how to beat Big Chunk

OK so big chunk is made out of rock right?
so instead of using your sword or night blade or whatever use a pickaxe. Why not use a adamanite pickaxe?
Every time you hit big chunk it well do critical damage!
Just wanted to let all first time players
Maybe get good loot!

This only works early game really. later on as you get stronger youll do much more damage with a weapon.
just tried it out on my current run rn, and my adamantine pick does between 300 - 400 damage, while my chief's spear will knock out half his health in a single swipe.
learn how the powerups work too, the wings + increased damage when moving fast make you do insane damage later.
after getting some frog and jetpack powerups you can literally jump over Big Chunk and beat him down from above him
