Introduction

Hello! This guide will help you cheat in Age of Mythology's single player scenarios. They do not work in multiplayer matches!

First of all, cheating is not necessarily good. It might even break your game if you do it excessively or it could make everything too easy.

To enter a cheat code, press ENTER during your gameplay session and type in the code. Note that every cheat must be written with CAPS LOCK

Note: Achievements will be locked for the cheating session.

JUNK FOOD NIGHT - 1000 food
TROJAN HORSE FOR SALE - 1000 wood
ATM OF EREBUS - 1000 Gold
NINJACONNOR - 100,000 each resource, maxes population cap, unlimited god power castings, 100x build/research speeds (Extended Edition only)
ENGINEERED GRAIN - Instantly fattens herd animals
SET ASCENDANT - Show animals on map (worship Set in order to control the animals)
MOUNT OLYMPUS - Maximum Favor

God powers

BAWK BAWK BOOM - Chicken Meteor
FEAR THE FORAGE - Walking berry bushes
GOATUNHEIM - Turn all units into goats
WRATH OF THE GODS - Lightning Storm, Earthquake, Meteor and Tornado god powers
PANDORAS BOX - Random god powers

DIVINE INTERVENTION - Renews God Power usage

Environment

LAY OF THE LAND - Reveals map
UNCERTAINTY AND DOUBT - Hides map
LETS GO! NOW! (two spaces between GO! and NOW) - Fast game speed
CONSIDER THE INTERNET - Slows game speed
IN DARKEST NIGHT - Cycles through four different light settings
RED TIDE - Makes the water turn red (Note: Using this cheat turns fish into locust swarms).
TINFOIL HAT - Ownership of all units on the map are randomized
RESET BUTTON - All buildings on the map become un-built

Campaign/Scenario

THRILL OF VICTORY - Instant win (Scenario)
CHANNEL SURFING - Instant win (Campaign)

I doubt the devs will ever implement new cheat codes for this version of the game. You can try searching for mods though

Can a Cheat code be made that makes Naval Myth Creatures Amphibious, allow them to go onto land?

I don't know, sorry. As far as I know the cheat usage is very limited during the campaign.

is there a way to get the cheat called POWERS FROM DIYU to work in the original campaighn? there were only two levels where they worked; the first time when Arkantos entered erebbus and the second time when building thors hammmer.

I didn't know that you had to type in ALL CAPS.

If your game is crashing on launch, you can try this:

Right as you hit Play in the load up menu press ALT + ENTER at the same time
This should open the game in a windowed mode.
Once the game has loaded, go to the settings and input the correct sizing for your monitor and save.
Also while there check the box that says windowed mode.
Hit save and then restart the game. It should load normally after that.

The game crashes right after I lunch it and I tried multiple ways to fix it but no luck so far T_T

A quick Google search returned me the following method:

1. Start AOM
2. Alt tab out of game
3. Find game save, Mine = [C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age of Mythology\savegame]
4. Delete all unwanted saves and recordings.

alternatively,

1. Go to the properties of Age Of Mythology
2 .Go to the Updates tab
3. Uncheck the Steam Cloud box at the bottom
4. Go to Local Files tab
5. Locate the "savegame" folder
6. Delete the unwanted saves

Can anyone help me, to let me know how to delete saved games from age of mythology. As people playing Age of Mythology knows that while we all play, from time to time, we save that particular game and eventually are quite a lot of saved games there but we need to delete them. How do I do that ??? Thank you, Stefan L.
