GTA 3 Rampage Guide

Guide to rampage locations, details and tips.

General tips

• Make sure your health and armour are maxxed out before you begin a rampage.
  
• Save before a rampage, if you die you can reload and you won't lose your weapons.
  
• If you can do these as early as possible, gang's upgrade their weapons at certain points and rampages become harder eg. Mafia only have pistols at the start of the game then gain Shotguns.
  
• If you use a controller, switch to standard control scheme (keyboard+mouse) for these as it makes for much lighter work.
  
• If you keep failing one particular rampage, stop breaking you stuff move to the next one :).

Portland

1) Kill 30 Diablos
Weapon: M16
Location 1: Alley behind Woody’s (opposite Luigi’s club).


Location 2: Corner south-east of basketball courts in Chinatown. (Recommended)

Tips: At location 1 stand on an empty vehicle, most of the Diablos have bats and won’t be able to touch you, however the spawn rate can be too low here. Location 2 is much easier, just pick them off from a distance and they don’t react.



2) Kill 20 Mafia
Weapon: AK-47
Location 1: East of Tony Cipriani’s restaurant where the Mafia Sentinel is parked, there is a “secret” area behind with an armour pickup, the rampage is opposite the parked Mafia Sentinel. (Recommended)


Location 2: The long alleyway a block south of location 1.

Tips: Do this before you get to the second island as after that the mafia get shotguns and this is almost impossible. If they are already carrying shotguns then stand on the ledge at location 1. Last but not least; armour up!


3) Destroy 10 vehicles
Weapon: Grenades
Location 1: On L-tracks in St. Marks, west from the station. (Recommended)


Location 2: On L-tracks in Trenton, south from St. Marks station.

Tips: Either block the road or get a wanted level so that you get a steady stream of police cars (you will lose the wanted level when you complete the rampage). If you are tossing ‘nades from the track then try and keep a car up there so you can zoom between the locations, at location 1 you can bounce ‘nades off of the building to get cars under the track. Oh and watch out for trains!


4) Kill 20 Triads
Weapon: Shotgun
Location 1: Alleyway next to Mean Street Taxi in Trenton.


Location 2: Behind the Hospital on a ledge.

Tips: You have a shotgun… they have bats and pistols… shred ‘em!


5) Destroy 13 Vehicles
Weapon: RPG
Location 1: Alleyway opposite the old school next to Callahan Bridge.


Location 2: Behind the wall of the building next to Greasy Joe’s in Callahan Point.

Tips: If you fail at this then just put down the game, GTA is not for you! Ok, ok, wear armour, try find a ledge as peds will attack you and it is really annoying.


6) Drive-by and kill 25 Triads
Weapon: Uzi
Location 1: Alleyway of the big building in the south-east corner of Chinatown.


Location 2: Bottom of the stairs at the Supasave. (Recommended)

Tips: Have a decent car, Police car is perfect, don’t be too temped to kill the Triads near the water in Chinatown as you can get rammed in by the vans, I prefer location 2 as you have access to the Patriot and there aren't any Fish Vans driving round. Don’t stop for too long as you will get dragged out.

Staunton

1) Destroy 15 vehicles
Weapon: M16
Location 1: Liberty Campus, behind the southern-most building or opposite the Cartel lockups.
Location 2: Behind a wall at the southern section of the building site.
Tips: Just think of the polar bears and let loose on those gas guzzlers! Remember don’t get too close to the explosions.

2) Kill 25 Yardies
Weapon: Grenades
Location 1: Alleyway behind the Fire Station.
Location 2: Alleyway in Liberty Campus, take a left and a left from your hideout and the alley is on your right.
Tips: Don’t blow yourself up, this is quite easy as long as you don’t get stomped out by a large group.

3) Destroy 8 Vehicles
Weapon: Shotgun
Location 1: Corner of Belleville Park (not hard to find).
Location 2: Opposite corner of Belleville Park.
Tips: Block off the road and don’t stand too close to the cars after the first shot.

4) Burn 16 Yakuza
Weapon: Molotov cocktails
Location 1: In front of the wedge shaped house on the flyover/highway that starts at Fort Staunton.
Location 2: Just past the Pay’n’Spray and 8-Ball’s.
Tips: Stand on a ledge and don’t get burned.

5) Snipe 17 Yardies in the head
Weapon: Sniper rifle
Location 1: Go up one flight of stairs of the AMco building in Torrington.
Location 2: Up the stairs of Kenji’s casino.
Tips: You gotta shoot ‘em in the head! Don’t get too high up as the draw distance sucks, in fact just get up on that awning above the stairs in the first location and use it as your grassy knoll.

6) Kill 25 Yakuza
Weapon: Flamethrower
Location 1: Car park opposite Donald Love’s building (the one with that sign).
Location 2: Next to the church in Bedford Point.
Tips: Don’t let them run too close and set you on fire, other than that you shouldn’t see any problems.

7) Kill 20 Yardies
Weapon: RPG
Location 1: Cemetery behind the church on the western side of Bedford Point.
Location 2: Northern entrance to the car park from rampage 6, behind a bush.
Tips: Stay back! Try not to get chased. If you continue south from location 1, you can go up some stairs and use that ledge.

Shoreside Vale

1) Kill 20 Columbian Cartel
Weapon: Car (any)
Location 1: Francis Intl. Airport behind a billboard of a burger opposite main building.
Location 2: Hill south of the Hospital.
Tips: Get a nice strong car, how about a Cartel Cruiser and put them bull-bars to good use!

2) Destroy 7 Vehicles
Weapon: Uzi
Location 1: Inside Punk Noodles in Pike Creek.
Location 2: At the bottom of Cochrane Dam next to a rock.
Tips: Get a car that can take a pounding, when the target catches fire back off but don’t let them get out of the draw distance as it won’t count.

3) Snipe 20 Cartel in the head
Weapon: Sniper Rifle
Location 1: Alleyway with the jump behind the Import/Export garage in Pike Creek (opening as you drive off Cochrane Dam)
Location 2: Roof of garages opposite 8-Balls (Behind the Police station).
Tips: Shoot the head, get a good vantage point; although the game sets you up with one at both locations so a relatively easy one.

4) Destroy 15 Vehicles
Weapon: RPG
Location 1: Roof of Turtle Head building in Pike Creek.
Location 2: Behind the Badfellas billboard at Francis Intl.
Tips: Keep a car handy to get into as the game doesn’t like spawning vehicles when you’re on foot.

5) Kill 20 Cartel
Weapon: Flamethrower
Location 1: Cedar Grove, behind the garage with a Landstalker near the Columbian mansion.
Location 2: Next to the Import/Export garage.
Tips: At location 1, if you get a Cartel Cruiser and go in the mansion, you can flame those pesky Cartel through the wall, but they can’t shoot you, GTA logic for you.

6) Kill 20 Hoods
Weapon: Shotgun
Location 1: Garage roof Wichita Gardens. Jump off the flyover going down from your hideout.
Location 2: Behind a blue SUMO billboard at Francis Intl.
Tips: Armour up, you should have the hang of these by now.

7) Behead 20 Hoods
Weapon: M16
Location 1: Behind a Squid billboard, look up outside the picnic area entrance.
Location 2: There is a car park with a Banshee north of your hideout. Behind the billboards outside that car park.
Tips: Shoot the head, have a good vantage point.

Good tip to finding packages, rampages, etc. by urself is moving throught the town by foot. It's really enjoyable to do sometimes and u can find stuff.
