A long time ago created I have a guide showcasing some of my favorite mods for Payday 2.

Months passed they have and more creative mods created they have been. Time it is to show you some more that worthy of my attention they were, and probably worth yours as well.

Same deal as last time. Mods separated by different categories they are. Download links to everything will be available. Also list again I won't mods featured in my previous guide. Just check that out instead.

IMPORTANT - Mods every single heister should have.

QUALITY OF LIFE - Mods that improve on vanilla mechanics without altering gameplay in any way. In Yoda's Jedi Master wisdom, the use of any and all mod that alter game mechanics and weapon/perk deck stats by default are CHEATS! If use that sh*t you do then you might as well use that perfectionist pirate thing, because you are literally no ****** better than them. "But Master Yoda! This game's balance is messed up and their weapon and perk deck rebalances fix everything! (Sad face)"

CARE I ******** DON'T! IF CATCHING YOU I AM USING ANY OF THOSE CHEAT MODS THEN MAKE YOU WISH I WILL YOU'D BE FACING ANAKIN CRINGEWALKER'S YOUNGLING KILLING EMO RAGE INSTEAD OF MINE!

Same deal for those ugly cheat custom huds that show you literally everything? You dare calling yourself a professional heister and yet you claim you cannot heist without them? Just uninstall the game and go back to Fortnite, Warzone or some sh*t. Miss you we won't.

MEME GARBAGE - Visual/Sound/Whatever meme mods that have zero impact on gameplay.

Map-Based Optimizations

Again and again and again and again, Overkill showed many times their players their technical incompetence. Despite Payday 2 being built on a (highly modified) game engine dating from 2001, optimized for sh*t Payday 2 is, especially the latest DLC heists (seriously even my epic gaming PC has problems running them without lag). Meanwhile Valve have been selling Half-Life 2 mods for over a decade and never had such problems.

So as always, leave it to the players to fix everything! This mod take the bull by its horns it does by optimizing a majority of all levels to help players get better performance. JUST DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THIS ALREADY.

Improved Offline Functionality

Makes the game significantly more enjoyable in Offline Mode. Use this mod I do mainly for being able to type in chat. Excellent for noting codes.

Simon and Gustavo's 11/10 music they made for Payday 2 somehow satisfy you it can't? Don't worry. This mod makes it braindead easy to insert your own music files into Payday 2! Too lazy to do it yourself? Maaaaaany custom music mods there is on Cheatworkshop that make use of this mod. From rock to electronic to other game soundtracks to boring generic anime music, there is something for everyone.

RAID WWII & PAYDAY Low Config Files (FPS Boost)

Map-Based Optimizations still can't give you acceptable performance? Wow, what a truly sh*tty PC you have. Here are some config files to make game look even more uglier than it already is and potentially give you more performance.

This mod also has config files for Payday: The Heist and even RAID: World War II for some godforsaken reason. The Youtube shills who shilled this garbage game back then really could have used these config files to help better sell this game! Mehahahahaha!!!!!

Defeated many NSXs, Integras, Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Vipers, RX-7s, RX-8s, Lancer Evos, Impreza WRXs, Celicas, Supras, 350Zs and illegally imported Skyline GT-Rs, my 2001 Honda Civic has. VTEC the second strongest thing in the universe it is (surpassed only by the Force). With both my little hands on the wheel and the Force to control the pedals and change gears, unstoppable I am.

Unfortunately no such mods exist. Closest thing there is to fulfill this fantasy we both share would be loading Payday 2 maps that recreated they were on the Source Engine into Gmod and drive addon cars in them.
