Mafia Ready-to-Play [Easy Launch | Widescreen Fix | 60 FPS | Music]

This guide presents a ready-made package of files required to run the game on modern operating systems with full support for widescreen resolutions and high frame rates without any in-game errors and crashes. Also included is all music cut from digital releases of the game.

Installation

1. Install the game
   
2. Download archive
   
3. Unpack the downloaded archive with file replacement to directory:
   Disk:\Steam directory\steamapps\common\Mafia (or to another directory where the game is located)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• It is strongly discouraged to change the external game options from a separate application, with the exception of the screen resolution. Disabling vsync can lead to many bugs in the game.
  
  
• The draw distance and frame rate can be changed in the "Mafia\scripts\Mafia.WidescreenFix.ini" file using the "New Distance" and "FPS Limit" parameters appropriately.

Components

This file package includes the Mafia Widescreen Fix[thirteenag.github.io], as well as the "dpnhpast.dll" file, which is needed to prevent a program error from appearing.

The vanilla game was able to run on my secondary screen once properly selected within Settings. After installing the Widescreen Fix, it only launches on my primary screen w/ part of the game window hanging over to my 2nd screen, even though the right display & resolution has been selected. How do I fix this without reassigning my display numbers?

Yeah of course. I'm just noting that there are two "Mafia" folders, so if you just unpack the files without paying attention it won't work. Just in case someone makes the same mistake I did.
