am sure there is a better setup for this one but I still finished it on my first try. I will have to experiment on another play through

Quest - Defying Temptation
Reward: Faith +100 and Civ. Level +1 and Rice Cultivation
Description: take out the next Lair
Move to the last lair

Monster Lair 4
Reward: +1 forts
Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Super Baddies - charged up enemies seem to take way more hits to kill.
Bone tower - it shoots fire at you and takes a couple hits to kill.
Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back.
Spiked vines - these large plants that will quickly shoot stuff at you. Kill them fast

Strategy:
Drop down and kill the plant to your left then work your way all the way right killing everything in your path. I used the platform on the left side to stand on and just blasted the last orb with fireball

Start leveling everything up to three and make sure to destroy or fields so they can come back as rice.

Kasandora Growth Phase Part B
Settlement Raid
I had a settlement raid while leveling up everything to level 3.
It was short and easy. I did use a bell directly north east of the temple since there is an un-guard-able path straight north there. That way anything that comes in would get stopped. However, nothing made it that far.

Quest - For the New Fold
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x2
Description: build 3 Lv. 3 workshops
I had this already done long before the quest popped but make sure you destroy your old workshops so they can be rebuilt

Quest - The Power of Faith
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x8
Description: Finish the Siege with a Boss

Settlement Siege 4
Siege Strategy:
For setup I had a two identical group of 4 towers. 1 gatehouse, 1 mage tower and 2 blockhouses. I put one group to the North East and one group to the East of the temple. I reserved my bells for pulling mobs off of fields. This boss did not get past my first set of towers but a large group from the north almost made it to my temple. You can also use rain to slow down the burning of the fields. If I could do it over again I would have used more spells on the large group from the north.

After the battle you may have fields burning so check on that and put those out with rain. Don't forget to rebuild any forts that were destroyed as well.

Quest - Devine Melody
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x5 and Harmonious Music
Description: Gather 10 fruits from the fields
Start the quest so gathering counts and collect the fruit when they spawn.

Second Raid!
These have some randomness to them so you may not get one at the same time.
Raid Strategy:
I left my setup the same and summon Phil when I could. It was quick and easy.

Quest - Kind of Heart
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x10
Description: Endure the Horde's Assault
Settlement Siege 5
Siege Strategy:
For setup I had a two identical group of 4 towers. 1 gatehouse, 1 mage tower and 2 blockhouses. I put one group to the North East and one group to the East of the temple. I reserved my bells for pulling mobs but placed one just north east of the temple to pull them into tower range if any get through. I brought Phil in again when the time came. Otherwise I used palisades and spell liberally as needed but always kept 2 palisades in case I needed to replace the bell quickly as it was a game changer in this siege. I did need to move Phil to the south near the end to cover as there is nothing between the spawn point and the temple.

Quest - The Promise
Reward: Faith +150 and Wrothful Starfire
Description: Get a population above 500
If you have been working on getting everything to level 3 you should be as high as 802 when this quest starts

Quest - One Last Battle
Reward: Faith +250 and Jewel of the Warrior
Description: Complete Act 2

Population - 802
Kasandora Act 2
Charter level = 8

Enemies:
Skelly Bat - they fly and sort of at you and then fly away
Snake!!!s - they slither on the ground
Gold face - They are attached to walls and shoot in a horizontal direction. You can hit the arrows with your sword
Mummy - Tall TP wrapped blue goblin (walks toward you)
Eagle man - Will attack with a sword. Back step before moving in to attack with a combo
Purple Scorpion? - They will shoot at you and walk toward you
floating skulls - annoying and float around
Red Eagle man - Will attack with a sword and jump around.

Walkthrough
Start heading in a right like direction. (Go right) Head right until after the Mummies and you start climbing some stairs.

As you walk up those stairs watch for a large bolder on your right that will make you run back to the left. You need to run left until you have to jump up on to a small ledge. The bolder will break on this and you can continue to the right until you reach the next area.

Area 2
Continue to the right until you see golden platforms. Climb them first at a 45 degree angle for the lowest point you can reach using the platforms.

Scroll 1 - In area 2 climb the golden platforms you see as you enter but stay on the bottom path to find this in a little alcove.

Head to the left and right the moving platforms all the way up. You can head left at the top for a HP statue. Then use the platforms to to move to the right. You will quickly reach more platforms.

You could go all the way down for a gold MP statue if desired before heading up but personally I don't think it is worth it.

Use the platforms to head up and to the right. Once you reach the top there are moving platforms you can use to head left.

Scroll 2 - Once you reach the second set of platforms in area 2, you will need to make your way up and to the right and then back to the left for a floating platform.

Once you get the scroll use the platforms to head to the right and continue on.

Check Point

Area 3

Carefully head to the right until you reach some platforms and then climb up. Once you reach the top there will be a platform you can you to go higher along the left wall

This is where I reached max power

Once at the top head to the right. You will be locked into a room and have to face a bunch of mummies. I find it easiest to just stay to a side and kill them.

Scroll 3 - In area three after the climbing platforms up the first time (as high as they go) you will see a gap in the ceiling where a moving platform will follow the left wall. Ride that up and then face a horde a mummies. After that head to the right and collect your prize.

You can head to the right from here ignoring the platform down (this is where you would have normally come up) only to get locked into another room where you will have to face the Red Eagle Man and sort of a mini boss. I dodged out of the way and hit him a few times and finished him off with a single fireball.

Once done move to the right.

Check Point

Boss Fight - Pharaoh
Attacks:
Drop down - It drops down trying to crush you
Spin attack - it spins and chases after you
Magic orb - shoots a magic orb at you
Hop - A small jump to crush you from ground to ground
Flying spin attack - will start in the air and spin attack down to the ground in a zigzag pattern
Enlarge - quickly grows large filling the screen and shrinks back down
Enlarge Spin attack - grows and spin attacks

Strategy:
I run under it when its flying to get it to drop down behind me and quickly land several hits. If it starts up a spin attack I start to run away so I can back step through it. You can back step away from the hop, through the magic orb and way from the enlarge. The flying spin attack is hard to dodge but if you have room enough to run to a side you can and the enlarge spin attack I only saw once but it was fast enough that a back step through it might work. Fireballs also work wonders here.

Aitos Act 1
Player Level - 8

Enemies:
Blue Spear Goblin - These blue goblins throw spears
Hat Goblin - He throws rocks in an arch. easy to dodge.
Black hat Goblin - throws large rocks in an arch and moves faster than hat goblin.
Gravity - Don't fall
Crows - fly straight at you
Hovering skulls - they just hover in place but explode when killed. Max sword distance is okay
Rock hands - pop out of the ground and throw rocks at you.
Enhanced Eagle-man shaman - they attack you with tornado while flying around and dive attacking

Walkthrough:
Go right until you reach a platform carried by birds. Hop on and ride this. You can jump off to collect and kill but you have to jump back on quickly.

Once the ride is over continue to the right and start climbing up the first platform but continue to the right and fall off.

Scroll 1 - after riding the dove platform to conclusion keep heading right and fall off of the far right edge.

Continue climbing up to the top until you see another floating platform you can ride and hop on.

Scroll 2 - near the end of the first area there is another floating dove platform you can ride back to the left. This will be at the end of that ride

Ride again back to the right and continue on.

Area 2
Mini-Boss - Two Enhanced Eagle-man shaman
The two enemies you face in this area are tough. Try not to move to far right so you can fight them one at a time. They shoot tornado, fly at you, and some times dive at you. They do a lot of damage on hard and take several hits to kill.

Once defeated continue to the right.

Checkpoint

Area 3

Continue all the way to the right to pick up a gold HP statue before climbing upward.

May your way to the top and head to the top left.

Scroll 3 - After climbing up to the top of area 3 head left to find a floating platform with this scroll.

Continue all the way the right.

Checkpoint

Boss Fight - Azure Dragon
Attacks:
Shoot three magic balls - Shoots three magic balls at you
Triple triple shot - shoots three sets of three balls
tail swipe - swings his tail at you in a large arc

Strategy:
The easiest thing to do is to go all the way to the left of the arena when you can and stay on the higher platform. Jump over tails when needed and blast away with fireball. The normal way is to dodge the attacks and swing at its face when you can between attacks when possible. You can jump over the magic balls and tail swipes but when he multi-attacks its best to move away. On the far left platform the only thing that can reach you is the tail and because you are higher up you can jump over it.
Aitos Growth Phase
Enemies:
Blue dragons - takes two hits to kill and casts dark lightning down to destroy things
Gold dragons - takes three hits to kill and casts dark lightning down to destroy things
Golden Skulls - Slams face first into the ground destroying a small area. Takes 5 shots to kill

Quest - The Chieftain
Reward: Faith +50
Description: Clear 12 tiles
Lightning trees and rocks to clear 12 tiles

Quest - To Hone the Body and Mind
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x2
Description: guide the city to a large mountain
You have to remove the lair in the NW first and move into that spot

Quest - Restless Spirits
Reward: Faith +50
Description: guide the city the lair
I moved them to the newly activated golden skull lair in the NW so I could complete the previous quest.
Monster Lair 1
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Black hat Goblin - throws large rocks in an arch and moves faster than hat goblin.
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Blue flying Goblin - They try to fly over you and drop down with a spear
Enhanced Eagle-man shaman - they attack you with tornado while flying around and dive attacking
Strategy:
Move to the right to clear the orb on the floating platform and then work your way to the bottom left carefully. From there work your way to the right. Once the big orb spawns start killing it. If it teleports away watch out for the Enhanced Eagle-man that can spawn. I ignored it and finished off orb with fire ball.

Quest - Shrine of the Forgotten
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x2
Description: Amass at least 200 resources
Build as much as you can and collect as possible

Quest - Violent Blessing
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x2
Description: Endure the Horde's Assault
Settlement Siege 1
Siege Strategy:
I built a gatehouse to the north of the temple and to the east of the temple. I then placed my blockhouse just north east of the northern gatehouse. This protected from the entire north half of the map. Once monsters started spawning to the east I summoned Daniella for this one but anyone should work as long as you play to their strengths. When the last large phase hit I used bell towers one at a time on the east side to keep things off of my temple and used spells in the north to thin them out and slow them down.

Quest - A Prayer for Mercy
Reward: Faith +50 and Civ. Level +1
Description: guide the city the lair
I took out the NE lair so I would only have to cover the SW for now
Monster Lair 2
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Azure Dragon - Yep same as the boss fight
Strategy:
Care of the two orbs if you want to kill the boss first. Once done or while ignoring the boss, kill the large orb and feel free to use fireballs. You can also leave the crates in the bottom left until you need the HP. I blasted the dragons face with fireballs until it was dead.

Quest - Fiends of the Wastes
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x2
Description: Build 4 forts
Built your 4th fort. I put a mage tower up that covers the northern gatehouse. This is also when I leveled everything up to level 2.

Quest - Flesh and Soul Apart
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x4
Description: Endure the Horde's Assault
Settlement Siege 2
Siege Strategy:
I added a mage tower to the north and left everything else alone. You can't let all of your forts get destroyed or your temple. I used bells to the east and west but I think that was a mistake as everything just went to my forts in the north and it was easy to kill everything up there. For summons I brought in Phil to take hits if needed and the mage for damage.

Quest - Culinarian's Gambit
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x2
Description: collect 7 fruit
This popped up after the next lair quest but before I completed so your order might be different. Either way accept this quest and collect fruit.

Quest - Mount of Fire
Reward: Faith +100
Description: Next Lair
I took out the golden dragon lair in the south
Monster Lair 3
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Skeletal Archer - Jumps back and shoots arrows. Attacks do not stun him as hard and he takes a few hits.
Super Enhanced Eagle-man shaman - they attack you with tornado while flying around and dive attacking
Strategy:
Focus on killing the archer first and as you take out the orbs other monsters will spawn. Leave the yellow orb on the platform so you can cast and attack the archer freely. I chose to try and ignore the Eagle-man because I hate those guys and there isn't a huge amount of time here; I then used magic to take out the orb.

Quest - The Coward's Shame
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x6
Description: Endure the Horde's Assault and protect the hero and workshops
Settlement Siege 3
Siege Strategy:
I put an arrow tower and mage tower on the gate to the north. I left the west wide open and put a mage tower and arrow tower to the east where I knew I could place a bell near a work shop. I did destroyed my workshops to hopefully get them to spawn in a better locations mostly south of my temple. (you have to have at least 1 to start the quest as I tried to see what would happen if you started with 0) You will get attacked from all three sides quickly and monsters spawn fast. Use your hero to take the east side; she can handle it by her self. I ended up putting Phil in the SW to help out and the mage lady in the north to help the towers up there. It was still close. This was the first Siege I had any trouble with and had to try a few different things before I finished it.

Quest - Tears of the Lord
Reward: Faith +100 and Civ. Level +1 and Rice Cultivation
Description: Take out the last lair
Move to your last lair

Monster Lair 4
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Black hat Goblin - throws large rocks in an arch and moves faster than hat goblin.
super Red dagger goblin - like the brown ones but can throw at an angle and take some extra hits
Strategy:
You can ignore the moving platform and head to the right killing orbs and monsters in your path. Once you get to the end you can jump up killing more orbs and monsters. Once on the top the large spawner orb will spawn. I stayed to the right of it and attacked it until dead. Other months will spawn including a eagle-man but I ignored them to finish the orb. If you are not fast enough and the orb moves just jump down and use spells to finish it off.

To finish the quest you will have to go through a cut scene and cast rain on your temple.

Now it is time to destroy everything and rebuild it to level 3.
Aitos Growth Phase Part B
Settlement Raid
While leveling up everything to three I got my first raid. I left my 3 buildings in the north and had 2 arrow towers and 1 mage tower in the west. I left the east open.

Quest - A Hero Once and Always
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x8
Description: Endure the Horde's Assault and hero can't die
Get ready for the next assault and ensure you have everything built up to level 3.
Settlement Siege 4
Siege Strategy:
I left my setup the same as last time but added a tower to the west so I had one of each in the north and two arrow and a mage tower in the west. I used two bells in the west right away to draw monsters into my towers and filled the north with palisades to slow anything down that spawns up there. When the time I summoned Dan first for her AOE and moved her to the north as well. I eventually used my 3rd bell in the east and summoned Alonso to help with the flyers. I lost more than I planned but it worked out in the end.

Quest - Windmils Stilled
Reward: Raith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x5
Description: Restore the breath of Aitos
Cast wind on one of our workshops

Second Raid
I got my second raid while rebuilding everything for the the next siege. I build a gatehouse in the west so I now have one of each building in the north and west.

Quest - Magic's Torrent
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x10
Description: Endure the Horde's Assault and hero can't die and gatehouses can't all be lost
Get ready for the next assault and ensure you have everything built up to level 3.
Settlement Siege 5
Siege Strategy:
I build a gatehouse in the west so I now have one of each building in the north and west. I put my hero in the east since the boss is a flyer and put one bell in the N, E and W. I summoned Al first and put him on the boss then the same with Daniella. I saved food for healing buildings and took the boss down in the north.

Quest - Stand Fast
Reward: Faith +150 and Blessed Respite
Description: Sooth the volcano
Cast Rain on the volcano (need to use level 3)

Quest - The Depths of the Inferno
Reward: Faith +250 and Jewel of the Matriarch
Description: Descend and defeat Firewheel
Finish Act 2.

Population 502
Aitos Act 2
Player Level - 10

Enemies:
Lava - if you fall in it you will take a good amount of damage
Lava bombs - Lava will sometimes splash out of the lava pools and sometimes explode
Purple Spear Goblin - Can jump and throws spears
Blue Spear Goblin - These blue goblins throw spears
Floating eye - moves slowly in the air until hit then moves fast
Brown goblin - throws red daggers in a straight line. avoid and kill when needed. Takes several hits
Skeletal Archer - Jumps back and shoots arrows. Attacks do not stun him as hard and he takes a few hits.
Red Flying Goblin - These are like there blue counter parts but faster and recover faster once they attack
Walkthrough:
Start heading right with the killing and smashing until you have to go down some ramps. Then continue to the right.

Area 2
You will see floating platforms you have to carefully nagivate while heading to the right and up. Once you jump down you will be locked into a room with a skeletal archer until it is defeated.

Continue to the right.

Check Point

Area 3

Continue to the right until you see a face that spits fire.

Scroll 1 - in Area 3 when you see a face that spits fire, climb up on some platforms that lead to the left and you will find it.

Once you have this scroll drop down to your left.

To your right is a pit you jumped over before. Now wait for the moving platform and start making your way down.

Once at the bottom make your way left

Scroll 2 - in Area 3 after jumping down from scroll 1 jump down the pit that doesn't have lava in it and at the bottom head left.

Now start working your way to the right.

This is where I reached max power

Area 4
Use the platforms to start climbing up but be care as they will break after you land on them.

Scroll 3 - Once you reach area four and climb the first set of crumbling platforms it will be on your right. You have to go that way.

Continue to the right and head through the gate.

Area 5 (back to area 3)
This is where you would have dropped down if you didn't go in the pit to get scroll 2 and 3. Continue to the right and fight the archer to move on.

Check Point

Boss Fight - Firewheel
Attacks:
Bounce - he will bounce around
Jump - He will jump up and slam down
spit fire - can spit to the sides or even down
Fly and spit - he will fly across the top of the screen and spit fire down

Strategy:
I used the side platforms for cover when he was jumping around and attacked with the sword when it would stop on them. I would also use ice when it would land on the ground level. Back step was great for dodging everything here and the platforms would protect you from the jump attacks. Don't use fire spells on this one.
Marahna Act 1
Player Level - 11

Enemies:
Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back.
Orange bird - they fly a little faster than the earlier birds and don't dive at you
Blue slime - they jump up and shoot out a little slime
Blow Dart goblin - shoot darts at you or throw a bomb
tiki totem - It will jump at you or it will be stationary and shoot arrows
Spear demon - jumps around quickly and attacks with a spear
Snake!!!!! - its a snake

Walkthrough:

Head all the way to the right until you have to climb up some platforms. Then climb to the top of this building.

Scroll 1 - Once you climb up a building in area 1, use a log ride and several platforms to head back to the left to collect this one.

Return to the top of the building but head right this time.

Once you head all the way right you will see a hole in the floor. Carefully jump over it if you wish to collect the statue and then jump down.

Make your way all the way to the left for a golden MP statue before making your way down to the next floor and head right.

Scroll 2 - in the first area when you start climbing down floors inside of a large structure near the end, you will find this a couple floors down.

Now head all the way to the left and drop down to the next floor into the water and head to the right. Careful of the spear demon and once defeated continue on to the right.

Area 2
Continue heading to the right until you climb up some ruins. Once on the top stay on the top and continue to the right until you can climb up farther.

Scroll 3 - In area two stay on the roofs of the buildings until you can climb up the last building for this one.

head back to the left and jump down to kill more if needed to reach max power and then head all the way to the right.

I reached max power here

Check Point

Boss Fight - Rafflasher
Attacks:
Bite - the plants will reach out to bite you
Whip - the vines will come up from the water to attack you
Flare - a fire orb will come out and move horizontally around the arena and will shoot fire spikes out in the cardinal directions

Strategy:
Use the higher platform to shoot fireballs at the boss. If the water starts getting turbulent jump back to avoid the vines. Use the left platform to help jump over vines and the Flare orb. When safe continue to shoot fireballs from the higher platform until the boss is dead. You can attack the plants and jump up to attack the body when its safe if so desired.

Note that there have been posts about this boss being much harder on a first play through and there are release notes about it being adjusted. If anyone has an updated strategy please let me know.
Marahna Growth Phase
Enemies:
Blue dragons - takes two hits to kill and casts dark lightning down to destroy things
Gold dragons - takes three hits to kill and casts dark lightning down to destroy things
Blue Demon - Takes three hits to kill and destroys stuff with fire but attacks quickly

Quest - The Consecrate Green
Reward: Faith +50
Description: clear 10 tiles
Use lightning to clear 10 tiles

Quest - Faith and Tolerance
Reward: Faith +50
Description: take out your first lair
I moved to the lair to the east that spawns two monsters at a time
Monster Lair 1
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue slime - they jump up and shoot out a little slime
Blow Dart goblin - shoot darts at you or throw a bomb
tiki totem - It will jump at you or it will be stationary and shoot arrows
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Strategy:
Jump to the right and take out the yellow orb then climb up and take out the next yellow orb and then jump down and kill the only one left. The big orb will move left to right this time so use spells and attack it until it is dead. I mostly ignored the spawning enemies after it was attack-able.

Quest - Thirll of the Treasure Hunt
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x2
Description: clear more area and expand
Continue to grow your town; this will not be complete-able right away (it will be a while and is not bugged)

Quest - Temple in the Woods
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x2
Description: Siege
I had nothing built at this point so wait until you can build your three forts.
Settlement Siege 1
Siege Strategy:
Build a gatehouse, blockhouse and mage tower south of your temple. The flyers will attack the gatehouse and the other monsters will have to come this way. Move your hero down there and feel free to use rain on the fire monsters. I also used a palisade in the south west to slow them down. I brought Migrana in for my second hero and brought her down on the walkers (they can destroy your gatehouse) also feel free to use earthquake on the walkers. For my third hero I brought in Daniella to help with the flyers.

Quest - Preparing for the Plague
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x2
Description: reach a population of 100
grow the city. I was at 122 when this popped up

Quest - Blessing of the Devin
Reward: Faith +50 and Civ. Level +1
Description: take out your next lair
I moved to the lair on the north side of the island
Monster Lair 2
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blow Dart goblin - shoot darts at you or throw a bomb
tiki totem - It will jump at you or it will be stationary and shoot arrows
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Strategy:
work your way to the right killing everything and then up. Then work your way to the top center. Once you kill the last orb one of those spear demons will spawn and this orb is high enough that you can't just spam magic. Use jump attacks and jump to cast spells as needed.

I destroyed everything so it could come back as level 2. This is also when I cast earth quake over the water to the north east to create a land bridge to expand to the next island.

Quest - Tete-a-tete
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x4 and bridge building
Description: Siege
Protect your temple and fields
Settlement Siege 2
Siege Strategy:
I left the same three buildings as last time. I summoned Alonso for my first Hero to help with the east where I placed a single palisade. I grabbed Daniella for my second hero and placed her on the defenses to help with everything. You could have added another arrow tower to the area as well but this siege was much easier than the last.

Quest - Proselytism
Reward: Faith +100
Description: take out your next lair
Use the bridge to move to the lair in the south west.
Monster Lair 3
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Boss plant lady! - like the one you just killed in the last level
Strategy:
Head to the right and you can try to leave the orb and kill the boss first for the challenge (this is what I will do) or pop the orb and quickly kill the actual spawner. Note though that this spawner will also move all over the place.

Quest - A Farewell to Our Lord
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x6
Description: Siege
Protect your temple and fields
Settlement Siege 2
Siege Strategy:
This one took me a couple tries. I had one gate house just to the south with a mage tower and arrow tower. To the north of the temple I built a mage tower and arrow tower. The bulk of the baddies went strait for the northern mage tower so I kept it alive as long as I could. I brought in Al first and then the mage after. I used rain on the fire baddies when they showed up and used wind to help slow down and control the rest of the fliers. If you are struggling it might be worth it to sell your gatehouse and put up another mage tower for this fight.

Marahna Growth Phase Part B
Quest - A Disturbance in the Green
Reward: Faith +100 and Civ. Level +1 and Rice Cultivation
Description: Use Sunlight on black miasma
Cast level 3 sun on the green temple just west of your temple and then move to the last lair

Monster Lair 4
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue slime - they jump up and shoot out a little slime
Tree Mini-Boss - Same one as act 1 of Fillmore
Blow Dart goblin - shoot darts at you or throw a bomb
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Spear demon - jumps around quickly and attacks with a spear
Strategy:
Take out the tree before taking out the orbs from left to right. Some more monsters will spawn. Kill the ones in your way and then work your way to the top right and take out the spawner. It will relocate and monsters will continue to spawn. Use the heal spell if needed.

Time to smite the non-rice non-level 3 buildings and level up your defenses. It will take a bit on this small island.

Raid
I got my first raid while leveling everything up. This this land's hero is one of my favorites I wanted to get a couple of these if I could. I just let my defenses as is and added a gatehouse to the north.

Quest - Forgiveness
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x8
Description: Siege
Protect your temple, home and hero
Settlement Siege 3
Siege Strategy:
I started with the same setup as the raid; one of each tower in the north and south but after I failed I moved my arrow tower to the south. I used a bell and the hero in the east until I had to move her in the south. I used earthquake on walkers that hit hard and summoned Phil first to help tank and brought Migrana in second. (passive bonus to attack speed worked with the healing of buildings from Shemaal) This three man team rocked and made this fight WAY easier. The downside to this team is limited flyer control but that did not matter for this siege

Completed Thrill of the Treasure Hunt shortly after this last siege

Quest - Deliverance
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x10 and Retributive Aura
Description: Siege
Protect your temple, home and hero
Settlement Siege 4
Siege Strategy:
I but all of my towers in the south except one gatehouse I placed in the east. if you want you can destroy that and put another arrow tower in the south. I used the same combination of heroes summoning Phil and then Migrana. I lost more buildings than I would have like but I did win. Use bells to slow down the non-boss monsters as needed.

Quest - Atonement
Reward: Faith +150
Description: Population 250
Replace level 2 stuff with 3

Quest - The Fishermen's Behest
Reward: Faith +250 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x2
Description: Amass 300 resources

Quest - A More Potent Medicinal Herb
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x2
Description: Have 3 level 3 workshops
If you have built out all the way you should have 3

Quest - The Morrow's Light
Reward: Faith +250 and Jewel of the Patron
Description: Complete Act 2

Population: 302
Marahna Act 2
Player Level - 14 (I did a little revisiting)

Enemies:
Blue flying manta rays - they will fly around and dive at you
Red lizard with tail - he will bounce at you and move quickly in one direction. They can also spit fire
arrow faces - they will spit arrows at you
Snake!!! - they snake
reaper - it will float to you and attack
Evil monk head - will fly away from you while shooting at you

Walkthrough:
Head... wait for it... left! You will eventually come to a hole in the ground. Jump in for an elevator ride.

Once the elevator reaches the bottom head to the right until you reach the floating platforms and jump down between the last two.

Scroll 1 - in Area 1 after the elevator ride you will have to jump on some falling platforms. This is on a platform just bellow the second to last platform.

Head to the right

Check Point

Area 2

Head to the right and start climbing down the platforms.

scroll 2 - while climbing down the platforms near the start of area two it will be against the right wall about half down.

Continue clearing out monsters and working your way down. Near the bottom there will be an opening on the left side. Head left.

There will be moving platforms you can jump on. Feel free to use them to reach the platform in the middle for some HP before using them to exit to the left.

Area 3

Head left then drop down and head to the right. (you will see where you would have come in if you to the left path back in area 1)

This is where I reached full power

You will come to a gate that will you will have to kill some monsters to get through. Once done continue to the right.

Check Point

Boss Fight - Kalia
Attacks:
drop spiked platforms - will swing a sword and drop these to the ground
bombs - will shoot out bombs that will fall to the ground and explode in a small area
Fly around - will fly around in a swooping pattern
spinning fire - will summon fire orbs to spin around its self
big bomb - will shoot straight down and an explosion will cross the arena
bounce - will bounce around the arena
Strategy:
The Aura spell you just got makes this fight super easy. Just jump up and cast it when the boss isn't moving and it will hit for good damage. Since it doesn't move fast and you don't take damage while casting it makes everything in this fight a joke. Otherwise use your up attacks to hit the boss when it is dropping platforms and while you are chasing it during swoop. It may come to the ground for a while giving you time for several hits as well before bounce.

Scroll 3 - You will have to play through the level again but head left this time at the end of Area 1. This is a mirror of area 2 so continue on until you reach the floating platforms. This time the gold statue in the middle will be the scroll.
Northwall Act 1
Player Level - 17 (I completed and revisited the other 5 lands)

Enemies:
Birds with rocks - they will fly over you and drop rocks
laser statue - they will shoot lasers at you twice in a row
mini Frost giant - they will throw axes at you and can block your attacks
Blue bat - its a bat but blue
blinking eye - it will disappear and reappear

Walkthrough:
Head right and eventually the path will slope downward to the right and eventually up and to the right. Continue to the right until you reach the next area.

Area 2
Head to the right and make your way to a series of floor tiles that fall away after you step on them.

Scroll 1 - in area 2 you will reach a long line of tiles that disappear. in the middle you will see the golden statue just under a platform. Carefully fall under to the golden statue.

Continue to the right until near the end you will see a pit you have to jump over. (if you see the exit you have gone to far) Jump down.

Head left first for some kills and then use the platforms and head to the right.

Scroll 2 - near the end of area two you can drop down a pit and ride some ice platforms to the right. Here you will find it.

Once you collect scroll 2 head back to the left to where you fell down and wait for a platform to take you back up and continue to the right.

Area 3
Continue to the right. You will see some ice falling from the ceiling that you can ride. Once it jumps the ramp jump back and to the left to the second platform you can land on. Climb these platforms and head to the left. Fight your way all the way left.

Scroll 3 - In area 3 you have to ride some ice over a pit. As you are heading over you can jump back to your left to some platforms you can them climb up. Once up head to left and fight your way to this scroll.

Once you have the scroll head back to the right and climb back down to where the moving ice was and this time ride it all the way across.

Jump on the next group of platforms and climb to the top. Quickly head to the left for a normal statue and make your way to the right.

Check Point - finally

Boss Fight - Merman Fly
Attacks:
Fly around - he can swoop down to hit you with his pathing
Attack the ground - she shoots energy at the ground that moves out a short ways as a wave
Sky lasers - he summons balls that will shoot lasers at the ground all at once
dive - he will dive down at you. This is much faster than a normal swoop

Strategy:
His attacks are slow and easy to dodge. Use jump attacks when he stops or attacks the ground. Fire is your friend as he is weak to it so hitting him with fireball when you can and attacking with your fire enhanced weapon will make this a short fight. Note though that his attacks, especially dive, hurt so make sure you avoid his attacks. Overall this is one of the easier fights.
Northwall Growth Phase
Enemies:
Blue Dragon x 2 - summons 2 of these at once
Blue demon - like the fire ones but ice
Golden skull - they take several hits to kill
Gold Dragon - Like blue but takes more hits

Cast sun on a monster lair to slow the next summon down

Quest - Dear Friends

Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Red dagger goblin - like the brown ones but can throw at an angle and take some extra hits
Blue flying Goblin - They try to fly over you and drop down with a spear
Blue Spear Goblin - These blue goblins throw spears
mini Frost giant - they will throw axes at you and can block your attacks
Strategy:
Head left to pop that orb first. Drop down in the water to grab another on your way back to the right and jump up to smash the last one. The big orb will quickly move to the left and sometimes go in the water. It was a pain to line up fireballs but I found that to be the best way to kill it. Monsters will spawn quickly.

Quest - Bracing for the Inevitable
Reward - Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x2
Objective: Build 2 forts
I will build 1 of each to the north of the temple for now

Quest - The Gentle Beast
Reward - Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x2
Objective: Siege - protect the temple
Settlement Siege 1
I built one of each just to the north. I brought a bell in to the NE right away (in range of my towers) and brought in Shemaal to help keep the towers going. I re-summoned the same bell when needed. I brought Al in last to help with the fliers. If you lose your mage tower the ones from the south will go straight for temple instead. Lastly watch for towers getting frozen you have to use the sun on them asap.

Quest - Beneath the Boughs
Reward - Faith +50 and Civ. Level +1
Objective: take out the next lair
You can only take out the NE lair at this time
Monster Lair 2
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
mini Frost giant - they will throw axes at you and can block your attacks
Strategy:
Drop down and kill the orb to your left then fire ball the frost giant and rest of the orbs. Another super frost giant will spawn and its worth killing it as well. The real spawner will move all over the place so take care while hitting it with spells and attacks. It will constantly shoot at you while spawning bad guys. I found the aura spell to actually work well if you cast it while close enough to the orb.

I went ahead and destroyed everything so it can level up to 2.

Quest - Ultimatum
Reward - Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x4 and Bridge Building
Objective: Siege - protect the temple
Settlement Siege 2
I left my setup the same but added a second arrow tower to the north. after a little bit to split the forces. I brought Al in so the forts could reach it as well. Lastly I brought Shemaal but it wasn't as is

Quest - Power Supreme
Reward - Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x2
Objective: use your lightning
Cast lightning on your temple

Secret achievement - Render unto the lord
Cast lightning on your temple as part of a quest in Northwall and used a bell a little farther north

Quest - Fragile Hopes
Reward - Faith +100
Objective: take out the next lair
I took out the SE closer of the 2 remaining lairs
Monster Lair 3
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Red dagger goblin - like the brown ones but can throw at an angle and take some extra hits
Blue flying Goblin - They try to fly over you and drop down with a spear
Strategy:
drop down and kill everything while working your way to the right. When you get to the water you will need to climb up the pillar a little to kill an orb. Then drop down to kill the orb in the water and continue to the right. You can ride the platforms up to kill the dagger goblin and pick up some extra crystals but I skip it as I ran out of time the first attempt. Once you break the last orb all kinds of monsters will start spawning and the main spawner will move around all over the place. I used Aura again on this fight mainly while mixing in a few fire balls to help with the monsters as well.

Quest - Weathering the Bitter Cold
Reward - Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x2
Objective: Collect 10 fruit

Quest - A Desperate Prayer
Reward - Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x6
Objective: Siege - protect the temple
Settlement Siege 3
I left my setup the same but added a second mage tower to the north. This proved to be a bad idea and I used 3 bells and my hero in the south. I had to summon Phil to tank the south and when I could I brought in Migrana as well. I cycled through sun, lightning and earthquake spells as well. I still lost a couple towers in the north though and won.

Quest - Between Monsters and Men
Reward - Faith +100 and Civ. Level +1 and Rice
Objective: take out the last lair
Only one left
Monster Lair 4
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Boss Fight - Merman Fly
Strategy:
Drop down and you can either kill all of the orbs and fight he spawner with the boss in your way using spells like fire ball and aura or kill the boss first. This one will take a lot of time and manna to kill again without being fully charged your self but I did it using Fireball and then had to mostly use normal attacks to kill the spawner but did have enough MP left to hit it with a couple auras.

Time to destroy everything and rebuild to level 3
Northwall Growth Phase Part B
Quest - Awn Awnser Given
Reward - Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x8 and Resplendent Light
Objective: Siege - protect the temple
Settlement Siege 4
I put one of each tower to the north and to the east a little farther than I would like so I could be the gatehouse on the road blocking the way to the temple. I put our new hero in the north. I put Migrana in the east for my second hero and added a bell in the east. For my third hero I went with Al because there were so many monsters with magic shields and added him to the east. I placed my 3rd bell in the north when it broke. For the final wave I put a palisade in the far east to break up the group and I also cast sun and earthquake every chance I got.

I got my first raid while leveling everything for the siege.

I got my second raid while waiting for fruit (8/10) before attempting Siege 4.

Quest - Fiends Cloaked in Snow
Reward - Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x2
Objective: as angel kill monsters that spawn on the map
They will spawn in the SW, NW, and NE. If you haven't seen a monster attack your town yet you will here. There is a lot of them.

Quest - Commandment
Reward - Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x10
Objective: Siege - protect everything - if any single thing is wiped out you lose
Settlement Siege 5
I left my defenses as is split between the north and east (but everything spawned in the east so you could move everything over there). I used 3 bells in the east and summed Shemaal for my first hero to help keep my gate house up and Migrana for the second to keep the healing up. I used wind to move monsters around as well. I won on the first try so it was an easier Siege but you have to keep those eastern towers up or you will fail fast.

Quest - Recourse of the Powerless
Reward - Faith +150
Objective: Population of 400+
I was at 502

Quest - A Gift Deserved
Reward - Faith +250 and Jewel of the Cavalier
Objective: Finish Act 2

Population: 502
Northwall Act 2
Player Level - 19

Enemies:
laser statue - they will shoot lasers at you twice in a row
blinking eye - it will disappear and reappear
Owls - they will drop the rolly pollys
Rolly Pollys - they get dropped by the owls and crawl around
Actual frost giant - then can throw there axes lower as well
Angry bubbles - they are bubbles that are bad

Walkthrough:
Head Right and go straight into the next area

Area 2
Head to the right then climb up and head to the left for some extra crystals before heading to the right.

Once all the way to the right you will be able to climb up to a platform and will see bubbles you can actually jump on and ride.

Scroll 1 - In the bubble room on area in all the way in the top left. You will need to ride the bubbles to get to it.

Drop back down and to the left for a little disappearing platform puzzle. Climb to the top and head right.

You will have to defeat a frost giant and then ride a platform up to the next area but DO NOT GO UP. Make your way back to the left and you will find new bubbles to climb.

Scroll 2 - Hardest scroll for me to find in the game! After you defeat your first real frost giant (Loki) head back to the left and bubbles will have spawned that you can use to climb up.

Make your way up the vines.

Check Point

Area 3
Start using the bubbles to make your way up working side to side on the first platform to kill things as needed then keep going up. At the top head to the right.

You will quickly have to drop down but make sure you hug the right wall to avoid spikes at the bottom. Then you will have to kill a giant and use the platform that spawns to start making your way up. You will have to do this a few times until you reach the top.

This is where I reached max power

Once here use the disappearing platforms to make your way to the top.

Scroll 3 - In area 3 after killing several enemies to create elevators you will climb up to find disappearing platforms. Use these to get to the top left of the area for this scroll.

Drop back down and head to the left.

This room makes a U and you will need to ride the bubbles up on the left side to continue. There are a couple of statues and enemies in the U if you need but otherwise you can just make your way left and then up.

This next spot is full of bubbles that move up and down. Use them to make your way to the top right.

Check Point

Boss Fight - Arctic Wyvern
Attacks:
Dive - He will fly down at you
Ice Breadth - He will shoot an arc of ice down at an angle
deep dive - he will roar from up high and dive down faster
Ice drop - will spawn and drop ice from the ceiling
Ice laser - will shoot a sustained ice laser and move

Strategy:
Dodging his attacks is easy once you see them but he moves fast and does a TON of damage. Fireball is your friend if you can land the hits but even when you miss your sword attacks will do a lot more damage charged with fire. When he is casting his ice attacks is your best chance to land hits with both spells and attacks. When you hear him powering up an ice attack just move to his back and either jump up and cast fire ball or jump attack him. Give your self some room in case he casts laser.

Death Heim
Player Level - 21 - Have completed all revisit-able towns up to this point

Enemies:
Minotaurus - Fillmore Act 2 boss
Zeppelin Wolf - Bloodpool Act 2 Boss
Pharaoh - Kasandora Act 2 Boss
Firewheel - Aitos Act 2 Boss
Kalia - Marahna Act 2 Boss
Arctic Wyvern - Northwall Act 2 Boss
Walkthrough:
You are going to have to fight all of the act 2 bosses in order but each boss is a check point in that if you die you will not have to start all the way over. Considering this is a little bit of a marathon I will focus on strategies that don't use MP so you can decide where and how to use spells to make your life easier.

Minotaurus - dodge his attacks by ducking under and then jumping over his axe and running under him. beat him down with normal attacks when possible and use back step to move through him when he starts an attack. Of all 6 bosses he gives me the most trouble so feel free to use a couple spells or even heal if needed. Fireball can help here since you can keep your distance.

Zeppelin Wolf - He starts in wolf form and there are no platforms. Stay close and attack and dodge out of his drop kicks and lightning attacks. Stay behind him and when you are not behind him keep moving. Again I used just sword attacks to save MP for later and as long as I keep moving I usually beat him without even getting hit. You may want to give him room if he is in one of the corners and fire ball can help if only for its range. One attack that helped me a lot here was the three hit move combo using the third hit to move to his back.

Pharaoh - Run under him to get him to drop down and attack him. When he starts to spin back step through him. Hops are easy to dodge with back step either away or though and if he summons a face kill it quickly. I did not use MP.

Fruit - After Pharaoh I got a fruit that topped me off - After some testing it gives 50% HP and MP

Firewheel - Keep moving when he is and use back step to dodge through or away from him as needed until he stops then attack. The hardest thing to dodge is his fire balls but if you move away you can bast step through them without issue. I beat him with normal attacks but did heal a couple of times. It might be worth it to drop a couple ice attacks in but I want to make sure i have plenty of MP for later.

Kalia - Avoid him while he moves around and watch out for fire and platforms when he stops. When he does stop go to town with up attacks. When he puts fire on him self may extra attention to dodge. You could use aura a couple of times to speed this fight up if you would like as well.

Arctic Wyvern - dodge the dives and use fireball when you can. Get behind it when it is powering up an ice attack and get some good hits in. Heal if needed. Remember to stay moving when it flies up high and roars.

Fruit for 50% HP and MP and Max Power up here

Boss Fight - Tanzra Phase 1
Attacks:
Dash - His gem will turn blue and we will dash in a straight line
Fireballs - His gem will turn blue and he will spit several fireballs in one direction
Laser - His gem will turn yellow and he will shoot a laser in a wide arc
Meteor shower - His gem will turn red and he summon meteors to rain down
Strategy:
Move or back step behind him and attack with the one exception being meteor shower. For that you will need to get far away. The light spell does great damage but this phase is easy so you may want to save it. If you are far away when he cast fireballs just find a gap in the sin wave and duck.

Boss Fight - Tanzra Phase 2
Attacks:
Super fireballs - He will teleport and use both hands to generate and shoot large fireballs
Drop - he will try to drop out of the sky and land on you quickly
Super laser - he will shoot a laser from his head in a large arc
Strategy:
Get behind him if you can but for fireballs standing close to him just in range of attacking his hand will let you get some hits in. He drops down in groups of three so be ready to keep moving and back stepping. The laser can be jumped over but behind him is better to get damage in other wise you actually stand just under the laser spawn and get good hits in. This phase is hard to get hits in but he also has multiple attack points so the light spell does great damage here.
Fillmore Revisited
You could really do this any time and the raids will help level your heroes when they happen but I will focus on getting max population in each city and any new quests that open up.

Max Population: 602 (You might be able to squeeze a 702 somehow but I could not get them to build in the far south near the ocean)
You will need Rice and they will get that automatically if you complete the road between Fillmore and Bloodpool.

Raids
You will need raids to help level up your hero and the like. Since they are normally shorter an easier than the quest sieges you can use the strategies that make the most sense to you but I generally build 2 of each building as close to my temple as possible and use my hero, palisades, bells and spells to protect the sides I can't cover with towers.

Quest - The Ocean Deep
Reward: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x5
Description: give them a navigational tool
I don't have this yet but I am sure I will get it from an ocean city and will update once I have it.

Quest - Beloved Log House
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x5
Description: gather 500 resources

Quest - On the Hunt: Mandragoras
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x5
Description: Kill 10 Mandragoras
Go to act one and get to the mini-boss but DO NOT KILL IT. You have to kill 10 of the bugs it spawns first then kill it. I finished the level but you should be able to back out

Quest - On the Hunt: dragonteeth
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x5
Description: Kill 3 of the sword dragon guy in act 2. You can hit the check point right after the fight and back out. It is faster to take the lower path in Area 1 but don't spend time on side stuff.

Quest - Sanctuary on the Shore
Reward: Faith +150 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x5
Description: Population of 550

Achievement Unlocked - Cradle of LIfe
Finish all Fillmore Quests

Congratulations. Now you just need to do raids to level up your hero to 20
(I am currently saving this to the end hoping there is a faster way as he is only level 10)

Randomly Rewarded with the Traveler's Compass (take back to the first town)

Quest - ON the Hunt: Dragonnewts
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x5
Objective: Kill 7 Dragonewts (in the castle) - these are the flying cat skeletons

Achievement unlocked - Fledgling Light in the Marshlands
Finish all Bloodpool quests

Secret achievement - There will come soft rains
Reward: Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x5
Cast level 3 rain on the lake (after it has been cleaned). I honestly must of done this 5 times before the achievement popped. When it did I was over the top half of the lake and overlapped with the land to the north.
Kasandora Revisited
Max Population: 802 (I am sure this is the max) but you may get stuck at 702 and that is okay.
To get the last 100 I had to destroy small group of houses that had enough room for a farm until a farm spawned. You may also need to destroy a work shop. It takes a little luck but i did get it eventually.

Raids
I have a gatehouse to the NE and E. I have two arrow towers and a mage tower protecting both.

Quest - The Plague
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x5

You have to give them an herb you get in Marahna. You will not be able to build the city until this is done.

Description: Population above 700
Make sure everything is level 3 and you are using rice on your farms.

Quest - On the Hunt: Cactiworms
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x5
Description: Kill 15 Cactiworms
These are the plant vines that pop up in act 1. There is 4 in the first area and 2 in the early parts of the second area you can farm quickly. There are 2 more a little later on when you drop down for a scroll and one more near the exit of area 2. If you grab all of them once you can come back for the first 6.

Quest - On the Hunt: Mummia
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x5
Description: Kill 20 Cactiworms
These are the mummies in act 2. there are 4 fairly close to the start and 2 just after those. You could farm those if you would like. Otherwise you can get all you need in a full run using the upper secret area (thank you Hunteil).

Achievement unlocked - Fledgling light in the desert
Do all of the Kasandora quests
Aitos Revisited

Raids
I kept one of each building to the north and to the west.

Description: Population 500
Make sure everything is level 3 and destroy clusters of houses if you don't have room for that fifth farm.

Quest - On the Hunt: Crow Enenra
Reward: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x5
Description: kill 20 Enenra
These are the floating eyes as I called them in act 2. There is 2 in area 1 if you really wanted to just farm them 10x. However there is 6 in area 3 just after the check point (4 up top past the pit and 2 when you jump down in the pit but if you continue normally you will only find 5) Sadly you can't just die and re-kill them from the check point but it did count 2 of 6 when I tried.

Achievement - Fledgling light in the Highlands
Finish all the quests in Aitos
Marahna Revisited
Marahna
Max Population: 302 not a lot of room to work with

The story in this zone was the best of the lot IMO. I say it here so if you are interested you know to pay a little attention and not just skip all the txt.

Raids
I have one of each to the north and south of my temple.

Quest - An Herb Stronger Still
Rewards: Faith +50 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x5 and Herb

Achievement - Fledgling light in the Forest

Quest - On the Hunt: Darkeyes
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x5
Objective: Kill 20 darkeyes
These are the eyes that disappear for a little bit and can be found in Act 1 and Act 2. I did this while farming Loki and there are 2 right at the start of Act 2 and a couple on your way. Lastly there are 2 more near the end at the top of the disappearing scrolls. Note that Act 1 may have better spawns but I had to run Act 2 a few times trying to find the 2nd scroll.

Quest - On the Hunt: Loki
Rewards: Faith +100 and Legendary Chronicle - Taia x5
Objective: Kill 5 Loki
These are the real frost giants so head over to Act 2 and take these out. The first one is near the first elevator in area 2. The 2nd and 3rd Lokis are by the second set of elevators in area 3.

Achievement Unlocked - Fledgling light in the Tundra
Finish all of the questions in Northwall

No achievement but very much a secret - Northwall lake
In Northwall you can use max sun just left of the large tree. I had to cast a couple of times for it work but then on the next build phase they will start fishing. It will take a while but a boat will come back with a treasure x10 for leveling Taia - Huge show out to Hunteil for finding this one.

Trivia from Hunteil: In Northwall, they keep mentioning the mountains. But actually mean the world Tree or Great Tree. This translation or typo was present in my old original copy too.
Alcaleone Growth Phase
This area appears after the "end" credits.

No Act 1 so you jump right into this growth phase. Also, if you will to visit the old areas you can by going to the world map and using the teleporter in the NE

Start clearing tiles and eventually monster lairs will spawn.

Enemies:
Blue demon x2 - like the fire ones but ice
Golden skull - they take several hits to kill and destroys with its face
Red demon x2 - takes a few hits and destroys with fire

Walkthrough
Quest - A Worrying Sign
Reward - Faith +200
Objective: Move to first lair
I moved to the closes lair
Monster Lair 1
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Strategy:
Kill the orb on your left and make your way to the right killing all the orbs. Once the spawner appears tons of monsters will spawn and it will move around quickly. I used a couple castings of light to kill the monsters and start damaging the spawner and then finished it off with aura.

Quest - Search for Awnsers
Reward - Faith +250 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella and Migrana x10
Objective: Protect temple and gatehouses
Settlement Siege 1
Siege Strategy:
I build my first gate house to the south and my second just NE of the first gatehouse. I then built two arrow and one mage tower to cover these. You will start with Daniella and Migrana with the ability to summon a 3rd of your choice but I went with Phil. I used Phil and spells to protect the temple while I let the towers and other heroes work on the boss. This worked surprising well but was a little hectic.

Quest - Philotas's Report
Reward - Faith +250 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x20 and Bridge building and Civ. Level +1
Objective: Move to second lair
Move to the south east later
Monster Lair 2
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Centarius Boss - just like the first time you faced him
Strategy:
You can take out the orbs and fight the spawner or take the boss out first. I will take the boss out first. Once the spawner spawned I chased after it casing aura like normal.

Time to destroy everything and level up to 2. I will also build a second mage tower.

Quest - Daniella's Thoughts
Reward - Faith +300 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella and Shemaal x10
Objective: Protect temple, homes, and can't lose Daniella or Shemaal
Settlement Siege 2
Siege Strategy:
I left my forts in the same spot and added a mage tower. You start with Shemaal and Daniella so I decided to bring in Migrana for the increased healing speed. I used bells to help bring things in range of my towers as well. I also used palisades near the end to slow things down so my heroes could take them out. Again this worked better than I thought.

Achievement - a Legion of Godly souls
Have a total population of 3500.

Quest - Alonso's Musings
Reward - Faith +350 and Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x20
Objective: Move to the third lair
I took out the NW lair as the skulls are easier for me to kill.
Monster Lair 3
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Tree mini boss - Just like the one from the very first level
Black hat Goblin - throws large rocks in an arch and moves faster than hat goblin.
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Orange Monkey - they jump at you. Evade and then attack three times
Red dagger goblin - like the brown ones but can throw at an angle and take some extra hits
Strategy:
Head left and take out the tree. Head to the top Right and take out another tree killing orbs you see. Drop down and kill the orbs in the bottom right then work your way to the left. Jump up and kill another orb in the Left middle that should be the last one and the spawner will be in the middle. I used aura on it as it also took out the other spawns.

Quest - Migrana's Discontent
Reward - Faith +400 and Legendary Chronicle - Migrana x20 and Shemaal x10
Objective: Protect temple, fields, and can't lose Migrana or Shemaal
Settlement Siege 3
Siege Strategy:
I left my forts in the same spot and added an arrow tower and also removed a gate house to add yet another arrow tower. You start with Migrana and Shemaal and I added Taia to the mix. This was a game changer as all of the towers attacked and healed faster. A tired a few other combinations before this one and this one worked. I also had to destroy stuff to move farms closer to my defenses so I could protect them with bells. I only had one farm left and it was to the south west of the temple.

Quest - Shemaal's Assessment
Reward - Faith +450 and Legendary Chronicle - Shemaal x20 and Civ. Level +1 and Rice
Objective: Move to the fourth lair
Last lair
Monster Lair 4
Reward: +1 fortifications
Enemies:
Blue Goblin - they walk toward you and attack. Two hits to kill. they walk faster when they see you
Blow Dart goblin - shoot darts at you or throw a bomb
tiki totem - It will jump at you or it will be stationary and shoot arrows
Spear demon - jumps around quickly and attacks with a spear
Bird shaman man - the guy with the plant who makes tornadoes
Strategy:
Kill the orb to your left then work your way to the right. Then drop down and work your way all the way back to the left killing everything in your path. Monsters will continue to spawn so find the ever moving big spawner and spam aura until it is dead.

Destroy everything and level it up to three
Alcaleone - Growth Phase part B
I destroyed everything and let it rebuild and leveled all of my structures up to level 3 before starting the next quest.

First Raid - I left my defenses where they are and they started me with Daniella but I don't know how random this is. Do plan to use bells though to keep enemies off your expensive towers as needed. The reward I got was for Taia so it may be random as well. i also got 900 FAITH

I got a second raid while leveling up my forts to level 3. Daniella again and I brought Taia in this time and Shemaal to keep those buildings alive. Daniella scrolls and ANOTHER 900 faith!?

Quest - Taia's Feeling
Reward - Faith +500 and Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x10 and Taia x20
Objective: Protect temple and gatehouses
Settlement Siege 4
Siege Strategy:
I left my forts in the same spot and added back a second gatehouse to the south. You start with Daniella and Taia this time and I brought in Shemaal first chance. I placed a couple bells near the gate houses as well and had to replace the farther one once. I used spells and palisades to protect the north but everything went into my towers for the most part.

Quest - Chaos Unleashed
Reward - Faith +600 and Legendary Chronicle - Philotas x10 and Alonso x30
Objective: Protect temple, 50% of your forts and Alonso and Philotas
Settlement Siege 5
Siege Strategy:
I left my forts in the same spots. You start with Philotas and Alonso. I was real tempted to go for attack speed with these two but Shemaal's healing is to good to pass up. I dropped in the same two bells and got ready for a fight. Everything went straight for the forts for the most part and with Shemaal healing it was easy.

Quest - A New Legend
Reward - Faith +1500
Objective: Complete the compact mission

Population 802
Alcaleone Act 1 and 2
Player Level - 32
I am calling it Act 1 and 2 because it is a single larger level with 6 scrolls

Enemies:
rolly pollys - they roll at you
Birds with rocks - they try to drop the rocks on you
sword skeletons - they will move quickly and attack you
Blue flying Goblin - They try to fly over you and drop down with a spear
Blue Spear Goblin - These blue goblins throw spears
Red flying Goblin - They try to fly over you and drop down with a spear
Lizardman - they can throw their swords that will come back but you can just duck under them on their way back.
Metroid crawlers - they crawl into you slowly so you feel dumb when they hit you
flying skeletal cat - They move fast and lung at you while also having an attack with a strong reach. Evade then attack.
Red lizard with tail - he will bounce at you and move quickly in one direction. They can also spit fire
Snake!!! - they snake
Walkthrough:
Head to the right and jump over the pit for a statue and jump down into the pit landing on a platform and make your way to the right. Climb a tree and continue right riding a log down.

Scroll 1 - In area 1 all the way to the right you will need to ride a log down to get this one just after climbing a small tree.

ride a log to your left and make your way back up. This time heading to the right instead of riding the log. Once you reach the gate head back up and to the left before moving on.

Scroll 2 - after you reach the end of area one climb up and to the left to ride a log down to get this one

Continue back to the right and exit the area.

Area 2
May your way all the way to the right staying on the bottom path near the water but do not jump in the water.

Scroll 3 - In area two near the water line. You have to jump over the water to get this on the far right.

Once you have the scroll make your way all the way back to the left then take the upper path this time. Head all the way to the right for a gate.

Check Point

Area 3
You will start locked in a room where a bunch of monsters will spawn. Kill them all to continue.

Scroll 4 - they give this one to you right after you finish the first room in area 3.

Continue on to the right.

Area 4
Head to the right and start making your way up and to the left and then right again until you find another log ride to ride down but be ready to jump.

Scroll 5 - in area 4 as you are riding the log rid jump up to a rocky ledge and head over to the right for this one.

jump down to your left and then down a again for a little ledge and head to the right.

Scroll 6 - just after scroll 5 make your way down to the left and all the way to the right staying on lower platforms.

Head to the right to leave this area.

Check Point
Note I missed full power up by a very small amount. I have a few enemies die on spikes so I couldn't get the crystals.

Boss Fight - Unknown
Attacks:
sky swords - shoots swords down from the sky
circle swords - shoots swords out and around in a circle around the boss
angle swords - shoots swords down in an angle
center swords - swords go out and come back into the center
big swords - will make a cross and shoot out at you
Electric orbs - will spawn on either side of the arena and will grow (and will drop crystals)
Strategy:
Jump attack when you can and move way depending on the sword patterns. You can back step through all of them as well as the big swords. You need to use ranged attacks like fireball to kill the electric orb and the boss takes extra damage from fireball. If you want to play it safe keep your distance and spam fireball.

This will complete the last quest of the realm and you will get a couple of achievements.

Special Mode
Once you finish the game you can play special mode by selecting it from the title menu. You load up based on your previous save and your level and spells are carried over. You play each level 1 at a time based on the difficultly you select. You get points based on difficulty, time, kills and items picked up (where the scrolls had been). You need to get a total of 20M points across all levels and need to beat them on a new harder difficultly where the monsters hit even harder and you only get one life extra life (though even that one death will drop your score from an A to a C normally). Difficulty stacks for the achievements and you only get 1 score per level.

At max level this isn't to bad to do but it will take time. You may also want to farm raids to level up. After level 30 (and all scrolls) you will only get HP but you can get your HP to 999. Besides you need to level up all of your heroes to 20 anyway so farm raids in the last city for 900 faith a pop as divine is no joke and things hit hard.

Otherwise the levels play out just like they did during the game with one exception, the scroll statues now drop points. They do seem to be worth it to take the time to get them.

Good luck and enjoy! If anyone has any useful tips or ideas or really wants me to post more information about this mode comment in the comment section and I will respond.

thank you to ahferroin7:
Regarding special mode, the difficulty does stack for achievements (just cleared all on normal and got the achievements for both normal and easy).

Also, the items seem to generally be worth it unless you’re absurdly fast, at least for normal difficulty (I average a score about 1.7 times higher by getting all the items compared to not picking any up), and only three of the gold statues in Alcaleone give you items (the ones for scrolls 1, 3, and 5 in this guide).
Spells
Spells are unlocked during each chapter usually right before Act 2 starts. Radiant Fire is my bread and butter spells so I use it the most and thankfully you get it first.

Radiant Fire (Fireball) - Shoots a fire ball out in the direction you are facing for great damage that can hit large targets more than once. After use, normal attacks do fire damage for a little while.
Acquired: Fillmore
Cost: 20PM
Power: 100

Penitent Ice - shoots ice across the ground but will not change elevation or platforms. After use, normal attacks take on the ice aspect for a little while
Acquired: Bloodpool
Cost: 20
Power: 60

Wrothful Starfire - Shoots fireballs from the top down across the screen. Great if you are clearing lots of small monsters but less damage than the Fireball spell. Has no effect on normal attacks
Acquired: Kasandora
Cost: 30
Power: 85

Blessed Respite - Heals you for 25%. Very useful since you respawn at check points with all your HP and MP. I use this heavily until I reach the actual boss fight.
Acquired: Aitos
Cost: 60
Power: N/A

Retributive Aura - A large nova for a good amount of time centered on you. It does great damage to targets that are not moving. Still Fireball is often better.
Acquired: Mahrahna
Cost: 50
Power: 40

Resplendent Light - Deals light damage to all enemies and after upgrades your sword to light damage for a time.
Acquired: Northwall
Cost: 70
Power: 200
Heroes
Ally Profiles:

Fillmore - Philotas
HP: High
Attack: Low
Defense: High
Range: Close
Speed: Slow
Ice Resistance: High
Passive: Increases attack power for all units and forts
How to use: He is your tank and can take a lot of hits. Use him when you need to protect others

Bloodpool - Daniella
HP: Low
Attack: High and AOE
Defense: Low
Range: Far
Speed: Slow
Ice Resistance: Normal
Passive: Reduces damage taken by units and forts
How to use: She is great for dealing damage to large groups and flyers. Her passive stacks well with Phil when tanking is needed.

Kasandora - Alonso
HP: Medium
Attack: High
Defense: Medium to High
Range: Close (but can shoot fliers)
Speed: Slow
Ice Resistance: Low
Passive: Increases range of units and forts
How to use: He is great for helping with fliers and does good single target damage. The range buff isn't the most helpful though but could be important when you need it (towers need more range to cover the perfect area and so on)

Aitos - Migrana
HP: Medium
Attack: Medium but fast
Defense: Low
Range: Close
Speed: Fast
Ice Resistance: Normal
Passive: Increases attack speed for units and forts
How to use: The increased speed can be very helpful and the damage output isn't bad as long as Migrana isn't taking direct hits. No good against fliers but helps your towers attack faster.

Marahna - Shemaal
HP: Low
Attack: Low
Defense: Low
Range: Close but can attack fliers
Speed: Fast
Ice Resistance: Low
Passive: Restores HP to units and forts over time
How to use: This ability works great when any damage needs to be mitigated. The healing also seems to stack with Aitos speed increase making it a powerful combination.

Northwall - Taia
HP: Medium
Attack: Medium (medium speed)
Defense: Low
Range: Normal (ranged and can hit fliers)
Speed: Normal
Ice Resistance: High
Passive: Increases potency of bonus effects provided by other units
How to use: When you are relying on bonus effects this is a great unit to add in.
Misc. and Secret Achievements
Secret Achievement - Come and be Judged
Cast soothing rain on a monster lair to summon it faster

Secret Achievement - Peace be with you
Cast sun on a monster lair to slow the next summon down

Secret achievement - There will come soft rains
Reward: Legendary Chronicle - Daniella x5
Cast level 3 rain on the lake (after it has been cleaned). I honestly must of done this 5 times before the achievement popped. When it did I was over the top half of the lake and overlapped with the land to the north.

Secret Achievement - Look on my works and Despair
Reward: Legendary Chronicle - Alonso x5
Cast level 3 earth quake on the pyramid. I had to do this several times and finally got it after the Plague quest but you may need to cast more than once.

Secret achievement - Render unto the lord
Cast lightning on your temple as part of a quest in Northwall

Leveling up each hero to 20!
This is a slow process involving farming raids. I found the last city to be the fastest for me so you could stay there and then pick other areas as needed to finish them off. Really you should probably stay in Alcaleone until half your party is done and/or until you hit max level.

Hi Ringtaleferret. There have been a few instances of this where it just took a while. Have to leave in and out and wait for it to come up. I remember it taking a long while for me and then it just finally happened.
Ringtaleferret Sep 25 @ 7:09pm
Does anyone know if there is a glitch where Fillmore won't do rice fields even when connected to Bloodpool? I'm at a loss here. Bloodpool said they'd share stuff, but nothing happened in Fillmore nor did the field ever change to rice fields even when I destroyed the old fields.

Hello Earthbound_X. Agreed and it is in the guide in the Misc section. Really you should probably stay in Alcaleone until half your party is done and/or until you hit max level. I will clean up the section a little to make sure its a little more clear.
Earthbound_X Jan 14 @ 9:48pm
OK, I had leveled half the heroes to 20, didn't play for a few days, came back, and now just realized the game will still give you scrolls for maxed level heroes in Alcaleone, just wasting time. So once you hit max on a few heroes, it might be a better idea to head back to the specific hero's city, so you'll only get scrolls from raids for the heroes who still need them. You'll still get 10 scrolls on Hard, and faith shouldn't matter because by the time you have a few heroes maxed at 20, you should have been level 99 for a few hours at least.

Yeah the hero grind to 20 was pointless unless you want the achievement. It was one of my only gripes as there is nothing for them to do and no reason to grind them besides the achievement.

Just checked, upped my difficulty to Hard, and that will get you 10 total hero scrolls each raid in Alcaleone, up from 7 total on Normal. It was barely any harder as well, so I'd say start on Hard when you start grinding in Alcalone. You get 900 faith as well, up from Normal's 675, but that's not as important, as you'll hit level 99 quite a bit before you hit level 20 for each hero.

Still have no idea what the Ice Resistance stat each hero has is supposed to be. Maybe an element of the game they removed, but left the pointless stat in?

Boy I was glad to be wrong, was leveling to level 99 and level 20 for each hero in Alcaleone, and it felt like the time between raids had doubled since I beat the game. But I ended up timing it and each raid seems to happen every 4 minutes. Felt really dumb, like I had just doubled the amount of time I'd have to do. Feels like I'm gonna hit level 99 hours before I hit 20 for each hero. This really is a pointless grind just to fill out some trophy slots.

I'd recommend Taia and Migrana as the heroes you always call in, in that order. Taia is already the best single hero in the game, able to hit ground and air, and magic and normal monsters, plus her attack is aoe. Then Migrana's attack speed bonus mixes with Taia's bonus to further increase other hero's bonuses very well, your arrow towers and heroes will always be attacking nonstop.

Yeah, I loved it but I wish it almost had a way to just play the old version along side it. Still I really do hope they make or remake 2 as well as other classics.

Thank you Silicis. Finally just beat the game here. Wonderful job from my stand point. I couldn't believe how different this is from the original game. When you compare it from that way of thinking, it's a slam dunk great game. But I can't help but remember the Monty python moments throughout the game lol. (Giants falling over like cardboard cutouts and other silly things like the 3D models and the shoulders/arms looking hilarious.) Just felt like they left a lot on the table in order to keep it like the old game and move on. Fingers crossed for a 2nd game with just as much love poured into it and more. Story was great. A little too much interruption but that's how the old game was so I get it.

btw: After beating the final Alcaleone boss, the Angel says: "I implore you, Master! Let us return to those other kingdoms of men and see what good we may yet do!" I got excited thinking maybe there's more, but I didn't notice anything extra.
