Glossary
There are three types of "Borderless Gaming Malfunctions"

First one, the "Game is not Stretching Accordingly" which we'll identify with this circle "◯", because you can easily go back to the windowed mode (Example: Answered Prayers, with the game window being on the top left with everything else being in a black screen).
(It's good to note that the position of the game does not matter, it could be centered, top left, whatever. Something good about this problem is that you can use Sizer to help and fix it. It will look stretched, but it will work. For more info check out the Sizer section).

For those who are a little more though and want to experience a major issue (example being stutters, crashes, game window dissapearing when alt tabbing, etc), we'll mark them down with a triangle, "▲", because they're complicated for no reason. Example: Fallout New Vegas (experiencing stutters, FPS drops and sometimes crashes when loading a quicksave)

And for the worst kind of games, the absolute rebels who ADORE to not let themselves get some love, being stupidly innacesible with this program, they'll be tagged with an "✖". Never run programs with Borderless Gaming when they're tagged with "THE MARK" the one and only "✖". Example: Main Series Touhou games. They REALLY adore making you turn off your pc to close the game/force fullscreen (not borderless) and straight up mess everything or if it's useless to even run BGaming.

Meanwhile, games that have possible fixes will be marked down with a "!!!". These fixes will be listed at the bottom of the guide, at the "Specific Game Fixes" section.

TL;DR -
  • ◯ ~ Game Runs but refuses to be stretched or nothing happens
  • ▲ ~ Game Runs and is playable but it experiences a major issue
  • ✖ ~ HARBINGER OF DEATH, NEVER RUN THIS WITH BORDERLESS GAMING (AKA: THE "TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER BECAUSE YOUR RESOLUTION IS NOW CRINGE AND YOU CAN'T CLOSE THE GAME UNLESS YOU TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER" (Includes crashes)
  • !!! ~ Fix available for this game, check the "Specific Game Fixes" section at the bottom of the guide

The reason why I use these symbols is to save up characters for the list lol
I recommend doing CTRL + F because keeping up with the ABC order while including links is a little messy, specially when there are special characters involved.

~ Sizer
Sizer[www.brianapps.net] by Brian Apps
Sizer is a tool to make "any" window any size you want, and I say "any" under quotes because it's just like borderless gaming. Sometimes it doesn't works, but when it works, it really works. Althought this software is a little uh "uncomfortable" to use, as it only works with your current window (see image, underlined with red) and you also need to configure a "profile" so if you make for example a 400x400 res just to meme around and you accidentally apply that to your web browser with nine hundred tabs, it will be a little annoying, but nothing too hard to fix. Something else worth to mention is that you control the software by right clicking it in your tray but hey, if sizer works, then you won't have the circle problem where the game doesn't stretches out properly. Enjoy a pic of the config
~ AutoSizer
Originally posted by DoktorFar:
Instead of "Sizer" you can use another program called "AutoSizer" which will resize all windows you have it setup to resize, not just the current one (like the guide mentions is a limitation of Sizer program). AutoSizer is also free and in my experience works really good for many games.

I believe this is the author of AutoSizer: http://www.southbaypc.com/AutoSizer/

The reason I suggested it was that I read in the guide that Sizer only worked for the current window, while I know for at fact that AutoSizer works for any window you have it configure to autosize. It also supports position, bring to front, keep on top and choose between either object class or title match (exact). And also free just like Sizer.

I have to run it as administrator or it doesnt work, thought I should mention that.
~ PCGamingWiki
PCGamingWiki[www.pcgamingwiki.com]AKA the holy bible
This is totally not a sponsor™ but oh my god, y'all really don't know how much this page saved me.
Basically, the PCGamingWiki usually informs the user if X game has a borderless function or not, common bugs and possible fixes, community patches, etc. Sometimes even devs add the details of their games! (Spelunky 2 being one of those games). I want to take Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut as an example on how useful the wiki can be, placing the "Essential Improvements" and linking A LOT of useful stuff at the top, becoming more and more technical near the end. Please, give it a try with a game you played before! My personal recommendations to check out the page are mostly Remasters because you can easily check the technical differences of the original and remastered/remake or check Bethesda games because they're exploitable and buggy as ♥♥♥♥.
~ How To Call Windowed Mode on Fullscreen
This is a very old trick and will be useless for some people, but whenever you're fullscreen, you can press ALT + ENTER and it usually makes the game windowed! (unless the developer of the game decides not to let you do that, in that case, aww)

Literally the reason why I'm doing this guide, to spread the word about this precious patch[www.nexusmods.com] that saved my life, as I was experiencing Stuttering in New Vegas with Borderless Gaming (Fallout 3 worked out fine surprisingly)

Basically, when you download the zip, it will contain a .exe file. All you have to do is move it to your Fallout 3/NV folder, the exact folder where the game is, and that's literally it! All you do now is just open the game with "Fallout_Fullscreen.exe"

If your game is modded with NVSE (New Vegas Script Extender), don't worry, Fallout_Fullscreen will automatically launch with it, thus enabling all steam freatures aswell.

~ Alternative Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas (and also Skyrim LE)
According to user @Bebop the "Onetweak" mod is better than the one I previously listed. I personally haven't tested it myself, but yeah.

◯ ~ Game Runs but refuses to be stretched
▲ ~ Game Runs and is playable but it experiences a major issue

Thank you for checking my guide! If you had any "bad experiences" you want to share for the list, feel free to write it down in the comments and I will happily add them! (PLEASE read the section above before doing so k ty)

✖ Game will go into border less after a while but will eventually freeze the game and your cursor will be invisible until a restart.

Is The Binding of Isaac Rebirth still busted on Borderless Fullscreen? This is the only place I've seen it mentioned as a problem.

Fallout 4

Resolution blows up to way larger than your computers resolution no matter if you manualy set the resolution in the Borderless Gaming app or set it on auto. As a fix I think you can manually change the resolution in the game files

It's semi incompatible with Mafia 3 Definitive Edition. If you tab out of the game it will break the window location
