A few weeks ago, I finally did what you recommended, and it's been great. I'm using almost exactly the modlist provided with the super patch, as it's basically what I had minus the out of date stuff.
Thank you for the suggestion.
A lot of the older mods I became used to are no longer updated, and there are compatibility problems when you try to run around 100 mods.
I need to strip it way back and basically start from scratch at some point.
Overall though, it hasn't changed too much. I focus mostly on vanilla balanced (or near to) immersion mods, regional expansions, cultural names, and the odd just for fun mod.
There is no need for this compatch to update in response to these changes. Everything should just continue to work as before. Obviously, if it doesn't, please let me know.
Technically it wasn't broken in the first place, since I didn't know that you couldn't use the Steam version of a mod you also have locally. This is why my testing changed from a positive result to a negative one after I subscribed to my own mod.
I really want to get this fixed as soon as possible, since it's also stopping me from starting my new game. Until then, please do not enable this mod. Doing so doesn't seem to be causing me any issues or errors, but you never know for sure.
