How to play Flag Bearer

Rally the troops. Fly your faction's standard to support the rank and file.

Step 1: Pick Flag Bearer

Flag Bearer lore:

The flag bearers carry the standard of their faction into battle, motivating the Rank & File to pour shots into the enemy at an ever increasing pace. Their flags provide an AoE bonus that extends to approximately compass range. Armed with a pistol and sabre, they can defend themselves if need be, or humiliate their enemies by slicing them up with their flags.

What the flag doin???

Parade your faction's colours in the field of battle. You improve the rate at which firearms are reloaded for the rank and file by 10% when your flag is equipped.
Unlike Musicians, this does not stack with multiple flag bearers



Linebattle 2.0 Update:
» The flagbearer now comes with a new passive ability ‘Regimental Honours’ which allows those in the rank and file for their reloads to go uninterrupted if maimed by a shot from a firearm.
» Flagbearers are now able to wield their flag while also having a sword or a pistol equipped. Press ‘Q’ than select your desired weapon to show your dominance.

Step 2? Find somewhere to hide

idk just find somewhere to hide, try to be as useless as possible and do some occasional killing ONLY to defend yourself of course. Make yourself a small target by using sit or surrender emote.
ALWAYS JOIN DEFENDERS ON SIEGE MAPS



If possible, find a swivel cannon so you can get some cheeky kills (You still earn assists if you're holding flag while aiming on the swivel)

Step 3: PROFIT

Results may vary on map and mode and how good your team is at shooting.

Step 4: Huzzah

Congratulations, you're a piece of ♥♥♥♥ flag bearer like me! There really isn't much to it. This is probably the most straight forward class. Equip your flag and hang out where the majority of your team is and rack up assists. Try to fend off Cavalry with the flag's long reach or watch your teammates get mowed down. Now get out there and make top 3-5 each round while being as useless as possible!
