Tips and tricks i use, and i recommend for new players and fans.

where to start?

Levels

for each level im not starting with DLC, i wont get into that yet

what i would say play each normal level just on normal, see how you do get the hang, and this is also to help with achievements too.


Normal
only thing i recommend, and this goes for hard too, use your fever mode as much as possible
not just for points, but in that mode the back is black and i think the notes are easier to see in the dark

Hard
just like i said before with the fever mode it helps me a ton
if you want to FC, play each level on normal a few times(with that it helps you get to play a song 100 times achievement and FC)

one of the stages (Not DLC) on hard because of the notes was really tricky.
there were 1/4 different probability of the note order. 1-3 were nearly impossible and the 4-5th ish were so easy.
the more you play the more you get the hang of it.







The easiest way to keep track of where you are what you've Fully comboed is your achievements, i wish in game it told you so you didn't have to take the headset off and on and off over and over.

DLC
are they worth it?
i think so if you get the game get the full version(On sale) if you get the full game (roughly 50$) on sale its about the same price it is without DLCS.

I think the 2nd and 3rd are the best although alien alien in DLC 1 is amazing.


Wands
I know this seems odd, but sometimes i use the star because its a big larger, and it doesn't move(this is more personal preference)
i just find that easier for beginners, not too much a difference.

My experience, i literally just went for it. i kept track by achievements and used achievements to guide what to 100% next. played levels over and over to memorize the the notes. super fun 10/10 recommend this game.
