Disable Origin In-game Overlay
By ᴾᵁᴮᴳESTONIA RuukuLada
Origin overlay is permanently enabled for games you bought on Steam.
Disabling it in the Origin client doesn't help.

Disable the overlay by deleting or renaming:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\igo64.dll

Unfortunately, you will have to do this every time the Origin client updates.
For joining friends, access the Origin client in the System Tray (lower right).

Hey guys I made a new guide to a years long problem I have had, and it actually works on every Battlefield game (at least the ones I own - bf2042, bfv, bf1, maybe someone can test bf4 but it should also work there). Basically I made a script which automatically closes the EABackgroundService each time you close the game, and it's pretty easy to setup.
Guide is here:

The dll is now located in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

However, disabling it also disabled my steam overlay.
