How to own a Unicorn

Owning your very first Unicorn In Oblivion.....what else do you want?

Step 1

Go to Harcane Grove, it's north of Bravil

Step 2

Locate the Unicorn, approach it, and mount it like you would a normal horse.

Step 3

Congrats you have own your very own Unicorn! Ride off towards the sunrise!

Notes

*There is a Daedric quest "Hircine's Shrine" associated with this mount, if you actually want to complete it, you will lose the ability to have the Unicorn as your mount.
You don't need to find the quest in order to find the unicorn!

*Avoid the Minotaurs in the grove when near the Unicorn. Having your weapon ready will cause the Unicorn to attack you. Stealth is your best approach.

*When you fast travel the Unicorn will be with you it is your default horse now, however once you dismount it may start walking back to the grove. If you ever need to find it again go there.

*The Unicorn can die...so make sure it doesn't there is only one in the game!

if i remember right if the unicorn engages combat with anything it will add you as a target and won't stop fighting until it kills you, or vice versa

i did this once , i put it in the stall in the keep you get in the game cause the gate closes so i wouldn't lose it and ran around on foot in one save, its sad that you have to lose this horse in the quest for the daedra.
kinda glad they brot it back in skyrim in the DLC annavercery update.
