My first Stranger role

Descriere
Many people have asked me how to create new roles for The Stranger (when you are a beginner in mod creation).

Here is a mod that you can easily copy/rename to quickly create another one that will add all the roles you want to Tainted Stranger.

You can find the IDs of the Binding of Isaac items on this site: https://platinumgod.co.uk/repentance

For the costumes, it's very simple : if you have the Old Wardrobe mod installed, you can go in the console and type "freecostumes" to have all the costumes of the items unlocked, and see their ID.

If you have published a mod that adds items to the game, it is very easy for you to add a function to your mod to create a role for The Stranger, so that he starts the game with your own items!

The only limit is your own imagination!

If you go to the folder with the game files there's a folder called mods in it, that should store the folder with the mod

Ah that's a shame. Just a limitation of character modding or the Stranger mod itself?
Would be nice to see an update that allows for like, 6 for example as it gives far more wiggle room for the things I had in mind.

Hi, are custom Strangers limited to only having 3 items (trinkets included) or can they have more? I had some ideas for roles I wanted to make but some of the silly gimmicks I wanted to go with would be limited by 3 items.. Just wanted to ask before potentially making a pack of my own. :reonion:

Mods are stored in the game files, the only place where you have folders for diffrent versions is in Documents which are not the game files. Just right click the game and look for "Browse Local files"
