Nekojishi Limited Edition Install Guide (Aka the SEX EDITION)

I heard about this version of the game existing and thought, you know what, I'm curious, what does it actually change? Well, I went on a looooong search. Because it took forever, why not share this sh!t with the world.

Introduction

So, you've come to see how to download the Limited version of Nekojishi, you've come to the right place! As you can see from the description, this is for those who don't want to bother with going on a dramatic search to find a simple little file.

This isn't a whole "update" of sorts. It is a simple patch, but definitely adds more content. Which I shall go over now...

Added Content Run-Down

Alright, let's go over the stuff added in this patch.
(Any spoilers shall be covered for those who don't want to see!)

1) There is 3 extra cgs added to the game, one with Lin Hu (There is two extra versions of this cg when you click on the image in the gallery,) another with Likulau (There is two extra versions of this cg when you click on the image in the gallery) and another with Lin Hu with Shu-Chi (There is one extra version of this cg when you click on the image in the gallery.)

2) There are added sprites for all characters, both full body sprites and face sprites next to the text box.

3) There are slight dialogue and story changes. I shall proceed to describe them...
Instead of having the confession scene with Lin Hu, you strengthen your bond through sex (of course.) This is the same for Likulau. In the "true ending" with Shu-Chi, Lin Hu shall give Shu-Chi his own chi through of course, a sex scene while possessing your body. Simple stuff, there are other small dialogue changes referencing these different scenes.

Installing the Patch

First off, of course, you'll need to actually download the game patch. It's a simple file, and is very easy to install. You can get it from here -->

Here's what you should've downloaded:



Once you have that downloaded, simply follow these steps.

1) Go into your steam library, and right click on Nekojishi, press this option on the small pop up menu. This will open the properties menu.



2) From the properties menu, open the local files sub-menu and click on browse.



3) This should open the folder titled "game". open the game files folder.



4) Simply drag in the patch file into this folder. That's it. Make sure it is in specific folder, or else it won't work.

Playing the Limited Edition

When you reload the game/ open it, you will be greeted by this screen. If you would like to continue with the 18+ patch and are of age to do so, do continue.



Standard Edition

This is what it'll look like when you're in "standard edition" mode. A green button with an "S" in the middle. This is where if while playing the game, you shall not experience any of the changed scenes and dialogue (for if you don't wanna see that today... or are playing infront of some other people.)



Limited Edition

This is what it'll look like when you're in "limited edition" mode. A red button with an "L" in the middle. This is where if while playing the game, you will experience the changed scenes and dialogue.



Note: Once you add the patch file and get the cgs, when switched to standard mode the cgs will still be in the gallery. Just to note.

so i had followed the guide step by step accordingly, however when i tried opening the game up after dragging the file into the folder, it tells me there's an error. any thoughts?

you guys have to add the file into the "game" folder and it should work because it just worked for me

Ok I will try to play it with a guide to get the right endings.

Screen turning black is pretty normal in some scenes I believe? To get the cgs you'll need to get : Shu-Chi's true ending, where you strengthen your bond with Lin-Hu, then Likulau, then Lin-Hu sharing his chi with Shu-Chi , as that should contain all the scenes where the cgs appear.

Mhh is maybe something broken? I can change to Limited Edition with the Red L but there seem to be no extra CGs so far but I had some moments where the screen turned Black and I still had some text boxes, is that normal and I just played the wrong route?
