Progression Achievements

These are achievements that are gained through normal progression. You can't really miss these on a standard play through since they're either required or super easy to get. You'd have to try really hard to not get some of them.

Regardless, I'll document them below.

                                                                  Can't Touch This

Description: Get an S-Rank medal on all Dodging Challenges.
Unlock method(s): Available in Professor Kat's classroom. Reach a minute in all challenges. First two shouldn't be too hard to beat. If you have any trouble, use high agility gear and characters like Shoy.

Quick note: damage scales on HP and defense, so it's not a good idea to take any equipment that affect them.

                                                
                                                                    Timing Expert

Description: Get an S-Rank medal on all Defense Challenges.
Unlock method(s): Available in Professor Fortunato's classroom. Reach a minute in all challenges. You can completely cheese this one by using the Near-sighted Reading Glasses since you're "technically" in the center. Every catch heals you so as long as you don't get stun-locked you should be able to beat all of them. Just don't use Suneko.

Quick note: damage also scales.

                                                
                                                           Professional Car Wrecker

Description: Get an S-Rank medal on all Strength Challenges.
Unlock method(s): Available in Professor Ma'kako's classroom. Reach a minute in all challenges. Easier of the three challenges. You can stick to the middle of the court and you'll be fine. Don't use Suneko here either.

                                                
                                                                     Teacher's Pet

Description: Get an S-Rank medal on all challenges.
Unlock method(s): Complete the above three achievements in one save.

                                                
                                                                   Ouch, My Head!

Description: Hit your head while rolling at a very high speed.
Unlock method(s): In the over world, go to where the infirmary is and spam the roll button to the right until you eventually hit a wall.

                                                
                                                                     Nice Reflexes

Description: Catch or counter 10 consecutive attacks without getting hit.
Unlock method(s): Easiest method is knocking out all opponents but one and sitting in the back of the court catching/countering. Big Tony's tournament is a pretty decent area to test this in. Otherwise, just practice your timing.

                                                
                                                          Can't I have some privacy?

Description: Beat all levels of the Bathroom game.
Unlock method(s): Pretty much bootleg rock, paper, scissors. It's up to luck. Spam catch until you get all the balls and then spam throw. Rinse and repeat. Focus isn't really a good idea half the time so don't bother.

                                                
                                                                 First-Class Rookie

Description: Defeat Boris during Episode 1.
Unlock method(s): Pretty easy when you realize his pattern. Focus isn't an issue here so just stick to the back of the court and dodge the balls. Don't bother catching. Then throw from the back of the court because it'll force him to try and catch early. Rinse and repeat.

                                                
                                                              What's your problem?

Description: Hit 10 people with a ball while outside of battle.
Unlock method(s): Throw balls at people you menace to society.

                                                
                                                                   Dodging Master

Description: Win a match without catching, countering, or getting hit.
Unlock method(s): Pick a fight with one of the easier opponents and beat them as usual. Remember to use jump/dodge often. I find it easy to achieve with Shoy.

                                                
                                                                    Caring Friend

Description: Use 10 items on a team member that loves them.
Unlock method(s): Hard to miss. If you don't have it yet, just use a bunch of blue ice popsicles on Suneko or something.

                                                
                                                                   A Helping Hand

Description: Complete all Side Quests.
Unlock method(s): Not too hard to miss. Just follow the game's story and complete all side quest objectives and you'll get it. Just make sure to do it in one save.

                                                
                                                                   All Geared Up!

Description: Collect every piece of Equipment.
Unlock method(s): This one will take awhile. I won't list every chest location in this guide but there are a few places where you will get equipment:

• Dodge Shop
  
• Chests
  
• Side Quests

Dodge shop restocks every episode so visit it often. Chests are scattered throughout the world. You only need the chests and not the trash cans. For locked chests, get Shoy and he'll unlock them for you. There's also a cheeky chest hidden behind the rooftop stairs. Make sure to grab that one. Complete side quests too as they will also have equipment rewards. Finally, you get one item near the halfway point in episode 8 after the tournament. Rest should be somewhere in the over world.

There are 72 equipment pieces total.

Description: Spend 100 bollars at the Dodge Shop.
Unlock method(s): Pretty straight-forward. You'll likely get this on your first run. You'll also get this if you're going for All Geared Up!

If you ever run out of money, you can farm at Big Tony's Den.

                                                
                                                             Underground Business

Description: Spend 100 bollars at Big Tony's Den.
Unlock method(s): Same as above but at Big Tony's Den.

Description: Spend 100 bollars at Cafeteria.
Unlock method(s): Same as above but at the Cafeteria.

For 'Ouch, My Head', I tried dozens of times through all 8 chapters and could not get it. Then I looked up a YouTube video, which does it in the Leisure area, going south from the shop onto the dock. I think a player may need to go down a staircase to get an extra boost of speed, or it's very finicky about what Otto needs to hit.

I am playing on Xbox series X and I am missing stinky underwear which is a reward for winning level 2 mini game in the bathroom. I still like to believe the Geared Up achievement is still bugged.

99.99% sure. Unless I can't count which is possible I guess. I went into my final save where I got the achievement and made sure to confirm. There are 72 pieces of equipment.

A reminder: on the news page they said something along the lines of "if you don't have it yet, buy something from the cafeteria" and you'll get it. Other than that, there's zero reason why you shouldn't have it yet.

Added a total count. If you're missing two then a good point of reference is either the mountain, the dome, or the back room of the science lab.

I saw it here, I have 70 pieces of equipment and I still haven't achieved the achievement. Could you count how many you have just so I know how many are left? tks
