BioShock Infinite Logo Disabling
BioShock Infinite Logo Movies Hint (if they are too noisy for you)

Rename / Remove the following files:
  • 2KLogoSweep720p2997.bik
  • AMDLogo720p.bik
  • UE3AnimatedLogo_ProRes.bik
  • IrrationalLogoTest.bik
and your BioShock Infinite game will start without the noisy intro videos.

You can find the movie files at ' Steam\SteamApps\common\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Movies'

for 32-Bit OS (like WinXP): 'C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Movies'

for a 64-Bit OS (like Windows 7): 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Movies'

If you rename or delete the AMDLogo720p.bik it will cause the game to black screen and not boot properly, after the first time booting it you can skip the amd logo so its no big deal in my opinion, thanks for the guide though! :D

You are right [UM] Frungi, any plain text editor (like windows notepad) will do the job but if you are using Wordpad or Word the ini-file will be scrambled.

I thought Notepad edited .ini files just fine?

This article[ www.geek.com ] suggests editing the XEngine.ini file to remove the references to the videos. This seems better than having the game continue to look for videos that aren’t there.

I am aware that moving/deleting is brute force but this works for everyone. Not everyone can edit ini files with the approbiate editor (carriage return problem, not visible, write protected etc.)

That's why i provided this easy solution. Additionally the files can be easily restored by checking files integrity in case of trouble.

For a Mac: '~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/BioShock Infinite/BioShock3.app/Contents/GameData/XGame/Movies'

Get there by choosing “Go to Folder…” from the Finder’s “Go” menu and copy-pasting in that path.
