Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles 100% Achievement Guide

This is a guide for obtaining all the achievements in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles. I used several different threads from achievement websites, but I thought it would be easier to compile everything into one guide. I have included a few links for certain quests that go into further detail.

If there is anything that is incorrect or missing, feel free to add it into the comments, and I'll fix it in the guide.

Greener Pastures

Found your way to Gemea.
This achievement is part of the story and will be unlocked as soon as you leave the cave after finding your first sprite. Once you're out of the cave and you can see the fields, the achievement will unlock.

This ain't no drill

Obtained all tools.
You can obtain all the tools from Different NPCs around Gemea. Here they are:

• Marek, located in Fairmont (The Grasslands), will give you a hammer.
  
• Minnie, located in Fairmont (The Grasslands), will give you an axe.
  
• Sly Mc'Wiley, located near East Docks (The Grasslands), will give you a sickle.
  
• Cleat, located in the western area of The Grasslands will give you a pickaxe.
  
• Theodore, located in Goldlake (The Grasslands) will give you a fishing rod.

Green Thumb

Plant a tree.
Plant a seed in any of the biomes in the brown circular plots. This achievement cannot be unlocked by planting a seed on your farm.

Motor On

Obtain Spare Parts to repair the Cloud Catcher motor.
This is a story-related achievement and should unlock during the main story line.

Ice to meet you

Find the Arcadian Ice to fix the Cloud Catcher filter.
This is a story-related achievement and should unlock during the main story line.

Let's go sailing

Obtain the sails required to repair the Cloud Catcher.
This is a story-related achievement and should unlock during the main story line.

That was easy

Complete the main story quest.
This achievement is part of the main story line and will unlock after fixing the cloud catcher; you will have to collect 5 letter fragments:

1. A book inside of a tunnel under the main structure
2. Several books near the staircase ruins
3. A toy belonging to a child outside the ruins of the main structure in another building
4. Several books on top of a table with a green bottle on top of it
5. A family photo inside of the main structure

After collecting these, the main story will end and the credits will begin. The achievement should unlock after this.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Glide with umbrella open for 15 seconds.
The best way to get this achievement is to go to the highest point in Numino Peak and jumping off the edge. There should be a ledge that looks over the rest of Gemea. Let yourself glide down to the ground and the achievement should unlock, if done correctly.

Old MacDonald

Build your first farm.
This achievement is not part of the story line, but should be obtained fairly quickly in the game. After clearing up some murk in The Grasslands, there will be a plot of land available for you to build your first farm.

There are a total of six possible farms to build in Gemea, so you'll definitely get the achievement after building one of these farms.

Brown Thumb

Clean up 100 poops in the farm.
This can be unlocked after cleaning up 100 piles of poop on your farm. You will need at least one animal on your farm for this, but it helps to have a few, if you want the achievement sooner. If you do not have a resident farmhand, there will be lots of poop on the ground for you to pick up after a little while of game time.

Treasure Island

Open 15 Treasure Chests.
There are tons of treasure chests hidden all over Gemea, so you'll unlock this achievement after opening at least 15 of those chests. This is an easy one to get as you continue to explore.

Bad Hair Day

Swap shampoo 10 times.
You can get colored shampoo from opening treasure chests, crafting it, or trading for it with various traders all over Gemea. Just change the color 10 times and the achievement will unlock.

BFF

Adopted an animal.
To adopt an animal, you'll need to have either a large or small animal pen on your farm, and then luring the animal onto your farm with their favorite food. There is a quest early into the game that helps you adopt a Groffle, and the achievement can be unlocked upon completion.

It's not a competition but I'm winning

Win a fishing competition.
After getting a fishing rod, go to the lake in Crestfall Coast and speak with Angle. The lake is surrounded by colorful fish decorations and is hard to miss. You have 180 seconds to catch as many fish as you can. To win the competition, you need to catch at least 7 fish in that time period.

Hoarders Anonymous

Filled your backpack.
This achievement will unlock after you fill all the slots in your backpack. This can be unlocked sooner if you carry everything you own, instead of putting stuff into chests on your farms.

It's not a sprint

Travel the length of a marathon.
You will unlock this over time by running all over Gemea completing quests. It is an easy achievement to get as long as you continue the quests after the main story line.

Happy Happy

First Biome is Happy.
You have to make at least one of the biomes happy to get this achievement. This will happen natually as you complete quests, clear the murk, plant trees, build the farms, and discover the animals. Here are all of the biomes:

• The Grasslands
  
• Crestfall Coast
  
• Dapplewood Forest
  
• Numino Peak
  
• The Shivering Plains
  
• Sunderwind Wilds
  
• Radiant Sands
  
• Hearthwind Vale

The Apprentice

Joined a Guild.
This trophy will unlock as part of the main story line. You will have to join the Carpenters Guild in order to get to the Radiant Sands, so this will unlock upon joining.

Master Class

Completed a Master Guild quest.
You can unlock this achievement after you craft enough items that are worth 1000 of the in-game currency for that specific guild. After crafting enough, speak to the guild master and you will receive a badge as well as this achievement.

Mad Skills

Completed all the Master Guild quests.
You can unlock this after completing all the master quests for each guild. Here are all of the guilds to master:

• Carpenter (located in Wimblewick - Sunderwind Wilds)
  
• Brewer (located in Inglenook - Shivering Plains)
  
• Constructor (located in Cinderton - Numino Peak)
  
• Cooking (located in Mocha Bay - Crestfall Coast)
  
• Tailor (located in Bobbintoff - Hearthwind Vale)
  
• Tinker (located in Arbre Ridge - Dapplewood Forest)

Artisan

Become a Master Craftsman.
After completing the main storyline, you can find the master craftsman near the Cloud Catcher's old ruins (they are no longer ruins). You can begin a quest to gather some items. Upon bringing him these items, craft the recipe he gives you, and then speak with him. The achievement will then unlock.

Cute Overload

Completed Kozi's Lovely Creatures.

Heavenly Creatures

Completed Kozi's Astounding Animals.
After completing Kozi's Lovely Creatures, head to Bobbintoff in Hearthwind Vale. Speak to her and the achievement will unlock.

Cat-tastic

Completed The Cat Lady and Her 55 Cats.

For this quest, go to Bobbintoff and speak with Old Lady Beckett. She will ask you to find her 55 cats that have been scared off. The different types of cats can be found in specific areas. Some can only be found during certain seasons and times. These are the cats you will need:

• 6 Spotted Brown Cats (The Grasslands, any season, any time)
  
• 1 Fisherman's Mate (The Grasslands, Summer, between 05:00-08:00 or 17:00-21:00)
  
• 5 Purple Rex (Dapplewood Forest, Spring, Summer, Fall, any time)
  
• 7 Snowy Milk (Numino Peak, Winter only, any time)
  
• 6 Summer Longtail (Crestfall Coast, Summer only, between 06:00-18:00)
  
• 1 Summer Blue (Crestfall Coast, Summer only between 10:00-15:00)
  
• 8 Mountain Moggie (Hearthwind Vale, Spring and Summer, between 18:00-06:00)
  
• 5 Snowy Longtail (The Shivering Plains and Numino Peak, all seasons, any time)
  
• 1 Midnight Runner (Sunderwind Wilds, Fall only, between 22:00-03:00)
  
• 8 Sandy Paw (Radiant Sands, any season, any time)
  
• 7 Green Whiskers Sunderwind Wilds and The Grasslands, any season, any time)

Fashionable Fixie

Completed the Fashionable Scarecrow.

Fishy Love Story

Completed A knack for Nackle fish!
Speak to Theodore in Goldlake, located in The Grasslands. He will give you a fishing rod and ask you to catch him a Nackle Fish. Nackle Fish can be caught along the beach. After catching one, return to Theodore and the achievement should unlock.

I'm your #1 fan!

Violet finds her Epic Joke.
Violet is an NPC in the game and can be found outside all the major cities. Each time you encounter her, she will tell you a different joke. Once you reach her last location, she will tell you her final joke and the achievement will unlock. Here is where you can find her:

• The Grasslands - Fairmont - near the entrance where the notice board is
  
• Sunderwind Vales - Wimblewick - near the harbor boat, to the left
  
• Hearthwind Vale - Bobbintoff - outside of the lower entrance
  
• The Shivering Plains - Inglenook - standing under one of the bridges inside
  
• Numino Peak - Cinderton - standing in the entrance
  
• Crestfall Coast - Mocha Bay - north side of town, near the path fork
  
• Radiant Sands - Akuna Oasis - go through the long cave and she'll be on the other side of the town
  
• Dapplewood Forest - Arbre Ridge - inside, near the entrances (notice board side)

She has blonde hair and wears a green shirt.

I ain't got time

Hire a friend to help out on the farm.
After you gain a certain level of "popularity" in a certain biome, and you gain relationships with people, you can hire people to work on your farms. You will know who you can hire, because it will say "hire as a farm hand" when you approach them. You can right-click on them and give them gifts until they get to 100%. Then, you can assign them to the farm you want them to work at.

Mad Catter

Collect 50% of Cats.
This achievement can be unlocked while completing "The Cat Lady and Her 55 Cats." While collecting the cats, you only need 50% of all the cats in Gemea. I got this achievement before I even started the quest, just while exploring and doing other quests.

A Spritely Adventure

All Sprites found.
To get this achievement, you need to unlock all of the sprites. Here are their locations:


The Grasslands

• Lumie: this is the first sprite you encounter and you cannot miss it.
  
• Lock: begin the "Seeking Help" quest from Fairmont. After completing this quest, the docks will be restored and you can search the blue crate on the boat. Upon doing this, you will discover this sprite.
  
• Grumble: clear the murk on South Field farm. Search the stacks of hay on the farm to discover this sprite.
  
• Curio: find the broken shrine on top of the waterfall. After repairing the shrine, you will get this sprite.
  
• Smudge: in the Sunderwind Wilds; find the ruins that has a chimney. This sprite will be inside.

Dapplewood Forest

• Romp: find the man near the river in Dapplewood Forest that has a quest available. He will ask you to get him 5 Dip Fish. After returning to him and giving him the fish, he will morph into this sprite.
  
• Glow: find the girl standing by a camp fire in along the river in Dapplewood forest. You will need to get a raincoat to shield her from the rain. After giving it to her, she will morph into this sprite.
  
• Sap: repair the broken shrine in Dapplewood Forest.

Sunderwind Wilds

• Kit: find the 3 fox statues. Turn the statues so they are all facing each other. You will then discover this sprite.
  
• Gable: go to Lumbercamp, go to the top of the house and you will find this sprite there.

Crestfall Coast

• Cub: find the 3 bear statues and face the 2 small statues to face the bigger one. You will then discover this sprite.
  
• Pitcher: go the the kitchen in Mocha Bay. Find the large saucepan in the kitchen and you will get this sprite.
  
• Pouch: first, complete the "Chef's Guild" quests. Then, follow the coast until you find the lady that gives you the "Juiced in Time" quest. After completing the quest, she will morph into this sprite.

Hearthwind Vale

• Whiffy: complete the "Farty Fen Bog" quest and upon completion you will unlock this quest. (you can find the Farty Fen Bog by the brown water that bubbles and makes farting sounds)
  
• Crescent: find the stone archway on the way to Bobbintoff (basically right at the entrance). You will find the sprite on top of the archway.
  
• Bolt: inside Bobbintoff; you will find this sprite in some racks near the needle and thread.
  
• Woodrow: for this sprite, you need at least 9 other sprites. Unlock the "Find the Moth Sanctuary" quest, and after completing the quests you will get this sprite.
  
• Fright: this sprite can be discovered upon finding the two large statues in Hearthwind Vale. The north statue needs to face northwest, and the other one needs to face southwest. You will then get this sprite.

Radiant Sands

• Shades: there is a glowing shrine in Radiant Sands. Finding this requires 6 sprites to clear the murk. You'll need to get 3 pairs of sunglasses (can be bought in Bobbintoff) and complete the quest to get this sprite.
  
• Shore: along the northern shore, there is a rock that is a different shade than the other rocks. Break this with a hammer and you will get this sprite.

Numino Peak

• Fennec: found northeast of Numino Peak.
  
• Cete: find the broken house with a tree near it, near where you found the Fennec sprite. This sprite can be found near the tree.
  
• Mian: enter the town on your way up to the top of Numino Peak. Start the "Search for Celestial Ore" quest. Once you enter the caverns as part of this quest, the sprite can be found on top of a red rock.

Shivering Plains

• Vellum: this sprite can be found in Inglenook, behind the lady that gives you "The Great Beard Off" quest.
  
• Spike: this sprite can be found after completing the "Finding Arcadia" quest. You can then enter Arcadia and unlock this sprite.
  
• Drake: this sprite can be found inside a chest overlooking Inglenook.

Twinkle, twinkle

Unlock all the constellations.

Here are the constellations:

1. Hin the Wanderer: found in The Grasslands
2. Mayus The Hopeful Beast: found in the Dapplewood Forest
3. Braya the Lonely Light: found in Numino Peak
4. Penassus The Wise Scholar: found in Hearhtwind Vale after clearing murk, using 6 sprites
5. Moko and Poko the Eternal Friends: found in Sunderwind Wilds, you can only get this in the summer, after the lake dries up.*
*I personally had a glitch where the lake didn't dry up in summer, but I was still able to get this constellation by jumping on if from the rocks above.

Rock of Sages

Unlock all the Sage Stones.
Each Sage Stone is found in a different region with a different quest that needs to be completed.
Here are all of the Sage Stones:

1. Radiant Sands: you will need to plant 5 trees.
2. The Shivering Plains: reach 50% happiness with any of the regions.
3. Numino Peak: mine in 3 different spots.
4. Sunderwind Wilds: wait until nighttime until you equip your lantern (you have to be standing in front of the stone to complete this).
5. Dapplewood Forest: befriend an animal (give any animal its favorite food and bring it back to the sage stone).
6. Crestfall Coast: catch any fish larger than 22cm.
7. The Grasslands: craft any 5 items.
8. Hearthwind Vale: wear 3 new pieces of clothing (just change your whole outfit).

Critter Crazy

Adopt every type of animal in the game.
To get this achievement, you will need to have every type of animal on at least one of your farms.
*There are several different types of foxes, but you will only need to adopt the Grassland Fox

Large Animals (you will need a large animal pen):

• Girpacca (favorite food: warm milk) Found in Numino Peak in Spring, Fall, and Winter
  
• Fluff Cub (favorite food: cooked fish) Found in Shivering Plains in Spring, Fall, and Winter
  
• Groffle (favorite food: celium seeds) Found in The Grasslands in Spring, Fall, and Winter
  
• Fenicorn (favorite food: poutine) Found in the Radiant Sands in Spring, Summer, and Fall

Small Animals (you will need a small animal pen):

• Fabbit (favorite food: herbs) Found in Hearthwind Vale in all seasons
  
• Bambex (favorite food: vine) Found in Dapplewood Forest in Spring, Summer, and Fall
  
• Grass Fox (favorite food: fodder) Found in The Grasslands in Spring, Summer, and Fall
  
• Squomble (favorite food: wood) Found in Sunderwind Wilds in all seasons
  
• Sprig Pig (favorite food: mushroom) Found in Crestfall Coast in Spring, Fall, and Winter

*You may need a couple favorite food items to lead them to your farm, depending on the distance. They stop following you after a little while.

I'm Board

Completed 10 Quest Board missions.
This achievement is fairly self explanatory. Quest boards are found in all the major towns. When you approach one, you can accept a quest. I recommend doing this one towards the end of the achievements, because you'll have more materials. However, if you do not want to do one quest, you can return to the board, cancel it, and pick up another one.
