The Last Stand - Necron Overlord - OP Tachyon Arrow Build!
By Alucard Raven
Tachyon Arrow has always been seen as a joke for the necron overlord in the last stand. Here I show you how to make it extremely effective and one of the best builds for the necron lord.

First off, the problem with the Tachyon Arrow:
Slow recharge time (about 3 seconds)
Costs a lot of energy to use over time (5 energy per shot)

Benefits:
Cross map range
High damage (one shots warriors, ravenors, space marines)
Good for picking off stray enemies or helping out teammates

The build focusses on lowering the recharge time and energy costs to utilise this ability. At the end you have a ranged necron lord (better than melee in my opinion since the extremely slow walking speed of the necron lord makes melee often a large waste), who has ZERO recharge time on the tachyon arrow and can harass enemies across the map at a distance and get far more kills than a melee lord.

Build:
Lance of Annihilation (1.3 health regen + annihilation barrage ability)
Tachyon Diadem (tachyon arrow + 80 Armor)
Glyph of Tireless Harvest (grants awoken which reduces ability recharge times)
Glyph of Living Metal (90 health + 3.0 health regen)
Glyph of Star Gods (1.7 energy recharge)
Tesseract tomb or nightbringer armor

This build gives you a ranged necron lord who can spam the tachyon arrow with NO recharge! It uses 0 energy due to the fast energy regen and is extremely powerful. Use the tachyon arrow immediately after firing the lance of annihilation and you bump up your ranged dps considerably! You become almost like a plasma gun tau commander except have good CC with your tesseract tomb/ nightbringer tower, along with super high health regen and energy regen.
