How to Enchant Tools in Stardew Valley

this guide will provide an explanation on how to unlock the forge and enchant all of your tools !

How to Unlock the Forge in Stardew Valley

The Forge, in Stardew Valley, is unlocked after getting to ginger island and finishing the community/JojaMart and fixing up the boat behind the door in Willy's shop.

- Once you reach the island, you'll have to find some golden walnuts to unlock the trail which leads you north of the ginger island entrance. (***linked a YT vid on all of the walnuts on ginger island in the comments, credit to owner***)

- Now, go north up the trail and continue to go up after reaching the area with palm trees until you see a large volcano with the face of a monster with an open mouth.

- You'll now have to go up 10 floors to reach the forge, so before you enter make sure you have bombs, a full watering can, plenty of food for energy and health, and a pickaxe.

- You have to pour water over lava pools to create paths over them so that how you can progress forward, look for the open cave doors to go to the next floor.

- At level 4 or 5 theres a merchant who sells bombs and a few other items, as well as a pool of water next to him. Make sure you fill up your can to make traversing easy.

- Once you reach level 10 youll see the forge up ahead. You can enchant weapons by placing them on he forge and using one prismatic shard (you'll get 1 free once you get up there!). You'll also need 20 crystal shards from the volcano dropped by tiger slimes or from reddish purple ores. 2 rings can also be combined at the forge, so your character can have more buffs/perks.

- ONCE YOU REACH LEVEL 10 TO THE FORGE YOU DONT HAVE TO CLIMB BACK ALL THE WAY TO ACCESS THE FORGE AGAIN, when you enter the volcano there will be a door on the right which, if you enter, will bring you right up to level 10 instantly.
