Aiming
Note: There is an unknown base Spread Recovery Rate which the bonuses get added to. I dont think its 100% due to the large bonuses from Aiming.

A weapon that fires quickly over a short time, regardless if its automatic or not, builds up a spread rate which causes bullets to fire in a wider angle.

Some weapons fire so slow that you wont build up a spread rate and if you manage to kill your enemies with high DpS weapons before you are subject to your weapons spread rate, adding points to Aiming gives you almost no benefits.

A higher spread recovery rate allows you to fire longer before you are subject to spread rate but some weapons with smaller clip sizes may be fired empty before you reach the higher spread, also leading to getting no benefits from higher values.

And some enemies are bigger, causing a wider spread to still fully hit them and points into Aiming partial wasted.

As such, if you want to make better use of < large ammo clip sized > < high fire rate > weapons, put points into Aiming while killing enemies to find the sweet spot yourself.

This game has so many bugs it's frustrating! I can't even turn in 3 side missions for instance. Also what's pathetic is the lack of support for the game. We can't even discuss how buggy this game is in the discussions because it's disabled. I got the game on sale for $8 and honestly that's pushing it not because the game sucks (I like it actually a lot) but because of what I previously mentioned.

The actual Stats affect these too, and go beyond the 20 limit, 20 is just how much you can put into a skill by points, 40 to the actual "Stat", if you put 20 into both its corresponding skills. Almost all Stats can hit 50, and actually affect the sub-skills such as Evasion, allowing the numbers to reach higher than the Skills visually will tell you.

Stat numbers above 40 also affect duration/effectiveness/damage/number of projectiles of Augments further as well.

"there is no speed run skill in this game" evasion with critical hit and katanas, dragon joyride, shield bots, let's you just go ham and 1 shot a lot of stuff, also pocket mech for when you run out of energy/ too many swarm you :D

There's lots of fun little things i haven't tried yet, like using a mini gun + the skill that empties your entire clip in 1 second, rocket/ grenade launchers in general

Honestly, past a certain point - none of this matters.
Your least used are weapon switching and aim. Do those last.
First should be health, tactical sense, and body battery. These will help you the most no matter what your path to full upgrades is.
Then evasion, balance and critical hit rate mixed in during those ones, but not as focal points.

If you make it to level 30 in this game (most don't due to the bugs and what not), then just pick what you have left and upgrade one at a time. This will get you to about level 35 (a good spot to start the DLC), and then you can decide if a "New Game +" is something you want to do.

ehh, i just max whatever i need. it's not mindblowing stat or anything
extra crit, tac sense and reload is a must though, the other just use whatever you need

do gear bonuses apply on top of a maxed out stat, or will it only contribute towards the 20? I don't know if I should respec to allow for the points on gear, so they're not wasted and I can put the points elsewhere.
