What you need
A 3DS Max version listed below:

Updated: 2016 version added, 2015 plug-in still broken, unable to test 2016

3DS Max 8 - 32-bit only
3DS Max 9 - 32-bit only
3DS Max 2008 - 32-bit only
3DS Max 2009 - 32-bit only
3DS Max 2011 - 32 & 64-bit
3DS Max 2012 - 32 & 64-bit
3DS Max 2013 - 32 & 64-bit
3DS Max 2014 - 64-bit
3DS Max 2015 - 64-bit - There is an issue with this version of the plug-in, the GemExport component fails to load, possibly given wrong version string, yet the Eclipsemtl works fine.
3DS Max 2016 - 64-bit

(The 2010 plug-ins are broken, that is why it is not listed)

The plug-ins for versions 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 are included with AS2, here are the location of them from the AS2 folder:

Men of War Assault Squad 2 > mods > tools > plug-ins > x86 for 32-bit or x64 for 64-bit > folder with the same version name as your 3DS Max version!

To install the plug-ins

Copy the files found in the folders and paste them in to 3DS Max's plugins folder.

Here are the file names for each version:

3DS Max 8: EclipseMtl8_eng.dlt & MdlExp8_eng.dle
3DS Max 9: EclipseMtl9_eng.dlt & MdlExp9_eng.dle
3DS Max 2008: EclipseMtl2008_eng.dlt & MdlExp2008_eng.dle
3DS Max 2009: EclipseMtl2009_eng.dlt & MdlExp2009_eng.dle

3DS Max 2011, 2012, 2013 32-bit: EclipseMtl.dle & GemExport.dle
3DS Max 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016: EclipseMtl64.dle & GemExport64.dle
(The file names are the same, apart from 64-bit having 64 in the file name, so do make sure you get the correct year and bit version files from its folder)

Weapons
First off is weapons, thanks to Zeke Wolff for lending me the weapon model shown above, which is a Solothurn S18 anti-tank rifle, from the Italian Nation DCG project.

The tutorials are in sections, this is so you can find what your after, than searching through a whole video to find what you want.

Tracked tank
(Set for 2019 release)

This set of tutorials are for tanks.

Wheeled Vehicle
Wheeled vehicle of some kind, can be used in connect with tank tutorials.
Building (Basic)
This will be basic, getting a building, such as a bunker into the game, working, but with no destruction elements.
Building (Advanced)
These will be slightly harder, won't know till i get into it, but includes what the basic gives, but with destruction elements included and other stuff missing from the basic.

(These will come at a far later date)
Human
For human rigging and animation tutorials.

@SueLiz19 it is a late response, but it is because its protected. The files are locked by the developer. You cannot simply import the weapon in to 3dsmax.

soooo there is no way to import models from men of war to 3ds max? why? is there one script for that somewhere?

@VikingWarriorLizzy this might not be useful anymore, as your comment was way to long ago, as i've not done buildings as of yet, you can grab the exporter tools from the link above, it has a building example which could help you figure it out.

@f_silva1363 there's no videos available for exporting tanks.

@sabinoplane you need to find a copy of those listed, versions later than them are not supported.

Please help!- How do I export a building without it generating the error message : "Group_001 should contain 'xmodel' or 'xmodel' parameter" ? Is this a problem with my 'user defined' commands under 'object properties? If so, where can I find the right commands to use for a building? Every tutorial shows a gun being exported.
