How To Defeat Rumburg Alone - Step By Step

Hi, I am Saul Goodman. Did you know that you can defeat Rumburg alone? Developers say you can, and so do I. I believe that every single Sordish president should defeat Rumburg and give their arrogant queen a parting gift from Sordland - without allies which want to get a piece from the cake!

Solo Rumburg?

Basically

You should create a peaceful image of Sordland. Act as diplomatically as possible.

Another fact is your background. Studying history helps you in your diplomacy.

Most important part is the economy. Aim for a great recovery. You should go for a planned economy, and nationalise one of the two companies. You may also nationalise both of them. In my case, I nationalised HoS.

You should also invest in projects that will boost your production. Conriat Industrial Zone, for example. Also, it will be asked whether you want to expand industry. There, you should choose enlarging the Sordish military industry. It should take 2 budgets.

Gotta deal with the Bluds too. In my latest gameplay, I gave them autonomy and started reconciliation.

DO NOT join ATO or CSO!

Increased trade volume is a MUST

With the 2.0 update you also need energy independence. I recommend 10% EPA.

What To Do Now?

• 1- Build L-1 Railway Project

• 2- As for budget, you should indeed increase your military budget. You can always cut down from education and give it to the army. Moreover, I also increased the budget of health, however, I do not know if it affects the war. I privatised education later on for extra budget.

• 3- With extra budget for the military, go for an expansion programme. In the second meeting, where you will be discussing the state of conscripts, DO NOT remove the conscription. Later, choose to enlarge THE AIR FORCES.

• 4- Condemn Rumburg for closing their embassy. Do not retailate.

• 5- Another fact is your trade deals. Do not trade with Wehlen because your peaceful image may get hurt and make it harder for you to get Rumburg kicked out of OMEC. Also, I prefer trading with Lespia because it affects your trade volume more than Wehlen trade. If you struggle with kicking Rumburg out of OMEC, you can check my other guide.

• 6- You can form an alliance and recognise the island for a better trade deal with Agnolia.

• 7- Accept the whistleblower. Later, we will use the intel brought to us and prove that Rumburg has nuclear weapons.

• 8- The spy scandal. You should imprison the spy. Later, during the conference, tell that she was a Rumburgian spy.

• 9- When Rumburg shots your plane down, prepare the Sordish war machine.

• 10- Do not transfer gendarmerie to interior ministry.

• 11- During the interview, you should aim to talk as diplomatically as possible. You can check my other guide for help. Kicking Rumburg out of OMEC is a MUST.

• 12- The AN meeting. There, you should not provoke anyone. Just focus on Rumburg. Reveal their nuclear weapons and their intervention in Sordland and neighbouring countries. After couple of events, you will see that AN signals sanctions on Rumburg. Also sanctions from ATO and CSP.

Firstly, dig in and defend. For the second phase, go for Dome.

When you see optimistic arguements from generals, that means you succeeded. Congratulations!

I don't know if it's because of the war plan but for some reason i always lose the war. I've followed the guide to the fullest and yet i still lose.

A person from a reddit thread said that you had to get rid of mandatory conscription and instead modernise the equipment. Is this true?
