I dont like melee type when later in the game they implemented a 70mob small raids. i just got stun locked a lot and died. so i went back to archery.
All the more after recent updates moved a lot of the Smuggler's old offerings into the normal drop tables in maps. You just get showered in so much loot that it easily surpasses Trading (my 3rd take) in terms of gold-per-run, and nets you plenty of free upgrades for the early game, before you can afford good items from the vendor.
There is no longer as big a disadvantage to out-leveling the gear sold by the Smuggler. And it's quite helpful that most of his gear has been added to the loot pool. If you've been putting in the work, you don't really need anything except the brand newly added gear...but now our gold income skyrockets due to Trading boosting the Smuggler gear that drops. Save save save!
"Tweaked strength attributes to scale with player's damage."
Those of us who saw this coming and have pumped the str stat even though it only gave us 3 damage per point in the past...the payoff is now. You can pull some crazy numbers with high str, even with daggers.
A healthy mix of agi and str is recommended, but agi seems to cap at 1.3, which you hit after sinking about 15 points into the stat. Since str now scales with your damage, the only real "cap" is your weapon damage combined with your weapon skill dmg %, making it much more useful than it has been up till now.
Just something to keep in mind if you plan on farming sieges.
It's hard to tell if Group Combat even works or not when you max it, let alone on your companions - but it does not seem like it works right now at all.
I would say the other ones...Golden Hand, Crystal Hunter, and Scavenger...do not stack as of right now. I did not notice any kind of variation on any one of multiple different play-throughs testing those specifically.
