Introduction
Welcome to Hell of Men: Blood Brothers.

This guide is in addition to the wiki you will find in the game where all the statistics are detailed by unit.

This guide gives you an overview of each faction in the game with its specific units, strengths and weaknesses.

For each new game the player will start with a HQ and 3 technicians for all factions.
Faction hierarchy
In Hell of Men: Blood Brothers, all factions follow the same hierarchy.

Age 1:
Buildings:

  • HQ (available not buildable).
  • Generator (produces electricity).
  • Tent (increases population).
  • Laboratory (build Robotic and autonomous unit).
  • Barracks (build platoon infantry unit).
  • Container (storage of Material (blue) and Ammo (yellow) resources).
  • Cantina (generates food units at regular intervals).
  • Lamppost (lights up an area).

Units:
  • Technician (collects resources and builds buildings).
  • Rifleman (infantry unit with an assault rifle).
  • Machine gunner (infantry unit with machine gun and slight inaccuracy).
  • Grenade launcher (specialised infantry unit).
  • Reconnaissance drone (UAV).
  • Specialised factional units.

Age 2:
Buildings:

  • Communication Centre (build Non-Platoon Infantry Unit).
  • Level 2 Cantina.
  • Armoury (Unit upgrade).
  • Infirmary (build medics unit).
  • Anti-tank obstacle.
  • Sandbag obstacle.
  • Barricade (Medium cover).
  • Fixed machine gun.
  • Fixed automatic machine gun.

Units:
  • Level 2 Technician (collects resources and builds buildings).
  • Sapper (infantry unit capable of building defences).
  • Tank crew (infantry unit capable of driving tanks and light tanks).
  • Sniper (infantry unit with a sniper rifle).
  • Mastodon (upgrade from Machine Gun).
  • Rocket Launcher (upgrade from Grenade Launcher - Anti-tank unit).
  • Specialised factional units.
One anti-building variant available per faction:
  • Fusion Launcher (anti-building infantry unit).

  • Pulverisator (anti-building drone).


Age 3:
Buildings :

  • HQ (available for construction).

Units:
  • Technician level 3 (collects resources and builds buildings).
  • Operator (upgrade from Rifleman).
  • Sniper guillie (upgrade from Sniper).
  • Mortar (infantry unit with an artillery weapon).
  • Specialised faction units.
Poland
Special features:
Poland is a faction with slightly weaker barracks units than the rest of the factions and specific non-combat units providing an advantage on map control and economy.

This faction is recommended for the beginner.

Specific units:
  • Drone of collection, allows to collect more quantity of resource.

  • Detection drone, after deployment, large field of view in the fog of war.


Strengths:
  • Generator cost reduced by 50%.

  • Reduced rifleman cost.

  • Reduced cost of machine gunner.

  • Truck armed with a machine gun.

  • Medic with more health points and increased healing speed.

Weaknesses:
  • Reduced rifleman damage.
  • Reduced machine gunner damage.
Belarus
Specifics:
Belarus is a sub-faction of Poland. This means that we can find most of the specificities of Poland. Belarus is a very interesting faction with a fast start thanks to its special unit "Scout" which offers a less expensive unit than the rifleman.

Special Units:
  • Collecting Drone, allows to collect larger amount of resources.

  • Scout, fast, low damage, low cost. Allows to quickly capture strategic points and harass the opponent at the beginning of the game.

Strengths:
  • Generator cost reduced by 50%.

  • Reduced rifleman cost.

  • Reduced machinegunner cost.

  • Medic with more health points and increased healing speed.
  • Sapper with increased build speed.

  • Armoured support with improved performance.

Weaknesses:
  • Reduced rifleman damage.
  • Reduced machinegunner damage.
  • Rocket launcher inaccuracy.
Russia
Specificities:
Russia is a versatile and defensive faction. This faction has a slow start but has strong and efficient units. The specific units offer an interesting mobility and an increased resistance.

Specific units:
  • Fast Combat Drone.

  • Prototype Combat Robot. Shooting imprecision and damage statistics equal to the rifleman. The PS-21 offers a priority target for the opponent, difficult to kill with a hit point count of 40 against 20 on improved infantry units.

Strengths:
  • Cost of defensive buildings reduced by 50% (buildable by sapper except automatic machine gun).
  • Tent with a capacity of 6 units. The total number of tents needed is reduced.

  • Light tank with increased damage.

  • Special Forces Operator with increased damage.

Weaknesses:
  • Tent with increased cost, greater capacity requires more resources.
  • Sapper with reduced attack range (short range weapon).
Germany
Special features:
Germany is a mobile and efficient faction. With a slow start to the game it compensates with specific units offering a mobile economy and improved unit production.

Special Units:
  • The UGV is a mobile resource storage point, it can be deployed close to resources and stored to be deployed elsewhere when resources are consumed.


  • The turret drone provides cover for the UGV. Once deployed, the drones attack all targets in range with a high rate of fire.

Strengths:
  • Barracks, -25% unit recruitment time.
  • Technician with +4 hit points.

  • Tank driver with +4 hit points.

  • Machine gunner with improved rate of fire.

  • Sniper with improved rate of fire.

  • Buggy with Grenade launcher.

  • Armoured Transport damage increased.

Weaknesses:
  • Machine gunner cost increased.
  • Sniper cost increased.
  • Technician increased cost.
  • Tank driver increased cost.
  • Container" building unavailable.
  • Slow start to the game.
France
Special features:
France is a sub-faction of Germany, most of the advantages and disadvantages are found with specifications. The French rifleman is more efficient, which gives the French the strongest units at the beginning of the game but also the most expensive.

Specific Units:
  • The UGV is a mobile resource storage point, it can be deployed near resources and stowed away to be deployed elsewhere when resources are consumed.


  • The anti-tank armoured drone. Low rate of fire and non-area-damaging but high firepower. Very effective in small groups to eliminate hostile vehicles.

Strengths:
  • Barracks, -25% unit recruitment time.
  • Rifleman with improved damage.

  • Machine gunner with improved rate of fire.

  • Sniper with improved rate of fire.

  • Buggy with grenade launcher.

  • Recon drone with increased range of vision.

Weaknesses:
  • Machine gunner increased cost.
  • Sniper increased cost.
  • Rifleman increased cost.
  • Weakest Armoured Transport.

  • Container" building unavailable.
  • Slow start to the game.
Baltic Countries
Specificities:
The Baltic States includes Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. This faction is focused on robotic units with three specific units for the laboratory. The tents offer a reduced capacity but an equally reduced cost that offers a quick start to the game.

Specific units:
  • Aerial Healing Drone. Provides greater mobility for healing infantry units.

  • Combat Drone. Damage equal to the Russian Combat Drone but with a higher heal point count and reduced movement speed.

  • Anti-tank combat drone with rocket. Damage equal to the French anti-tank drone but with higher heal points, area damage and reduced movement speed.

Strengths:
  • Machine gun reduced cost.

  • Sniper increased rate of fire (counter sniper role).

  • Mortar increased speed.

  • Tent reduced cost.

  • Tank increased health.

  • Light tank increased health.

  • Jeep equipped with grenade launcher.

Weaknesses:
  • Machine gunner reduced damage.
  • Sniper reduced damage.
  • Sapper reduced range (short range weapon).

  • "Infirmary" building unavailable.
  • "Medic" unit unavailable.
  • Reduced tent capacity.
  • Buggy with 3 seats.
