How to play Tactical Intervention in 2021 [Unofficial]

You didn't misread the title. I'm here to bring that sweet, warm 2014-ish memories back.

Prologue

Idea behind playing TI after servers went down is to use RadminVPN

To-Do list

1. Download the game
   
2. Get RadminVPN
   
3. ??????
   
4. Profit

Download the game

If you own the game

Just get it from your library.

But remember:You'll need to launch the tacint_mapkit.exe from steamapps\common\TacticalIntervention\bin, because the version that launches trough steam doesn't support developer console

If you haven't played it before on your account

Join our Discord here [discord.gg], there's everything you might need.

After that use SSE Launcher.

You can change your nickname in SSE: File => Settings => Name

While the game is downloading...

Get yourself RadminVPN. Either from our discord, or from the internet. It's free after all.

1. Launch the RadminVPN.
   
2. Network => Join an existing network => Gaming Network
   
3. Type in "Tactical Intervention"
   
4. Join it.

Profit

1. Launch the game in the way mentioned above.
   
2. Open developer console by pressing tilda button (~).
   
3. Type in "connect" and hosting person's IP as in "connect 192.168.255.255"
   
4. Press enter.
