Guide containing all 14 bosses in the game and how to beat each and every one of them on Prince of Darkness Difficulty.

Welcome to my personal Boss Combat In-Depth guide!

This guide is pretty straightforward, I'll be showing you how to beat all bosses in the game. The only thing you will possibly need in order to beat them is the knowledge. Once you understand each and every one of them you will find everything else easy. But let's start already.

I'll keep things brief over here as all the information will be in the videos.

Last important bit of information:

The content in this guide contains heavy spoilers, you are watching at your own risk. Can't use spoiler tags because they defeat the purpose of the guide's structure. I did my best not to make the guide content easily spottable.

I highly recommend the search feature (Ctrl+F) so you can find the boss you need information on without showing the others (much).

Boss 1

The Golden Paladin


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Low
Name: Roland de Ronceval

The Paladin is the first boss in the game. He's is fairly easy and shouldn't give much trouble. This battle is mostly a tutorial to prepare you for what's to come.

Boss 2

Stone Golem


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Low
Name: Inner Dracula

Another tutorial-like boss. However this boss can indeed kill you if you aren't careful.

Boss 3

Raisa Volkova 1st Encounter


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Name: Raisa Volkova

Raisa can be a little tricky at first but once you start learning her trick, you should be fine. Don't forget to freeze her when she goes hyper speed and be alert for her attacks as they can be tricky.

Boss 4

Gorgon Sisters


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Names: Euryale, Stheno, and Medusa

This boss can be hard if you don't pay attention to their attacks. The battle consists of some segments fighting, others climbing to take out their heads.

Boss 5

Carmilla


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Name: Carmilla

Carmilla can be either a fun boss or a total nightmare, it all depends on how you approach her and deal with her arnenal of moves. This boss has various combat stages and they are all explained in the video.

Boss 6

Raisa Volkova 2nd Encounter


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Name: Raisa Volkova

Second battle against Raisa but this time against her true form. This boss can be difficult if you don't play cautiously. But as soon as you learn her tricks, she should be fairly easy.

Boss 7

Agreus


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderately High
Name: Agreus

Agreus is difficulty as he can be fairly strong and fast. But it's the same as the others, you just need to learn his moves and you will have good chances against him.

Boss 8

Toy Maker


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Name: ???

The Toy Maker is a challenging boss and a fun one as well. This battle is composed of various stages from battling his puppets to bringing down the Puppet Master.

Boss 9

Abaddon


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderately Low
Name: Abaddon

This boss isn't that difficult once you learn the patterns and moves. Mist Form beats most of his attacks and he's very predictable yet big.

Boss 10

Victor Belmont


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderately High
Name: Victor Belmont

Victor is a fun yet challenging boss. You are basically facing your former self here. It all comes to how fresh you really are when it comes to the first Lords of Shadow.

Boss 11

Inner Dracula


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Name: Inner Dracula

This boss is easy as long as you stay on focus. Don't forget to not use Mist Form against his Absorption attack as that will lead to an instant death.

Boss 12

Riders of the Storm


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderately High
Name: Nergal Meslamstea

This battle is against the second acolyte, who animated the statues of the Riders of the Storm so can stand a chance against you at your home territory. And he sure does have it.

The Riders will battle you at once. Each one of them have signature moves which are unique to them. But as you keep damaging them, you will began to break them one by one, until you are just facing a single rider.

Boss 13

Death


Boss Information:

Difficulty: Moderate
Name: Zobek

This saga's rendition of Death and a damn great one it is. Easily amongst the best version of Death in everything in existence. Anyway, this boss can be challenging if you aren't careful. Other than that his attacks are easy to deal with and Mist Form renders most of them useless.

Final Boss

Boss Information:

Difficulty: High
Name: ♥♥♥♥♥

The final boss in the game. ♥♥♥♥♥ possessed Alucard and makes you battle your own son.

This boss is by far the hardest in the game. Has a lot of health and the battle itself has no checkpoints which means you need to kill him in one turn.

Most of his attacks are unblockable and somewhat tedious to get used to. Try learning them the best you can so you have better chances to survive.

thank you for the tips for Inner Dracula! i'd never thought or used mist form in a fight and it made it very intense action! especially using it against the golem shell to string ALOT of aerial attacks together!
