Karliah bug fix (console commands) - Thieves Guild/ Trinity Restored

One of most occuring and annoying bug which makes progressing Thieves Guild impossible. This happens because Karliah walks who knows where, instead of heading towards the altar and opening the gate. This guide will show you how to summon Karliah and easily trigger Nocturnal event using console commands.

Trinity Restored - triggering event with Nocturnal

The chain to open the altar can be only activated by Karliah. To solve this we need to disable the gate first and later summon her to our location using console command codes.
At the start simply progress with the quest normally, until you encounter the mentioned problem, if you saved the game after it occured and she's away, that's not a problem. We will summon her by certain console commands.
Be sure that the gates are in your field of view, or simply just stand next to them!

1. Activate the console by pressing [`]
2. Using the mouse try to aim on the gate and simply click once the left mouse button, until these parameters show up: " (000c698a) "


3. Type 'disable' and press Enter. This should open the gate, but still we need Karliah for the quest, so please progress with the next steps!


4. Type 'setstage tg08a 52' and press Enter

5. Type 'prid 00058f1a' and press Enter

6. Type 'moveto player' and press Enter





If you done everything correctly, the quest should progress further.

In the guide's content, there is a typo. The command "prid" is required to select a target. The correct ID to select Karliah is 00058f1a. Now it should work for you

I've been trying to apply all the process as you mention it, however, Once I get into the "prid 00058fla" step, the console says that that the object 00058fla was not found for parameter ObjectReferenceID. I don't know how to make it works :'(
