Enable Gamepad (non-XInput devices)

This game uses XInput library from Microsoft. XInput is used to provide native support for the Xbox 360 Controller and other compatible controllers.

Non-XInput controllers will need to use a program like X360ce (XBOX 360 Controller emulator) to communicate with this game.

Steps:

1. Install your Gamepad drivers as usual (skip this step if already installed)
   
   
2. Get the x360ce emulator (xbox 360 gamepad emulator) - https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list
   
   This emulator will make your game think that your gamepad is a xbox360 gamepad controller.
   
   
   • Download the x360 app (x360ce.App*.zip) and the latest library (x360ce_lib64*.zip or x360ce_lib32*.zip)
     
     
   • Instead of the latest library you can try the old r642 library (better compatibility with most games) - https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list?can=1&q=&colspec=Filename+Summary+Uploaded+ReleaseDate+Size+DownloadCount
   
   
3. Merge the contents from the App and the Library archives in a single folder. Run "x360ce.exe"
   
   Note: If a warning appears saying "Configuration file version does not match x360ce version.", just add Version=1 under the [Options] section in x360ce.ini
   
   
4. It will ask if you want to create a file named "x360ce.ini". Answer YES
   
   
5. After that it will detect your Gamepad and will ask if you want to search for the settings. Keep the default options (auto search + internet) and click NEXT. Select the Internet source and click FINISH.
   
   
6. Test your gamepad controller keys to check if they are correctly assigned. Reassign the keys if needed or search for a new setup in "Settings Database > Global Settings".
   
   
7. Go to "Options" and enable all the "Installed Files" (xinput1_2; xinput1_1; xinput9_1_0).
   
   
8. Save & Exit.
   
   
9. Copy the "xinput9_1_0.dll" file (Sacred Citadel uses xinput9_1_0.dll) and the "x360ce.ini" file to your game installation folder (ex: \steamapps\common\sacred_citadel)
   
   
10. Start the game and do not press any keyboard key. Use your Gamepad instead. [/0list]

Como puedo hacer este paso: "Nota: Si aparece una advertencia que dice "La versión del archivo de configuración no coincide con la versión x360ce.", simplemente agregue Version=1 en la sección [Opciones] en x360ce.ini"

No sé cómo colocarlo en la versión 1 porque me aparece un 2 por defecto

Excellent! I already had X360 files in this game and all I had to do was rename xinput9 file to xinput9_1_0.dll , thanks to this guide.
