When first starting the game (That means a complete restart) the cost of the civilian on the fishing tab of the stock market will start at around $2.50 with little fluctuation. That is until you drive up the low cost of life through over the top violence and political subversion.


For maximum amounts of profit, buy as many civilians as you can before you complete Mall Madness. This is when the price of your stock will sky rocket.

After Removing the Governor, the price will start going up at a steady pace.

CASH OUT

Using the money from missions can get you $200k-$750k profit. Continuing your path of violence will further increase the profit margin on your civilian stock. You can also diversify your portfolio with other fish as well. But this is just for early game gains. After you cash out, don't worry, there is more money to be made. Fish in the Casino sewers for a Wheel of Fortune that will sell for $1,000,000.

@Enrek At this point, I'm not sure. The last play through I did a few weeks ago didn't blow up the stock price like it did back when I wrote this in 2021. Not sure if it was patched out, but the fish in the Casino Sewers still sells high.

this works so fucking well lmao, dumped ~17k into it right after completing and i'm now at 330k and the stocks are only at 56$

i don't really think so as one time when i played cruelty squad i bought civ's and they skyrocketed (this was only a few weeks ago) but for some reason i deleted my progress and restarted. might be something im doing wrong

@dot_blur they may have changed this, not sure since I haven'y played in awhile. You can try the VEME method. Either way it's easy to spot which stocks jump/fall after you complete Mall Madness so you can always buy right after you complete and wait for the price to inflate fully.

when i try this the stocks of civ completely crash into flatlining. what can i do to actually give me much money

if the price rises to $30 by that time u can still make 5 figures as it rises to ~$120 by mall madness

if you go through the door behind the receptionist in CS HQ, you can go in the locker room to the right to pick up $500, on the last door to the left you can break the vent go through and pick up $1000, if ur fast enough you can dump the $1500 into VEME at 2-3$ and get ~$120k return after completing paradise
