A Total War Saga: TROY 100% Achievement Guide

A comprehensive guide on how to get all the achievements in A Total War Saga: TROY in an organized and efficient manner.

Introduction

Hello! Welcome to my A Total War Saga: Troy 100% Achievement Guide. I have divided this guide into General Achievements (achievements that almost any faction can get) and Faction Achievements (achievements that are unique to certain factions). Achievements are grouped according to what I see as what makes the most sense to complete in one playthrough. You'll need a minimum of 12 playthroughs (one for each faction) to 100% the game. Feel free to use whatever factions you want to get all the General Achievements but try to read the full guide beforehand so you have a good idea on how to proceed AND get to know some of the considerations for the harder achievements. I hope this guide will be of use to you. Enjoy!

Note: Certain achievements only pop up after ending the turn or beginning a new one. Also, this guide assumes you have all the content for the game.

General Achievements - Part 1

Let's start off with General Achievements that any faction can get.

Beginning the Journey with Mythological Mode

When you begin a new campaign, you can choose which mode you want to play. Mythological adds monsters and divine powers, Truth behind the Myth has humans dressing up as monsters (it's weird) and Historical has no myth units and gives a retinue to your general instead of having him as a single combatant. It doesn't really matter which mode you start off with but I'm assuming you're going for Mythological since it's the flashy new mode and is definitely the most fun. You'll need 3 playthroughs because there are 3 mythic beasts that you can hunt down and it's more convenient if you do them on separate playthroughs.

Your Likeness in the Sky
Achieve a Total War victory with any faction in the mythic campaign.

Total War Victory typically requires you to completely destroy your first Antagonist faction (a faction that shows up around Turn 70-80 and that will never make peace with you), own, sack or raze 100 settlements and control the great cities of Troy, Knossos and Mycenae with military allies or vassals (exclusive to Agamemnon's faction). The other two modes have this achievement too and they're time consuming but doable.

First!
Win a mythic monster quest battle by turn 50.

At turn 15, you can begin Expeditions to hunt for and tame one of three great beasts: Cerberus, the Lernean Hydra or the Griffin Patriarch. I recommend sending the expedition ASAP even if what you send is trash tier units. Your expedition can pick up new better units or get some crazy buffs for your current units and hero. You'll need to pay an upfront cost to launch the expedition which can include a maximum of one general and 9 units. There is no upkeep cost. Every 2-3 turns your expedition will face a dilemma (basically a choose-your-adventure screen) for a total of 5 dilemmas. I've attached three guides made by Serious Trivia, a great gaming channel, on the best choices for these dilemmas. If you're hurting for time, just watch the last section of each video that shows the recommended paths.

After the dilemmas conclude, your faction leader can be transported to battle the beast. This is a tough fight with Cerberus probably being the hardest since his units are unbreakable. Depending on your dilemma choices, your expedition army can be a great help here. I recommend having some mid-tier units even if your economy is hurting and focusing down the beast once it appears as that immediately finishes the battle. You CAN lose this battle but can retry it on the next turn. As long as you win this battle before turn 49 is over (the number can be seen above the End Turn button), you will get this achievement. Admittedly, this is a slightly harder achievement but certainly doable with some good planning. Just a fun note, once your Antagonist faction appears, he will get one of the three mythic beasts possibly taking away the one you wanted if you haven't gotten one yet by then.

Hound of Hell
Capture Cerberus.

Pretty self-explanatory.

Good Boy!
Pet Cerberus.

Attach Cerberus into an army, left-click on his unit icon and press "Pet". Aww.

Immortal Serpent
Capture the Hydra.

I recommend doing this on another playthrough.

King of all Animals
Capture the Griffin.

I recommend doing this on another playthrough.

The following achievements are not specific to Mythological mode but they're easy so might as well get them out of the way.

Say Cheese!
Take a screenshot using the Photo Mode.

Boot up any battle, press Esc, click Photo Mode and press Space. Your photos are kept in your Pictures folder and, in case you were wondering, no you can't get this achievement by taking a Steam screenshot.

Bread Feeds War
Collect 100,000 Food only from barters over a single campaign.

Food is the cheapest, easiest resource to hoard and you'll probably get this achievement just naturally playing the game. What you'll need to do is engage in diplomacy and then sell resources OR make deals (non-aggression pact, military access, defensive pact, military alliance, peace etc.) for food. This is especially easy to do in the late game as the AI places very little value on food. The number might sound intimidating but it really isn't.

Hidden Island
Conquer the mystery Cyclops island.

The island of Trinacria is located at the southwest corner of the map and is the only province in the game with a single region and will be uninhabited in the beginning. Just sail there and colonize it or conquer/confederate the faction owning it and you're good.

Love and Beauty
Reach the highest tier of favour with Aphrodite.

Now we're beginning a series of achievements that have the exact same requirement: reach the highest favor tier with a certain god. Each god can have a maximum of 650 favor and the highest tier (Worshipped) begins at 600. For these achievements, you only need to reach 600. Build temples to that god, unique buildings in certain settlements, have your priestesses do rituals at cities with temples and conduct hecatomb sacrifices. Penthesilea has an achievement for razing cities (some of which will immediately give her 600 favor) but her faction plays VERY differently so I wouldn't recommend a beginner to try for these achievements with her. In any case, these achievements are pretty easy and you can get them all in one playthrough without any issue so don't worry about it.

Healing and Music
Reach the highest tier of favour with Apollo.


War Ensemble
Reach the highest tier of favour with Ares.


The Great Hunt
Reach the highest tier of favour with Artemis.


Wisdom and Strategy
Reach the highest tier of favour with Athena.


Hammer of the Gods
Reach the highest tier of favour with Hephaestus.


Protector of the Hearth
Reach the highest tier of favour with Hera.


The Sea's Favour
Reach the highest tier of favour with Poseidon.


Ruler of Olympus
Reach the highest tier of favour with Zeus.

General Achievements - Part 2

The following two achievements are exclusive to the Blood & Glory DLC. If you don't have it then don't worry about them :)

Tropaion
Win a campaign battle that results in a Blood totem appearing.

After a particularly bloody battle, a trophy will appear on the campaign map marking the site. This is a very easy achievement and you don't need to go out of your way to get it.

Let it Flow
Win a campaign battle that results in a river of blood.

Another achievement that'll pop up during the course of a normal game even if you're auto-resolving. If you're curious about how to trigger it in a battle, whenever a battle begins from the campaign map, find a river and fight the enemies there. The river will soon begin to flow red.

The following achievements are all about conquering Troy. Troy is unique in that its battle CAN'T be auto-resolved and it's immune to agent actions. Its garrison is incredibly strong and is a challenge to even the best late game armies. However, there are three clever ways to make the fight easier. I don't know if you can get them all from the same battle but since we're playing multiple playthroughs anyway, let's have multiple unique battles for Troy. Also do note that these achievements can ONLY be done with a Danaan faction (thanks to @Δαίμονας and @Amulet of Kings for confirming).

Broken Prophecy
Win a battle for Troy after successfully Stealing the Palladium.

The Palladium is an item that you can "steal" from Troy with an agent. To do this, you'll need to first get the mission. After digging in the game files, @TheOneWhoKnocks was able to find the exact triggers for it:

- be a human player
- player faction must be of Danaan culture
- Troy faction must be alive
- player must be at war with Troy
- a player-controlled general must be in the Zeleia region
- (Zeleia does not need to be owned by the player)

Once you get the mission, you can move an agent to Troy and they'll get the Palladium. Simply win the battle for Troy after it and you'll get the achievement.

Poseidon's Wrath
Win the battle for Troy on the "earthquake" map.

Occasionally, there'll be an event called "Poseidon's Frenzied Stallion" in which Troy's walls are destroyed by an earthquake. It might take a few turns after this but once a notification pops up that Troy's walls have collapsed, immediately attack. Troy will recover its walls after around 10 turns but this is a repeating event so take your time.

My Kingdom for a Horse
Win the battle for Troy with Odysseus' Ruse active.

Technically, this achievement is unique to Odysseus' faction but it will activate if you confederate him while playing any Achaean faction. After confederating him, besiege Troy for a turn (don't begin the battle immediately), a screen will pop up asking you to fund the construction of the Trojan Horse and once you pay for its cost (1500 wood, 200 gold), you can begin a unique battle in which you'll send a crack commando team inside Troy's walls. They'll open the gates for you and chaos ensues.

The following three achievements are best done together and will be the ultimate challenge in the game. I recommend doing this with Achilles as his faction is pretty strong, his starting location is kinda far from the strongest factions and none of his epic missions depend on diplomacy. In other words, you can get his Homeric Victory mission while you're at it. Or you can do every Homeric Victory first and leave these achievements for last. DON'T RUSH INTO THESE ACHIEVEMENTS IF YOU'RE NOT SURE ABOUT THEM. THESE THREE DON'T HAVE TO BE A PART OF YOUR FIRST FEW PLAYTHROUGHS.

Isolationist
Win the game without signing any treaties

Reject EVERY diplomatic offer. The only thing you're going to agree to is war.

This is Total War
Win the game having declared war on every faction the turn you encountered them, as well as never negotiating a peace treaty.

The classic Total War achievement. The annoying thing here is that before you end a turn, you will have to check your diplomacy screen and make sure you're at war with EVERY faction you know. Messing up just once will invalidate your run. I recommend activating incremental saves so that you can retain a separate save for each turn. That way if you mess up, you can just reload from that save.

Realm Conqueror
Complete all Realm missions in one campaign.

Beginning from Turn 30 or so, depending on the settlements you've conquered, you'll start to get Realm missions that ask you to conquer certain settlements in a specific region. Fully conquering that "realm" will make you Anax (basically king) and give strong bonuses like reduced factionwide construction costs or increased factionwide happiness. There are 11 realms and they are the Northern Peloponnese (area around Mycenae), Boeotia (area around Thebes), Attica (area around Athens), Thessalia (area west of Achilles), Euboea (the long island east of Achilles), the Cyclades (the group of islands in the middle of the Aegean Sea), Crete (the large island down south), Rhodes (the large island to the southeast and some of the mainland), Miletus (central area of Anatolia), Troad (area around Troy) and Propontis (area northeast of Troy around the Black Sea). Once you conquer some settlements of that realm, the triggered mission will give you more details on which settlements you'll need to conquer more and where they are. Note that military alliances don't count for realm completion but Agamemnon's vassals do. Conquer all 11 realms in one playthrough and you'll get this achievement.

PS: Do check out the comment made by Amulet of Kings below if the achievement isn't triggering for you! It goes into way more detail than I can fit in here (literally at max characters for this section). The point is you want the MISSIONS to trigger (not sure why it doesn't sometimes). Successfully completing all Anax of ... MISSIONS will net you the achievement.

Changing the Pace with Truth behind the Myth

Homer's Favourite
Achieve a Total War victory with any faction in the main campaign.

Did you have fun with the Mythological mode? Now we'll need to start a new campaign on Truth behind the Myth, the mode that Troy originally launched with. Unfortunately, you're gunning for just one achievement so I'd recommend playing with any faction whose faction achievements you haven't gotten yet.

Concluding with Historical Mode

King of the Bronze Age
Achieve a Total War Victory with any Faction on the Historic campaign.

Just as before, I'd recommend getting this achievement with a faction whose achievements you're still missing. Unfortunately, this mode is extremely barebones without almost any unique buildings or units. Well, at least you're taking a strong step for 100% completion.

Heroic Retinue
Unlock and equip the strongest bodyguard unit available to a Hero.

In Historical Mode, heroes will have bodyguard units instead of being single entities on the battlefield. Each hero will have three tiers of bodyguards. Around level 12, you can choose your elite guard. Just select it and that's it.

Faction Achievements - Achaeans

Here, you'll find achievements grouped according to each specific faction that can get them. Let's begin.

Achilles of Phthia

The Rage of Achilles
Have Achilles in "Enraged" mood for 25 turns in one campaign.

Achilles has 4 moods that he can enter: Proud, Indignant, Grieving and Outraged. Proud is the default mood (no pros and cons) and you can enter the other moods for 8-10 turns if you fulfill certain requirements. To get this achievement, you'll need to wage war with as many neighbors as possible and fight duels. Achilles will then start to become Outraged. Enter the mood 3-5 times and you'll get the achievement. This is another reason why Achilles is so good for a This is Total War playthrough as his Outraged mood is incredibly powerful and becomes easier to farm when you're fighting more neighbors. Note that this is "neighbors" and not "factions". Declaring war on a faction on the other side of the world won't do anything for you. While being Outraged does have its cons, it's manageable especially once you get better at the game. The other ways to farm Outraged are all negative in that it requires you to lose a battle, have his territory be raided and have enemy agent actions against him.

Face Me!
Playing as Phthia, wound Hector in battle with Achilles present.

Pretty much what it says. Make sure to either kill Hector or wipe out his army/garrison while Achilles is leading or reinforcing the main army. You CAN auto-resolve.

The Greatest Warrior
Playing as Phthia, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Self-explanatory.

Agamemnon of Mycenae

King of all Men
Playing as Mycenae, have all King of Men positions occupied at the same time.

Agamemnon has a faction mechanic where you can appoint qualified Heroes to leadership positions that will buff your faction and its armies. These positions have three levels. The bottom level (with 5 slots) requires Heroes to be rank 3 or above to fill them. The mid level (with 3 slots) requires rank 5 Heroes or above. The top level (the one and only Lawagetas) requires a rank 8 or above Hero and the construction of the Champion's Hall, a tier 4 building, in any settlement. Simply fill these positions up and you're good to go.

The Host's Champion
Playing as Mycenae, have Achilles or Ajax as your Lawagetas.

You'll need to confederate either Salamis or Phthia and appoint the relevant Hero to Lawagetas. Instructions on how to unlock the position is right above.

Shepherd of the People
Playing as Mycenae, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Agamemnon's Homeric Victory is annoying in that it requires a high influence level in the regions around both Mycenae and Troy. Prepare to work those envoys overtime and spam that End Turn button.

Odysseus of Ithaca

Odyssey
Playing as Ithaca, conquer Troy and then get back home to Ithaca.

Exactly what it says. Take over Troy, achieving your Homeric Victory in the process, and sail all the way back home. If you wanna do this the easy way, you can recruit an army in Ithaca and replace its general with Odysseus after you've kicked him out of whatever army he was commanding prior. Thanks to Mr.Proper for confirming this!

Master of Trickery
Playing as Ithaca, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Just a gameplay tip is try not to waste too much time expanding into the northwest corner of the map. All your Epic Missions (except the second one) will be happening around the islands of the Aegean Sea.

Menelaus of Sparta

The Great Cause
Playing as Sparta, win a battle with an army that contains 19 units from other factions.

Menelaus gets a special recruitment option that allows him to train units from factions that are his military allies. Since they're more expensive and takes longer to recruit, I recommend going for this achievement in the late game. Just get a military alliance (very easy to do with Achaean factions) recruit an army of all foreign units and win a battle.

Reunited
Playing as Sparta, win a battle for Helen's settlement.

You can find Helen by searching for the icon of her face next to the name of the settlement. She begins with Paris of Troy so you'll most likely find her around Troy or areas that Paris has conquered.

Honour Restored
Playing as Sparta, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Remember, forgiving Helen is the canon ending ;)

Ajax of Salamis

Challenge Accepted
Playing as Salamis, challenge and defeat all Paragons.

Ajax will get unique enemy challengers called Paragons and if you beat them, you can train a superior unit. There are A LOT of Paragons (22 to be exact) and they get revealed over time all over the Aegean so just enjoy the campaign. Note that you don't need to beat them with Ajax's army specifically.

Diomedes of Argos

A Deal They Can't Refuse
Playing as Argos, confederate a faction by spending 200 Dominance.

Diomedes gets a unique faction resource called Dominance which is collected from special missions. Once it reaches its cap of 200, you can spend it all to "persuade" a weaker faction to confederate with you.

Surpassed Tydeus
Playing as Argos, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Diomedes' Epic Missions will place him around both Thebes AND Troy so you'll get a lot of good options to expand.

Faction Achievements - Trojans

Hector of Troy

Protector of Ilion
Playing as Hector of Troy, achieve the highest level of Trojan Alliance

Hector has a unique faction mechanic where the more territories his military allies possess, the stronger his faction becomes. In other words, the amount of territory you possess yourself is irrelevant. Make friends with all the Trojan factions (Troy, Paris of Troy, Dardania, Ilion Hyrtacidae, Ilion Imbrasos, Methymna, Tereia, Aegaan Pelasgians etc.) and Hippolyta's Amazons and gift them territories you don't need. You can find the "Trade Regions" option if you're bordering them on the Diplomacy screen. Once your allies' collective regions reach 60, you'll get this achievement.

Of the Shining Helm
Playing as Hector of Troy, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Is this considered alternate history? :P

Paris of Troy

Marriage Over Lust
Playing as Paris of Troy, have neglected status with Aphrodite and worshipped status with Hera or Athena.

Get your favor levels with either Athena or Hera over 600 while Aphrodite's is less than 50. This is a reference to how Paris gave the Golden Apple to Aphrodite rather than Athena or Hera.

An Arrow to the Heel
Playing as Paris of Troy, wound Achilles in battle with Paris present.

Kill Achilles or wipe out his army/garrison while Paris is leading or reinforcing your main army. This can be auto-resolved.

Sole Heir
Playing as Paris of Troy or Hector of Troy, win a campaign where you declared war on your brother on turn 1.

While you can do this achievement with either of the brothers, Paris is better for it since his Homeric Victory doesn't have missions related to being friends with Hector. Simply declare war on your brother on Turn 1 and, since he's right next to you, feel free eliminate him. Note, however, that you don't need to wipe him out for the achievement to trigger (thanks Sologhi for checking this). Remember that this move will tank your reliability as Hector is an ally of Troy who is YOUR defensive ally (dad will always take Hector's side) and the entire Trojan world will consider this a great betrayal. Basically, you're in for a very uncertain and dangerous game.

Godlike Alexandros
Playing as Paris of Troy, achieve a Homeric victory.

Certainly feels good to get this achievement after that ♥♥♥♥-show, doesn't it?

Aeneas of Dardania

Speak to the Divine
Playing as Dardania, complete a mission for each god over a single campaign.

Aeneas has a special mechanic that allows him to ask for omens from the gods. Whenever you do, you'll get three missions given out by different deities. They're mostly like "defeat this enemy hero" or "kill X number of enemies". Simply complete one mission for each god and you'll get the achievement. Which god gives out the mission is random so this can take a few dozen turns.

Speak to the Dead
Playing as Dardania, unlock all dead heroes in Stygian Voices.

Aeneas can also ask for assistance from dead heroes from a screen called Stygian Voices. While 3 are unlocked from the beginning of the game, the rest will demand you to achieve certain requirements like conquer a certain settlement, train chariots, reach rank 25 etc. Unfortunately, a lot of these heroes in Stygian Voices are still alive in the game and to get this achievement, you need to make them very much not alive. Your main task here is to destroy EVERY playable faction. Nope, confederating them doesn't count. All 11 other main factions need to be wiped out INCLUDING your Trojan allies. If someone is confederated, you can simply destroy the faction that did the confederating and you'll get both heroes in your Stygian Voices.

Destiny Awaits
Playing as Dardania, achieve a Homeric Victory.

I find Aeneas' faction achievements the most tiring to get since all three of these achievements (including his Epic Missions) require you to take over basically the entire map. That's why he's also a good candidate if you want to do the Realm Conqueror achievement.

Sarpedon of Lycia

Bamboozle
Playing as Lycia, break 5 barter agreements in a single campaign.

Sarpedon has an interesting mechanic where if you make barter agreements (trade deals) with other factions, you slowly gain influence with them. If this reaches a certain threshold (around 30%), you gain access to the "Advise Frugality" and "Manipulate Commerce" options in the Lycian Trade Missions screen. If that faction you have influence with has a barter agreement with another faction, you can "Advise Frugality" which will break that deal. Do that five times and you'll get this achievement. Note that your own barter agreements can be for just 1 food over 10 turns and you'll still gain influence. You can even stack the same trade deal over and over again. I'm not sure if the more resources you give, the faster the influence builds up but I got good enough results with this method. It'll take around 10 turns for your influence to be high enough.

Yoink
Playing as Lycia, steal 5 barter agreements in a single campaign

This uses the same method as above but instead of "Advise Frugality", you'll use "Manipulate Commerce". This will steal that faction's trade deal and make you the recipient instead. Technically, this option requires higher influence to activate but you'll get there soon enough as long as you have active barter agreements going on.

Heir of Two Kingdoms
Playing as Lycia, achieve a Homeric Victory.

A lot of your Epic Missions will deal with just the island of Crete and will have very little to do with the main Trojan War. The most peaceful and quiet campaign TBH.

Faction Achievements - Amazons

Hippolyta of the Amazons

The Amazon achievements can be done by both Hippolyta and Penthesilea but I wouldn't recommend you to do them with Penthesilea as her faction mechanics somewhat limit this kind of achievement-oriented tomfoolery.

All the Queen's Horses
Playing as Hippolyta's Amazons or Penthesilea's Amazons, win a battle with an army that contains only mounted units.

The Amazons are unique in that they can't get their top tier units immediately. They have to train low tier units and upgrade them to higher tier ones once they have enough experience. So for now, recruit 19 Amazon Chargers and once they reach rank 4 and you've built the Warhorse Field, upgrade them all to Horsewomen. Win any battle and the achievement will pop up. After that, feel free to distribute these units to other armies for a more balanced composition. Horsewomen can upgrade further into really good chariots later on.

Daughters of Ares
Playing as Hippolyta's Amazons or Penthesilea's Amazons, win a battle an army that contains only Amazon units which cannot be upgraded.

If you look at the Initiation Rites screen, you'll see that not all units upgrade all the way to the coveted top tier. Upgrade paths (for Hippolyta) like Initiates -> Warmaidens or Amazon Swordswomen -> Korynites or Stoneslingers -> Shielded Stoneslingers/Huntresses only end in the mid-tier. You want to field an army entirely of these mid tier units and win a battle. For Penthesilea, this is a time consuming and costly venture while Hippolyta can pretty easily waste her time like this especially in the late game. Note that these units are inferior compared to the top tier ones and really don't have a place in the strongest Amazon armies.


For Themiscyra!
Playing as Hippolyta's Amazons or Penthesilea's Amazons, win a battle for the settlement of Athens.

Simply attack and win the battle at Athens. It doesn't matter what you do with it as long as you win.


A Queen's Legacy
Playing as Hippolyta's Amazons, achieve a Homeric Victory.

Hippolyta has a pretty cool campaign story-wise about building a new kingdom. Definitely one of my favorites.

Penthesilea of the Amazons

Making Sacrifices
Playing as Penthesilea's Amazons, gain War Spoils for each god

So I've been alluding to how Penthesilea's faction is pretty unique compared to other ones. Let me finally explain. She can't settle any settlements. If you've played other Total War games, especially Attila and Warhammer, you'll know that there are horde factions whose sole purpose is to destroy the world. That's Penthesilea's role in Troy. Her hordes can't reinforce each other making them very vulnerable but her troops can potentially have some of the highest stats in the game. Since she doesn't really have an economy, this aspect is balanced with the feature that once she razes any settlement in the game, she'll get a very nice bonus whether it be raw resources, vision over the area, mythical units OR, most importantly for us, divine favor with one of the gods. You want to find and destroy settlements that'll give favor for each of the Olympian gods and you'll get the achievement. You can find a helpful tracker on the War Spoils screen or you can just check for that god's symbol next to the settlement name.

Vengeance Incarnate
Playing as Penthesilea's Amazons, achieve a Homeric Victory.

I love horde factions in general so Penthesilea's campaign of just destroying the world, economy be damned, is the most fun one for me.

DLC Achievements - Rhesus & Memnon

The last DLC for A Total War Saga: TROY is here! Let's get down to cracking these achievements.

Rhesus of Thrace

Countless Hosts of Thrace
Playing as Rhesus, have 6 Countless Host armies at one time.

Rhesus has a unique mechanic that allows him to spawn 6 low tier, very cheap armies at certain settlements. While they're not particularly impressive on their own, the bonuses they get later on can make them tactically extremely strong. To take advantage of this mechanic, you want as many "forested settlements" as possible (minor settlements that produce wood). The more you collect, the higher your tier becomes for a maximum of 6 tiers. Each tier gives you a slot for one Countless Host. Simply conquer 20 forested settlements and you can get 6 Countless Hosts. Take note that there's a 5 turn cooldown and a 4000 food and 10 Devotion cost to summoning these armies. More on Devotion below.

The Old Gods Speak
Playing as Rhesus, spend at least 100 Devotion.

Rhesus can gather Devotion, his unique resource, and spend it on powerful faction-wide effects and unique units. To collect devotion, you need to:
1) Enact Religious Mysteries (you can find this in the Thracian Rituals tab on the top side of the screen or Shift+2 alternatively)
2) Defeat enemy armies while having an Offering to an Olympian God active (also in Thracian Rituals)
3) Complete Epic Missions

After collecting Devotion, you can then spend it on either things you like at the Thracian Rituals tab or by purchasing Countless Hosts. I personally recommend getting the elite units in Sacred Initiations as they're permanent. Note that the achievement requires you to SPEND Devotion and not simply collect it. Besides, there's no benefit in having a surplus of Devotion.

Thrace Triumphant
Playing as Rhesus, achieve Homeric Victory.

Rhesus' Homeric Victory requires three conditions:

1. Complete 13 Epic Missions
These are pretty straightforward as you'll mostly be making your way into the Achaean heartland from the northern regions of the map. For me, the most annoying mission here is destroying Phthia, Achilles' faction. Other than that, it's mostly taking over specific settlements and using Rhesus' unique mechanics.

2. Destroy Mycenae, Argos and Ithaca
Pretty straightforward. The unfortunate implication here is that you'll basically be eliminating almost every major Achaean faction and that might take a while.

3. Control 4 or more Countless Host armies
This should come pretty easily as long as you're taking advantage of the Countless Hosts.

And that concludes Rhesus!

Memnon of Aethiopia

Fame Everlasting
Playing as Memnon, raze 10 settlements with "Fame" War Spoils.

Memnon, along with Penthesilea, are the only Horde factions in the game. This means that he can't settle cities and can only wander around the map destroying settlements. Each settlement has a unique reward attached to it called War Spoils. You'll find an icon that looks like a woman riding horse on the top toolbar or, alternatively, you can press Shift+F4, to see the War Spoils menu. Second on the bottom row, you'll see a hand raising up a laurel. That's Fame. Memnon has a unique recruitment mechanic that'll allow him to call for reinforcements from Egypt, Aethiopia, Canaan and Susa. Fame increases the reinforcements you'll get. Click on the Fame icon on the War Spoils screen to find the nearest settlement that offers it (through its destruction) and make sure to keep calling for reinforcements so you can take advantage of your massive recruitment pool. Fame settlements are pretty spread out so this achievement might take some time.

Doom that crossed the sea
Playing as Memnon, have at least 10 Sherden Warriors recruited in your armies.

Sherden Warriors are elite medium infantry that are both tanky and can deal high damage. You'll be able to recruit them from the region of Susa which is unlocked through the technology, "Tithonus' Companions", on the bottom right side of the Royal Decree screen. After unlocking the tech, you can call for reinforcements from Susa which will add a grand total of ONE Sherden Warrior into your recruitment pool. You'll need to wait three turns until you can recruit again. That means it'll take 30 turns to get this achievement OR you could also research Greater Eastern Caravans (right next to Tithonus' Companions) which will let you summon TWO Sherden Warriors in one go. All in all, 15-30 turns are necessary to get the achievements with these extremely deadly soldiers.

The Adventurer King
Playing as Memnon, achieve Homeric Victory.

Memnon's Homeric Victory requires three conditions:

1. Complete 13 Epic Missions
Memnon's missions are pretty easy as they take you on a natural path from Rhodes, to Crete, to Sparta and, finally, to Pteleon, Achilles' capital. Make sure to make friends with the Trojan side and you're set.

2. Raze Mycenae and Pteleon
These cities will naturally be in your warpath while you're doing your Epic Missions.

3.Unlock all of Pharaoh's Servants territories
The following are the regions you'll need to unlock and how you can go about them:
3.1 Memphis - Reach Tier 4 in your main horde building (Hero's Retinue)
3.2 Thebes - Research Route to the Upper Kingdom in the central section of the tech tree
3.3. Yeha - Research Army of Greater Aethiopia in the top right section of the tech tree
3.4 Megiddo - Research Canaanite Brothers in the bottom left section of the tech tree
3.5 Ugarit - Build the Canaanite building chain (soldier carrying a large rectangular shield) and level it up to Tier 4
3.6 Susa - Research Tithonus' Companions in the bottom right section of the tech tree

Congrats! That's all of Memnon's achievements.

Miscellaneous

Apollo's Plague
Defeat someone who already has this achievement in any multiplayer battle.

It's finally here, the dreaded multiplayer achievement. As far as I know, there's only three ways to get this achievement:

1. You might have unknowingly been gifted this achievement as CA could have randomly given it out already. However, Steam statistics shows that there's only 0.1% of players who have Apollo's Plague so this isn't likely for most of us.
2. Search for someone who has this achievement on the game's Discussions page and arrange a friendly match. Given that the multiplayer scene is pretty much dead, this is also going to be hard.
3. Take the easy way out and use Steam Achievements Manager to unlock it. This is a separate program that alters achievements histories and it isn't banned or even frowned upon by Valve. However, you'll just have to live with the knowledge that you didn't legitimately get this achievement.

I have checked the game files and I can confirm that the three achievements involving the capture of Troy (Broken Prophecy, Poseidon's Wrath, and My Kingdom for a Horse) require you to be a Daanan faction to trigger.

Finally, I managed to get "Poseidon's Wrath" by playing as Ajax (Salamis) so it is possible to require a Danaan faction indeed.

Actually I did all three "My Kingdom for a Horse", "Broken Prophecy" and "Poseidon's Wrath" in the same game by loading a savegame and trying a different approach each time.

I notice that initiating Odysseus Ruse will postpone indefinitely Poseidon Strike (obviously as they take place on different kind of map). I got the Poseidon Anger Grows message, then I confederated Odysseus and for 80-90 turns Poseidon Strike never came. I had to fail a siege with Trojan Horse in order to trigger Poseidon Strike. (We need more confirmation for this of course)

Does anybody knows if the "Poseidon's Wrath" has any extra requirement(s) other than the aforementioned? With Memnon (Mythos) and Hippolyta (Truth behind Myth) it did not unlock for me. May be has to be done with a Danaan faction?

-Sometimes you will obtain a realm trait without ever triggering the realm mission. This is the issue why the achievement isn't triggering, what is relevant for the achievement is completing all 11 missions, not obtaining the traits! I'm not sure what is preventing the mission from triggering. To avoid any bugs, run a fresh campaign to obtain the achievement and keep track of all realm missions. If you obtain a realm trait without ever obtaining/completing its corresponding mission, load your previous save, abandon some settlements in the realm and repopulate them, hopefully you will obtain the realm mission at the beginning of the turn.
-What I actually did to obtain the achievement was to make a mod that removes all realm missions except for one (in my case Propontis), load a save game where I was about to complete the realm mission and conquer the last settlement.

Thanks for this awesome guide! I have just completed the last achievement for the game "Realm Conqueror", which as another user pointed out isn't triggering correctly. Some info on how to trigger it (you should update the guide since there are actually 13 realms):

-There are 13 realms in the game: The Northern Peloponnese realm actually consists of the Mycenae and Argos realms! Argos and Thrace realms were added in the Rhesus & Memnon DLC.
-The achievement only requires you to complete the realm missions for the original 11 realms: Mycenae, Attica, Boeotia, Crete, Cyclades, Euboea, Miletus, Propontis, Rhodes, Thessalia and Troad.
-When you complete each mission, your faction leader will obtain a trait called "Anax of ___". All traits can be seen in the character panel. This trait can be lost if you lose the realm capital, but you will recover it once you reconquer all required settlements.
