Introduction
In Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, there are 37 achievements known as ZZ Cards in-game that can range from easy to deviously difficult. This guide will detail the best strategy for obtaining all 37 cards from across the game. This is a joint effort from the r/megaman Discord server, feel free to DM OneOneTwo - 112 #0112 for any questions.

Menu Achievements
Everlasting Red - Complete Mega Man Zero, Zero 2, Zero 3, Zero 4, ZX, and ZX Advent.

Self-explanatory, just beat all 6 games

Easy Listening - Listen to 3 tracks from each album, then beat any game and listen to its ending theme.

To get this card you must listen to 3 tracks each for the collection’s 7 albums (you may listen to them for 3 or so seconds if you want, it will still count) and then beat and view the credits of any of the 6 games.

Card Collector - View 30 cards across all six titles in the Gallery, then change the wallpaper to the secret image.

In order to get this, you must view 30 images in the gallery and change the wallpaper to the “secret” wallpaper which is unlocked when you have at least half of the ZZ cards.
Mega Man Zero Achievements
Rude Awakening - Complete the opening stage in Mega Man Zero.

Self-explanatory, just beat Golem in the intro stage.

Patience is a Virtue - Listen to all of Andrew's monologues in Mega Man Zero (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

Andrew can be found on the 2nd floor of the resistance base, the one right below the trans server. In order to get the card, you must listen to all his dialogue after finishing the Disposal Center mission. Make sure not to mash through it as he will ask if you're still listening midway through.

Permission to Enter - Enter Ciel's room at the base in Mega Man Zero.

To get this you must enter the room located right behind Ciel in the resistance base. To enter you must be A rank or higher. It’s recommended to do this right after the intro mission where your rank will likely be the highest.

Ice Breaker - Destroy the ice dragon summoned with Leviathan's "Spirit of the Ocean" EX Skill in Mega Man Zero.

In order to get this card, you must be A rank or higher when you fight Leviathan. Wait for her to use her ice dragon attack and then destroy it. Charged saber swings prove effective against them. Her weakness is the Fire Chip. In order to get to her mission as fast as possible, follow this mission order: Save Ciel -> Save Reploid -> Find Shuttle -> Hidden Base -> Stop the Hacking.

I’ll Leave This World To You - Complete Mega Man Zero (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

Self-explanatory, beat the game and you will earn the achievement. Note that viewing the credits is necessary for the achievement to be shown. It is also worth mentioning that you cannot turn on Casual Scenario Mode.
Mega Man Zero 2 Achievements
Disaster Prevention - Intercept the bombardment aircraft in Mega Man Zero 2. [SECRET]

An achievement that you will gain by simply going through the game. After you finish the air fleet level, you will gain the achievement.

Lookin’ Xy! - Obtain the X Form in Mega Man Zero 2.

In any mission (besides the intro stage and the final stage) kill 50 enemies with the Buster Shot and when you finish the stage you will gain the achievement. Note that fulfilling any other requirements for other forms may override you getting the X form, so this could take several stages.

Going Out With a Bang - Use an EX Skill to score the final hit against any boss in Mega Man Zero 2.

In order to get an EX Skill, you need to enter the stage with an A or S rank (the easiest stage to get a high rank on is the Intro Stage). After defeating a boss with an A or S rank, you will gain their EX Skill. Turn the EX Skill on by going into the pause menu, flipping the tab to the right, and selecting it while it is highlighted. Use the EX Skill you acquire to get the final hit on a boss to get the achievement.

Crab For Dinner Tonight? - Defeat Gazamir in Mega Man Zero 2.

During Phoenix Magnion’s stage in the room with the pillars with spikes, you must use the Telebombs to open a path leading to a ladder. Follow it and you will eventually encounter Gazamir while on a ladder. The Buster is the most effective to use against him because of his distance and you being limited on the ladder.

It’s Not Over Yet - Complete Mega Man Zero 2 (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

Self-explanatory, beat the game and you will earn the achievement. Note that viewing the credits is necessary for the achievement to be shown. It is also worth mentioning that you cannot turn on Casual Scenario Mode.
Mega Man Zero 3 Achievements
Proof of Justice - Defeat Copy X Mark II in Mega Man Zero 3. [SECRET]

Automatically will earn this Achievement by going through the game. Two-thirds of the way through the game there will be a stage where you go fight Copy X, simply defeat him to earn the achievement.

Does A Body Good - Obtain all body chips in Mega Man Zero 3.

Another that will be obtained simply by playing through the game. You gain the Body Chips from defeated bosses. By the time you finish Tritesta Kelverian in the third set of stages, you will have the achievement.

Cyber Diver - Exit Cyberspace after experiencing it for the first time in Mega Man Zero 3.

While this can be done in almost any mission in the game, it is recommended you do this in Sub Arcadia. It is recommended that you see “Fated Rematch” for how to go about most effectively getting this achievement. However, you can also just get the achievement by going in the blue doors in almost any of the stages and then making it through to the end door and exiting it. Do note that with the exception of the circumstance detailed in “Fated Rematch”, you will lose 5 points off of your mission rank if you go into Cyberspace.

Try Growin’ That Back! - Cut off Blazin' Flizard's tail in Mega Man Zero 3.

Hit the tail of Blazin’ Flizard enough with a cutting weapon (uncharged Z-Saber and Recoil Rod, Shield Boomerang, and any EX skill that uses a cut) and the tail will come off and you will obtain the achievement.

Fated Rematch - Defeat Phantom in Cyberspace in Mega Man Zero 3 (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

In Sub Arcadia, go through the blue door near the beginning of the stage to enter Cyberspace (This will not work if you are not in Cyberspace). Proceed through the stage until you enter an area with spikes lining most of the walls and with moving platforms. Make your way to the left side of the room and a door will be there. Enter the door and inside the room, there will be a teleporter. Press up in the center of the teleporter and you will be taken to an optional boss. Phantom can be rather tough, keeping your distance is always the safest strategy, however, there are times where he will split himself into several copies. When he does this you will have a good opportunity to do good damage to him with the Z-Saber. Since you are in Cyberspace you should have most of your elves at your disposal with a lot of health, so do keep that in mind. Defeat the boss to gain the achievement (if you fight and defeat Phantom your mission rank will not be penalized for this mission).

I Am Zero - Complete Mega Man Zero 3 (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

Self-explanatory, beat the game and you will earn the achievement. Note that viewing the credits is necessary for the achievement to be shown. It is also worth mentioning that you cannot turn on Casual Scenario Mode.
Mega Man Zero 4 Achievements
Crisis Averted - Defeat Craft in the Ragnarok Control Room and stop Ragnarok in Mega Man Zero 4. [SECRET]

An achievement you will get by simply going through the game. You will earn the achievement after defeating Craft in Ragnarok.

Chip Maker - Create a chip by combining collected parts in Mega Man Zero 4.

Create any chip in the game, you make chips by collecting materials from defeated enemies (these material drops are random) and talking to Cerveau to make a chip by combining multiple parts. A very easy one to make is the Quick Chip, which requires 3 Kerberos found in Popla Cocapetri's Stage (Creating chips for the Crystal Maker Achievement will also count towards this).

Crystal Maker - Create an S-Crystal in Mega Man Zero 4.

The S-Crystal is a special item made by Cerveau, talk to Cerveau to make the S-Crystal after gathering these parts:

  • V-Fire: the common Purple enemy that is found throughout most stages in the game
  • Ceratanium: A special part that is lying around in most stages in the game, easiest to find in Heat Genblem’s stage in the Particle Beam
  • Faital: A stationary rotating cylinder with flame swords, found in Heat Genblem’s stage
  • Mechamason: A stationary big turret-like enemy that looks like a large metal cylinder. Found in Pegasolta Eclair’s, Tech Kraken and Popla Cocapetri’s stage

...What, This Old Thing? - Defeat a boss with three Junk chips equipped and without a cyber-elf equipped in Mega Man Zero 4. [SECRET]

Create all three pieces of the Junk set with parts from defeated enemies:
To create Junk, just combine any parts that don’t form a recipe
  • Junk Head Parts:
    Glass Cannon: Sol Titanion’s miniboss
    Serpent Gear: Fenri Lunaedge’s miniboss
    Junk
  • Junk Body Parts:
Ceratanium: Found in most stages lying around, easiest to find in Heat Genblem’s stage
GangaGun: driller enemies found in Heat Genblem’s, Mino Magnus’s and Randam Bandam’s stage
S-Crystal: See “Crystal Maker” for how to obtain
    Junk
  • Junk Foot Parts:
Moloid: Hammer enemies in the intermission stage at Area Zero (YOU CANNOT COLLECT THIS PART IF YOU FINISH THE INTERMISSION STAGE, SO MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS ON YOUR FIRST RUN)
Beamwalker: Green walker enemies in the Area Zero intro stage
Bombadeer: Fire enemies that are fired from Mechamason’s, Mechamason’s are the stationary turret-like enemies found in Pegasolta Eclair’s, Tech Kraken’s, and Popla Cocapetri’s stage
  • Junk
Once you have made all of these parts, make your way to any boss in the game. Before you fight the boss make sure your elf is set to nothing and have all of the Junk pieces equipped. Defeat the boss with the Junk pieces equipped to get the achievement (note that you take and deal double damage with the Junk pieces equipped).

Alternatively, loading the game on Casual Scenario also gives you each Junk Armor piece so just do that in case you don’t feel like using the above way and kill a boss.

Watch, Zero… - Complete Mega Man Zero 4 (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

Self-explanatory, beat the game and you will earn the achievement. Note that viewing the credits is necessary for the achievement to be shown. It is also worth mentioning that you cannot turn on Casual Scenario Mode.
Mega Man ZX Achievements
Inherited Will - Double Megamerge after inheriting Model Z in Mega Man ZX. [SECRET]

An achievement you will naturally get through playing the game, once you Double Megamerge you will get the achievement.

Like Taking Candy From A Baby - Obtain a W Tank in Mega Man ZX.

Go to Prairie's room in the Guardian Base, there will be a doll hanging from the ceiling. Repeatedly slash the doll to get a W tank (This can actually take a decent amount of time, just be patient and you will eventually get it).

To The Nines - Obtain all Item B chips in Mega Man ZX.

Probably the largest achievement in the collection. The Item B chips are passive upgrades to your character that you can easily miss altogether in a casual playthrough. The locations of all Item B chips are as follows (it is recommended you finish most of if not the entire game before starting this):
  • Eraser: One of the best and easiest chips to obtain in the game. After obtaining Model ZX, Talk to Carrelet in the Guardian Base a couple of times to get the chip (he is in one of the hangars).
  • Quick Charge: Another one of the easiest to achieve in the game. After defeating all Pseudoroids and getting all of the Biometal fragments, talk to Flueve a couple of times in the Guardian Base to get the chip (he’s in the main lab).
  • Frog: In Area C-1 a woman named Karen will give you a quest called “Find the Boy”. Finish the Side Quest (the location of the side quest takes place in the main building Area G) and then go to Area C-1. In one of the houses, a boy named Kenny will give you the Frog chip when you talk to him while wearing a biometal.
  • Ice Boots: This is a chip that actually changes depending on whether you picked Vent or Aile at the beginning, as both have different quests for getting the two chips.
  • As Vent: At the door to Area C-2 in Area C-1 there is a boy named Yu (he has a small car next to him) who offers you a sidequest. Accept and complete the sidequest in Area C-3 by talking to his brother Lou. Once you complete the quest repeat the process as Yu offers you another quest when you finish the first. For finishing the second quest you get the Pink Crystal, which if you give to Jack in area C-1, will give you the Ice Boots Chip.
  • As Aile, there is a girl in Area C-2 named Arcia (she has a dog). Talk to her to get a side quest. For the side quest, you have to go to Area A-2 and collect a mushroom. Go back to Arcia where she tells you that she meant a bird, not a literal mushroom. Go back to Area A-2 and collect the bird and return to Arcia where she will give you Ice Boots Chip.
  • Featherweight: Talk to Bar in the Guardian base a few times and he will give you the chip.
  • Extender: Talk to Silure in the Guardian base and he will give you a side quest where you find a rock in Area K-1. When you complete the side quest you can accept another one where you take the rock to the crusher in Area E (make sure not to turn off the power in the power plant). Afterward, take the item you get from the crusher and return to Silure to finish the quest.
  • Wind Boots: Talk to Anguille in the Guardian Base to get a side quest where you find five bolts scattered throughout Area K (these are kind of all over the place, you may need to revisit more than once). Once you collect all of them return to Anguille to finish the quest and collect your chip
  • Absorber: Talk to Leonardo a couple of times in a house in Area C-2 and he will give you the chip

Laser Surgery - Obtain a biometal with a Lv. 4 victory in Mega Man ZX.

It can potentially be one of the trickier achievements. You need to defeat a Pseudoroid without hitting the weak spot on it. The weak spot of a Pseudoroid can be found by looking at the second screen with Model HX. There are many ways to go about defeating a boss this way, but the easiest boss to score a Level 4 victory on is Leganchor (second Model L stage, as shooting straight up as Model FX is a good strategy to getting the achievement). Once the boss is dead and assuming no damage is done to its weak spots, you will obtain the achievement.

Bloodthirsty Messiah - Defeat Omega in Area N in Mega Man ZX (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode). [SECRET]

After defeating Pandora the first time in Area M, go to the right to enter Area N. Proceed to the right through the area past the disappearing reappearing blocks (it is recommended you use Model HX for this section) and you eventually arrive in a room with Omega. Defeat him to obtain the achievement (Omega is often cited as one of the hardest bosses in the series, it is recommended you have as many upgrades as you can when fighting him in addition to at least 2 Sub Tanks).

In terms of fighting him, the safest strategy is generally considered to be using Model ZX with charge shots, as Omega can do a LOT of damage if you let him in close. Trying to fight Omega with the ZX Saber is generally not recommended, as he will usually beat you out with his own Saber and do a lot of damage. However, if you catch him in some downtime some quick slashes with the sword can work. Try not to be passive against Omega as he can recover his health whenever he feels like with Rekkoha. While there are obviously many ways to go about fighting Omega, this is generally considered to be the most effective strategy.

Towards The Future I Believe In - Complete Mega Man ZX (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode).

Self-explanatory, beat the game and you will earn the achievement. Note that viewing the credits is necessary for the achievement to be shown. It is also worth mentioning that you cannot turn on Casual Scenario Mode.
Mega Man ZX Advent Achievements
Reploid Replication - Copy an enemy's data for the first time in Mega Man ZX Advent. [SECRET]

Simply defeat any post-introductory stage boss, being Buckfire the first stage boss you’ll encounter. After defeating him, his data will be automatically copied by Model A and you will earn the achievement.

Can Never Be Too Prepared - Obtain all 4 Sub Tanks in Mega Man ZX Advent.

The locations for the four Sub Tanks goes as follows:

  • Arctic Ice Floe: Requires either Rosepark or Queen Bee. About halfway through the stage there will come a portion where there will be poles that can be climbed with the Sub Tank sitting on a ledge to the right. Either climb with Rosepark or fly up with Queen Bee to the ledge to get the Sub Tank
  • Legion Headquarters: In the section with the glass windows and the flying platforms, the Sub Tank will be hidden behind one of the windows in the section.
  • Floating Ruins: Requires Queen Bee. In the third section of the ruins, there will be a cave you can enter. In it there is a woman who will give you a sidequest that if you complete it will award you the Sub-Tank if you complete it. You need to collect four items in the ruins and then bring it back to the woman to get the Sub Tanks. The locations are as follows:

L Tank: In the first area make your way up the ledge at the very beginning of the level, you will need either Model H or Queen Bee to get up here. Make your way all the way to the left and the L-Tank will be there.

Pinwheel: In the second section of the Floating Ruins, the Pinwheel is near the bottom of one of the trees surrounded by tornados. Hovering into a tornado as Model H lets you descend through the tornados, so use this to reach the bottom of the tornados. Conversely you can also use Queen Bee to fly under the tornados and get the Pinwheel by rising through them.

Old Balancer: In the third section there is a ledge to the left at the beginning of the area. Climb up the ledge and there will be yellow blocks in your way that can only be broken as Bifrost. Climb up the small shaft to the left and enter the cave that has the Old Balancer. Conversely (and also what I recommend as it saves you having to wait to get Bifrost) is flying there with Queen Bee from the platforms to the right (it is also recommended before this you use Chronoforce’s time slow ability as the turrets that compromise your gravity become much easier to dodge and fire slower if you do this).

Light Bulb: In the final area where you fought Aelous, if you make your way to the right side of the arena and start descending to the middle of the floating rock the Light Bulb will be in a small opening in the rock. You will need either Model H, Queen Bee or Reverb for this.
  • Mysterious Lab: In Mysterious Lab 3, enter the Yellow Door by pushing the batteries into their proper positions. Then, head to the end of the room and use Argoyle/Ugoyle’s ability to grab the Sub Tank from behind the last pipe.

Pedal to the Medals - Obtain at least one of each bronze, silver, and gold medals in Mega Man ZX Advent.

It’s recommended you do this achievement after you have finished most of the game and gotten all of the Biometals. At hunters camp in the main area (the one with the Save Room) if you climb up the buildings and talk to the various hunters they will mention that bosses have reappeared in their respective areas and offer unique challenges for them. Complete these challenges to earn bronze, silver, or gold medals depending on what challenges you complete. You need one bronze, one silver, and one gold for the achievement. Which medals you get from what bosses are up to you, so a guide where you can see what bosses give what medals for what challenges can be found here: https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Mega_Man_ZX_Advent/Medals

I Don’t Need Biometals - Defeat a boss in Grey's Reploid form or Ashe's Human form in Mega Man ZX Advent.

Self-Explanatory. Defeat any boss without using any Mega Man transformations. The easiest for newcomers is most likely Buckfire, as most of his attacks can be easily ducked under with the base forms. This can still take a while but is generally a safe strategy. It should also go without saying that health upgrades and Sub Tanks can help a lot since sometimes Ashe and Grey lack the mobility to dodge attacks from certain bosses. Hedgeshock is also a good choice. He doesn’t move a lot and there are many opportunities to dodge all of his attacks, I’ll go as far as saying I think he was designed with Reploid/Human form in mind. Beating Hedgeshock in Reploid/Human form would also give you a gold medal, which can help in getting Pedal to the Medals achievement.

A Chosen Fate - Complete Mega Man ZX Advent (cannot be earned in Casual Scenario Mode). [SECRET]

Self-explanatory, beat the game and you will earn the achievement. Note that viewing the credits is necessary for the achievement to be shown. It is also worth mentioning that you cannot turn on Casual Scenario Mode throughout your playthrough or else the achievement will be unobtainable in said playthrough.
Z-Chaser Achievements
Outrunner - Outrun the ghost for the first time in Z Chaser.

Self-explanatory, just beat a ghost and get the “You Win” message on any Z-chaser stage.

Running the Gauntlet - Complete all stages in Z Chaser (including hidden stage).

You must see the “You Win” message on every Z-Chaser mission in the game. This also includes the secret stage which requires you to get an S Rank on all of the previous missions in order to unlock. Getting S-Ranks can be somewhat tricky depending on the player. Since this achievement encapsulates all games, it’s hard to give specific tips. Asking people for tips in the Mega Man Discord can be a good idea for tips on how to improve your time.

Your achievement guides are probably one of the best guides I've ever seen :MM_eddie:
