Increase Carryweight (Encumbrance)

This guide will allow you changing the carryweight via encumbrance command. By this you won't change you player stats, BUT you have to type it everytime you start the game! Have fun!

Command

SetGameSetting fActorStrengthEncumbranceMult XXX

Just replace the XXX by a factor, that you want and tada, you are no longer relying on the default and strength based carryweight without changing any of your stats, that would affect your character and/or fights.

Improvement to Baboo85's solution you dont really need the .txt at the end.
Create the notepad and delete the .txt later
i have a file called only "c" on my game directory and i only write bat c

Easiest way is to create a txt with that command in the Oblivion main folder, like carryweight.txt.
Then open the console and type bat carryweight.txt.

Oblivion is the only TES game that Carry Weight was never an issue for me. Probably just because the map is so small and the cities are so close that there was always a convenient option to stop off and drop loot at my houses or sell it. But nice to know this exists.

I believe this will change it for every creature in the game, so strength-damaging spells like burden likely won't work.
