Steam Level Explained

WHAT IS STEAM LEVEL?

Your Steam Level is a summary of Your badges and shows off Your trading card collection and participation in Steam events. Each badge earned increases Your XP, and every 100 XP gives You an added Steam Level.

PLACE OF YOUR STEAM LEVEL:

HOW TO LEVEL UP ON STEAM?

To level up on Steam, You need to collect whole set of trading cards for specific game. When you collect whole set, You can craft a badge which brings you a 100XP. You can get maximum of 500XP because you can only craft badge 5 times per game.

BADGES PAGE AND PROGRESS:

HOW TO GET TRADING CARDS?

There is 2 ways of getting trading cards:
First way: By playing games. Each game will drop few trading cards (NOT ALL OF THEM!).
Second way: By purchasing trading cards from community market.

*BONUS WAY*: There is software called IdleMaster. This software play games for you and collects trading cards. (AGAIN, NOT ALL OF THEM!) but you going to spend less money if you already have some trading cards. *THIS SOFTWARE IS 100% SAFE!*

EXAMPLE OF TRADING CARDS:

WHAT DO YOU GET BY CRAFTING BADGE?

When you craft a badge, you gonna earn a profile background, emoticon and game badge. If you collect enough XP you gonna level up. I'm gonna explain what are you getting by leveling up your Steam account in next section.

EXAMPLE OF CRAFTING BADGE AWARD:

WHAT DO YOU GET BY LEVELING UP?

Each time you level up to 10th level (e.g. 10, 20, 30, 40, 50...) you're unlocking 1 Steam Showcase and 5 friend slots.

I couldn't locate the software called "IdleMaster" as you mentioned. Previously, it appeared possible to increase Steam levels using points, but it seems that option is no longer available. I'm interested in reaching level 99 or higher—any suggestions?
