How to Wallbang Campers (in Nuketown)

If you're a rusher in Nuketown who is frustrated at how cowards who camp with M60s in Nuketown here are some very easy ways to wallbang these campers. Which surprisingly many people do not seem to know.

Intro

If you've played Nuketown a lot and like to rush, you've obviously run into lots of campers with M60s. Or maybe even been spawn trapped and/or spawn killed by them. Nobody likes to play with corner (or house) camping cowards, much less be killed by them when you were one kill away to getting that chopper gunner or hind. ಠ_ಠ

So... here are some methods of wallbanging campers that could prove useful to people who enjoy rushing in Nuketown and hate their experience being ruined by campers.

Basically, in Nuketown BASICALLY EVERYTHING IS WALLBANGABLE (save a few exceptions), so you can come up with many ways to kill campers.

I'd show you actual footage/gameplay of wallbanging campers in these spots (which I've done countless times). But at this late stage in BO1's life Treyarch probably shut down theater mode (hence why 99% of all games don't record anymore, as you might have also experienced when that 100-0 gameplay of yours didn't save) ಠ_ಠ

Anyhow, where was I? Oh wait, that's right, here's the spots to wallbang annoying campers in Nuketown

Wallbanging Campers behind Desks

Sometimes players who are killing you in your spawn will often hide behind the desk. Often with shotguns, making them almost unkillable. That is of course, if you actually were rushing inside to try to kill them. It's much easier to just wallbang them.

For example when it comes to the yellow house:



This works with the green house as well:

See that? It's very easy.

If any camper hides behind the desks in that fashion, it is very easy to wallbang and kill them.

Wallbanging Campers in the Garage Door

There is ALWAYS one person also who is lying prone and spamming the M60 across the map, and he is always sitting in this spot. Every rusher has run into this before and hates these types of campers with a passion


It is actually very easy to wallbang these players without having to peek outside and risk getting shot, however.

You need to aim generally near the ground and facing the general direction of the camper. It sounds complex. But it's really not (at all). The garage door has very high penetrability, and it's very easy to wallbang campers there. I've gotten multiple kills on garage door campers by wallbanging them this way, once you actually get in a game and try this you'll figure out the exact spot to wallbang on the door pretty quickly.



You can also use wallbanging to your advantage in Demolition, if the defending team seems to be able to defuse your plants too much.


Just generally get a sense where the entrance the defenders come in are and line up your shots against the garage door so they go through the garage door and into that entrance, hitting any defenders who are rushing in to try to defuse.

You can get a lot of killstreaks this way, actually.

Wallbanging Campers in the Other Garage

When it comes to the green house, some campers also like to hide in the garage. They often also don't have Ghost on and show up clearly on the map.


As seen here:



Just generally shoot the small area of the garage door to the left of the car, it is actually wall-bangable. And you'll catch many campers off guard this way because they were corner camping and expecting you to actually go inside the garage. But you're too smart for them.

Wallbanging Campers Outside the Yellow House

Kind of obvious and you might already know this one, but why not? Nobody ever seems to do this.


If they stay there, they're guaranteed to die.

This tactic doesn't seem to work with the green house, unfortunately.

Wallbanging Campers Behind the Sofa

Odds are, you might have also run into campers who hide behind the sofa. It's pretty difficult to hit them.

Unless you just wallbang them of course.

Pretty simple to do.

Wallbanging Campers camping in the Stairs

If you've ever rushed the green house before you'll have run into campers hiding in the stairs waiting to pick you off as you enter. It's very difficult to dislodge them from this position because they're hard to hit if you enter from the front and it's hard to go around back without getting killed by spawning enemies.


Many people don't seem to know this, but you can actually wallbang people from the side of the house to kill the stairs camper.


This is useful because the wall is 100% penetrable, as goes with actually nearly everything in Nuketown, so you can use this to kill many campers doing this

In some cases their feet clip through the wall and stick out on the side, making it very clear where you have to wallbang. This happens if they are lying prone, So if you're one of the campers who lies prone in the house, stop lying prone ಠ_ಠ

Also, just generally know where the campers camp at

Lastly, when you start wallbanging people, a good way to know where to wallbang people is to be able to see red dots on the map. Motion sensors are the best way to do this (and personally, they're less low than claymores ಠ_ಠ).

Wallbanging is largely just memorizing red dots and where that means the campers are at, then just going to a wallbang spot to kill said camper. You'll kind of just have to play a lot of Nuketown to know where people like to camp at.

This helps even when you're not trying to wallbang. After playing for a while you will instinctively know where a camper is camping at just by seeing their red dot in a certain part of the map. It's not easy to get caught off guard by a camper in the house when you know where they are exactly before you rush in. Because you put a motion sensor next to the house and saw where they were on the map

And those are some of the spots you can use to wallbang.

It might take some feeling around for a hitmarker if you've never tried wallbanging campers before in Nuketown, but if a camper is there it's sure to work.
