The Architects & Megastructure Expansion

Beskrivelse
This contains two items: The Architects Faction and the Megastructure Fan Expansion. The Faction requires the use of the expansion.

MEGASTRUCTURES

Massive, planet-like structures that grant their owners powerful buffs and boons. They come with their own rules and mechanics that integrate easily with the normal rules. Full Document can be found in-game or here: {LINK FJERNET}

- MATRIOSHKA BRAIN - When you research a technology, you may exhaust this card to skip 1 prerequisite.

- HYPERLIGHT MATTERSLING - When a player's ships move through this Megastructure's system, you may allow that player to apply +1 to the move value of those ships

- DYSON SWARM - At the start of the strategy phase, you may exhaust this card to gain three trade goods.

During the action phase, you may exhaust this card to allow another player to gain your printed commodity value in trade goods.

- STELLAR HYPERFORGE - This structure has the PRODUCTION 4 ability. When you use the PRODUCTION ability of this Megastructure, you place a fighter for each non-fighter ship or mech you produce in this system

- WORMHOLE FREQUENCY ANALYZER - At the start of a player’s turn, you may exhaust this card, if you do; this Megastructure’s systems contain either an Alpha, Beta, or a Gamma wormhole until the end of that player’s turn.

- CENTRAL LOGISTICS COMPLEX - When you gain this card, add the Megastructure command tokens to your reinforcements; even if they on another player’s command sheet. When you gain command tokens during the status phase, you also gain a Megastructure command token.

This expansion also comes with 2 secret objectives, 1 stage 1 objective, 1 stage objective, and 2 action cards.

THE ARCHITECTS
The Architects are an ancient contractor faction returning to the fold now that the seat of the Empire is open. They see the rest of the galaxy as savages who need guidance after witnessing the Twilight Wars from their Utopia.

This old race designed and constructed the first Megastructures, but left them lost in the cosmos after they retreated to hide from the galactic conflict. However, they have not simply been waiting for the war to breeze over, but took the time to experiment and sharpen their designs. New Megastructures, never been built, were designed and ready for construction. And now, this was the perfect time to do so.

ABILITIES:
MEGACONSTRUCTION
When a player draws a Megastructure Found card, you may allow that player to place an Architect structure in the explored system and discard the exploration card. You receive the RESTORE cost in trade goods when an Architect Megastructure is RESTORED.
MEGASTRUCTURE ARCHIVES
When a player explores a planet, you may allow them to search the frontier deck instead; if this player is yourself, spend one strategy token. If the card drawn is not a Megastructure Found card, it is discarded.
ASSEMBLER NETWORK
Your fleet pool is increased by 1 for every 2 RESTORED Megastructures on the game board.

After a round of space combat in a system that contains a Megastructure, you may roll one die. On a result of 5 or greater, produce 1 hit against your opponent's units.

ACTION: Place a PDS or a Space Dock on a planet adjacent to or in a system that contains a Megastructure.

Then return this card to the Architect player.

You may exhaust this card to reduce the cost of 1 unit that costs 3 or less to 0.

When you cast at least 1 vote, cast 2 additional votes for each Megastructure on the game board you do not control.
HERO: Architect Nev'van - Ambitious Engineer | Ringworld - Massive Habitat
ACTION: Choose an anomoly adjacent to a Megastructure that does not already contain one. Remove that system tile and replace it with the Architect's Ringworld tile. Units, except structures, that were in this system are not destroyed; ground forces are placed on O'Donnell. Gain O'Donnell and ready it.
MECH: Construction Sentinel
When you activate this unit's system, place a fighter or an infantry in this system's space area or on this unit's planet, if able.
