Updated to 1.30! A simple guide for getting every achievement in the only bean based game better than Bean Battles, Redmatch 2!

About

The guide is not specifically in order of easiest to hardest

As of 1.12.2 Meet The Maker has been replaced by The Betrayal

As of 1.16: Just a Flesh Wound, Trickshot, and You'll Never Take Me Alive have been removed

I guess the generic "Like and favorite my guide!" is in order so... that's it, I've said it.

If you want to find a specific achievement use the search function with "CTRL + F"

General Achievements

Wall Hacks

Get a wallbang kill

You can shoot through almost every surface in the game, just shoot another player who is taking cover behind a wall.

Easiest on Siege

the Betrayal

Kill a steam friend

invite a friend to a match and and kill them, simple as that!

Shortlived Victory

Die 0.1 seconds after getting a kill

You will eventually get this from playing, its very hard to do solo even when you are using two PCs and press the mice at the same time.

Spoils of War

Have 25 upgrade points at the end of a match

You get 1 upgrade point for every kill, just make sure you get at least 25 kills before a match ends.

(Buying upgrades takes away points, make sure you don't spend what you can't afford)

Tis but a Scratch

Get a kill with 1 health

You will get this from playing normally.

Actually very hard to do privately as there doesn't seem to be a consistent way to bring a player down to 1 HP.

I was unable to get this achievement when the damage modifier was changed to 0.25x. may be bugged or disabled for some reason.

Jack of All Trades

Get a kill with the sniper, rifle, and shotgun in one match

uhhh, just kill a person with each of the guns...

Untouchable

Win a match without getting hit

Almost impossible to get in a public lobby. I'd recommend getting a friend to help.

Once again I'd recommend playing on a small map like Pit with the timer set to one minute, then just kill a friend at least once before it ends.

Packed to the Brim

Play Village with 15 or more people

Hop into a public lobby with 15+ players and convince people to/hope people pick village. Once the map is loaded the achievement will pop!

Boodlust

Kill 10 players in the first minute of joining a match

Can be done in a public lobby if you are good enough.

If you lack the skill you can start a private match with a friend, select a small map like Pit (I'd also recommend setting the time limit to 1 minute as an easy timer/ auto reset) then just spawn kill your buddy.

Collateral

Kill 2 players with the same bullet

This one is mostly just luck but if you have 2 friends you can have them line up and the sniper will 1 shot kill them.

Think, Mark!

Max out all of your upgrades

You just have to spend your kill points at any upgrade station (The red arcade cabinet), You must purchase every upgrade in a single match (minimum of 12 kills required)

First Aid

Buy a health upgrade with less than 10 health left

You do need to be very quick getting this achievement as health regeneration starts pretty fast, I'd recommend having a friend shoot you while you are already in the upgrade station.

The Interesting and Difficult ones

1 in 7.5 Trillion

Noscope a player from 75 meters away

(Recommended you get another player to help with this)

Play on the map Ruins and stand around 75 ground block away from another player, then just start shooting. Shots are completely random and it may take several matches to get a hit.

Supposedly if you stand super far from each other and shoot while scoped and unscope before the bullet hits it will count as a noscope.

Learning the ABCs

Kill 26 players, each username starting with a different letter of the alphabet

You will get this by just playing long enough, you can see what letters you are missing from the ingame achievement menu.

Fix Your Game

Get a kill with the shotgun from 100 meters away

(Recommended you get another player to help with this)

Same as 1 in 7.5 Trillion just go on Ruins and stand far away from each other (100 block units) and hope they die?

In the match settings you can increase the damage multiplier to make the shotgun a 1 shot kill at any range.

in general this is actually way easier than 1 in 7.5 Trillion

Camper

Win a match without moving

For this achievement you CAN look around, you just cant move.
Have a friend helping you. Just play on a small map and set a short timer.

Accourding to TsundereFukBoi95 you can still unlock the achievement while moving with the grapple hook.

World Trip

Win on each map

Just make sure to win 1 round on every single map.

You can set the match timer to 1 minute and kill an idle friend to speed up the process.

Button Masher

Press the button 1000 times in one sitting

On the map Playground, follow the green path and you will find an arcade cabinet with a button on screen, interact and hit space to press the button. You can do it the Chad way or you can find a way to set up a macro.

Good Sport (secret)

Say GG in chat after the game ends

Press ENTER to chat and just say "GG" after a match, simple as that.

Junior Gamedev

Draw Redmatch in binary

On the level playground in the red building there is a white grid that changes when shot. all you have to do is shoot the squares in the correct order to spell the word Redmatch in binary

You've started something bad

this will also unlock the You'll Never Take Me Alive Achievement


I'm sure if you've ever played Outskirts you've seen the code at the base of the clock-tower.


Here I'll explain the hints for the code.





Behind a desk in one of the buildings there is a note that says Clock tow3r

this is a password that you will be using on a computer hidden in the next building over.






Going through the door will reveal a terminal, interact with the terminal and type the password CLOCKTOW3R



You will receive the following text: when the clock tower strikes on the hour, let the light guide the way

What that ends up meaning is that when its a new hour in the hosts local time, the light above the missile will shut off and turn red, it will flash repeatedly and stop every so often. count the amount of times it blinks before each stop and that will be your unique code for the keypad. IT IS RANDOM EVERY TIME My light ended up blinking 2,9,8,3.



After finding out what your code is, run your butt to the keypad on the tower and type it in. you will immediately receive the achievement, a cut-scene will play of the rocket taking off and falling back down, everyone in the lobby will die earning the You'll Never Take Me Alive Achievement, and the game will end.

Workplace Catastrophe

Destroy all the mugs

This one is very tricky, the mugs are hidden behind destructible walls and on separate levels, those being: Playground, Corridors, and Towers.

Playground

In the tunnels there is a crumbled wall that will break and reveal 5 mugs with a second crumbled wall in the back that has and extra one. (thanks to zacattak1379)

Corridors

there is a hallway that has some crumbled wall, shoot it to reveal 3 mugs on a table

Towers

off the side of the blue tower is a platform, inside is 2 mugs underneath the connect 4 minigame.

You Are Worthy

Enter the gates of Heaven

To load into the Heaven map all you have to do is hold the left mouse button over the REDMATCH 2 logo until the animation finishes.

If you haven't met the requirements the gate will read "YOU ARE NOT WORTHY"

You can't do anything here except walk, falling off gives you the text YOU DARE DISRESPECT THE HEAVENS and the game closes.



To get past the gate all you have to do is get every achievement (besides this one obviously).

If the monitor on the wall isn't a bunch of random text from a hacker then your name will appear next to anyone else who has also gotten past the gate.

XEO Pt. 1 (Buttons)

???

On the map XEO there are 9 hidden buttons that open a secret door below the acid


I would recommend using speed multipliers especially for traveling below the acid

1/9:

On the back of the ramp on the opposite of the high teleport

2/9

On the second floor of the L building below the high teleport

3/9

On the first floor of the L building opposite of the high teleport

4/9

On one of the black pillars in the center of the map

5/9

On one of the side ramps that lead to the acid pits

6/9

On one of the side ramps that lead to the acid pits

7/9

Inside the high teleport room

8/9

Underneath the lower drop down platform

9/9:

In a hole in the wall below the acid on the right of the taller drop-down platform

XEO Pt. 2 (Maze)

After hitting all the buttons the door under the acid will open and lead into a maze

Eventually you will find an opening on the ceiling and it will take you to a room with a code lock

New 1.30 Achievements

The Beginning

Reach level 10

Simple as described play until you reach level 10

Dedication

Reach level 50

Play til level fiddy

Never Dig Straight Down

Die in the void with the pixel death equipped

Reach level 40 and equip the "Pixel" death effect, then fall off any map where it's possible

The Real Me

Create a custom skin

Go to the customize screen and press the "+" icon then paste any Imgur or IBB image link into the text bar and hit create!

It Takes Two To Tango

Get a kill while standing on a teammate's head

This one is a little tricky, I would recommend finding someone to help you through chat or finding an AFK player. if all else fails you can load up a private lobby with 2 friends and cheese it.

Fighting Blind

Get 50 noscopes

Use the sniper and don't aim down the sights (50 times lol). this one just takes time.

Combined Effort

Win a match of Team Deathmatch

Play team deathmatch and don't lose ;)

Uppercut

Get 50 melee kills

Press "v" to melee and kill 50 people with it.

Shake it Up a Little

Use a Resource Pack

On the main menu near the bottom there is a "Resource Pack" button. clicking browse in the menu will open up the workshop, subscribe to any of them and drag them from "available" to "active".

Sharpshooter

Hit 6 sniper shots in a row without dying

This be one of them "git gud" achievements. so either "git gud" or cheese it in a private lobby with a friend.

Death Wish

Equip a death

Go the the customization screen and select any of the deaths you have unlocked, if you have none unlocked then reach the required rank.

Take Me With You

Grapple onto another player

Join a lobby with ODM enabled and press "E" or "Q" to grapple, grapple onto any player.

Time Trials

Maps with time trials are Arena, Metro, Shapes, Streets

What time trials look like in the map
To activate Time Trials you need to leave all movement settings standard with ODM gear on, I'd recommend starting a solo lobby with a 60 minute timer.

Getting gold is relatively easy without much movement tech outside the ODM gear but getting platinum requires ODM hopping

Speed Demon

Get gold rank on all time trials

You can view any map that you are missing from the in-game achievement page by hover over the achievement.

Better than Rugbug

Get platinum rank on a time trial

Platinum requires ODM hopping so refer to the video above to get faster times.
