[OBSOLETE]
(UPDATE 7)
Posted: 27 Apr, 2014.
"Date of most recent edit: 2nd April 2016"
This was written before any DLC existed for the game, and when I stopped updating it, I made sure to clearly indictate that it was out-of-date for any who might stumble across it a few years later.
Ultimately, even if this had been a guide "meant for noobs", it wouldn't have helped you because you didn't pause to comprehend the first word: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/obsolete
It was frustrating me but now I know the answer :)
Though an easier method may simply be to not let the wires touch. :-)
There will likely be info on the wiki if this has changed; and I'm sure someone on the forums will be able to assist.
In any case, https://prison-architect.fandom.com/wiki/Power_Station may be useful. :-)
If I put another power station in, I still have no power. It shuts itself off. Do I not connect the second, third, fourth etc to the grid with a power cable, or do I connect it but further away? I can't seem to find a diagram on here of how you connect those second, third etc power stations.
Positive feedback is always welcome.
